the hotel is very very nice, we were very pleased, yet not cheap. a family might need more space in the closet (we stayed in a suite). the position is great u can see the sea from some rooms.breakfast good.nice atmosphere. be careful with the car u come, there are not so many parking places ans the street is tight none as i think of now |

Great breakfast, comfy room. Everybody was very kind and gentle. it's a 10 minutes walk (top!) to the Blue Mosque and it's in a good neighbourhood to walk in the evening. |

The location on the edge of Marmara Sea is spectacular. All ocean traffic passes the front' Walking distance to most desireable tourist sights, or short taxi ride. Traffic noise. No elevator. |

Excellent location, with friendly and helpful staff and good standard of food, comfort, cleanliness and comfort. There was a misunderstanding about the terms of the package over whether or not a dinner was included. We sorted it out amicably, but I recommend the hotel should make the terms more clear. |

Good location for exploring city. Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfasts. Set price dinner very disappointing. Food bland and anodyne; overpriced for single person, (2 for 1 more realistic). Nowhere to sit in room except hard-backed chairs; better with double bed to provide more space. |

The location of this hotel is perfect to see the main sights of Istanbul on foot as well as being away from the hustle and bustle of the hostelly accomodation situated close by. After a hot day looking at the sights one could come back and relax while overlooking the Marmara see. Wonderful. Would stay there again. |

Only a 5 min walk to the city centre, Sultanhamet, Topaki Palace, Blue Mosque and St Sophia. Rooms were small, however you don't go to Turkey to stay in the room, but were very comfortable. Room had a nice view of the water and breakfast was good. Very comfortable for a short stay. Staff were nice. Note that not all rooms face the water. At the time of booking, the hotel offered a one way transfer from the airport. When we arrived, there was no transfer and had to make our own way to hotel. The hotel manager apologised and was happy to give us our return transfer. |

BW Citadel, is an excellent place for housing in Istanbul, perfectly situated at Sultanahmet (the historic city centre) and in walking distance from major historic attractions: Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque. The room was comfortable with all the facilities required and clean. |

Location, Sea view I had my family arriving before me, so the hotel promised a free (included) airport pick up, and my parents just waited two hours in the airport for nothing. This was a very annoying start. Rooms are tiny, we had a triple room which was a double room with extra bed, the room was recently painted so paint smell was clear. Staff barely speak English. This is no fun Hotel, stay there only if you intend to spend all your day outside. The breakfast is tooo repetitive, for Turkish coffee you pay extra. |

A small friendly hotel in an excellent location for the main sights of old Istanbul, close to restaurants in the old town giving a good choice of menu. Whilst the rooms are not large all are well equiped, try to get a sea view and see the shipping activity of this important city. |

I stayed for 2 nights with my family, I like the position of the hotel, the room was clean and tidy with amenities. we booked a triple room but they upgrade us to suit without any extra money to pay. I also like the terrace area the staff were not friendly and always upset. cleaning of our room was late till 4 pm, the air condition didn't work when we recieved our room, they sent us technician after we complain and he washed the filter of the split it was soo dirty. these things should be done regulary to all the rooms, although he was so unfriendly and left the room while I tried to understand what was rong with it. but after all they did thier job and the hotel is good . |

The hotel is close to main area of attractions in Istanbul. The hotel is also on Marmara sea shore, facing the Asian side of Turkey. It is also closed to Train station that make possible to reach out other part of the city easily. The payment should billed be as quoted is € in stead of the TL. The hotel transfer rate is high [€=2.008TL]. |

The Hotel has a very good position, very close to all museums. The personnel is very hospitable. From the balcony is a very good view over Bosforus. Breakfast is good. Rooms are very clean. There is a lack of parking area. The car was parked on the street in the back of the hotel, however there is a secure camera system 24/7 watching that area. |
