Friendly staff Great Position Good breakfast Clean room
The location is great, a couple of blocks away from the Galata Tower and its trendy neighborhood. Also very good breakfast and very helpful staff! The decoration of the hotel is also very nice, you can tell it is a newly built space with the motivation to succed in a very competitive industry.
It is next to a very dirty street, that looks very scary if you arrive at night. But at the end you realize it is just a shady corner with no imminent danger.
Staff was very helpful and the rooms were clean and comfortable.
As the hotel is at the end of a small steap road, taxis don't go down to the hotel, but will call the hotel to come pick you up from Galata tower. Not very useful when u are coming back from a trip to the grand bazaar with all your shopping.
It's a very nice hotel.. With friendly staff and good value for money
Everything was great... The location was little hard to find
I stayed with my mom 10 days in this hotel and it was so wonderful. everybody from the staff was so so nice, the breakfast was very good and every time we went in they opened the door for us. They are so polite people and the room was very big and comfortable, super clean and beautiful. The views from the room are amazing and the location its very good its like 2 minutes from Galata Tower and 5 minutes from Istiklal Street.
the location(nearby galata tower, tram, tunnel),staff was polite, the room was getting cleaned everyday, breakfast had everything you need
Perfect location next to galata tower.very clean.kindness of staff and of the reception girl.
A brand new hotel in a historical center. All facilities are new, the staff is extremely friendly. They organized for us a Bosphorus cruize on a private yacht of the owner for free! Ask for sea-view rooms, they worth the extra price
Nobody speaks English except for Ahu at the reception! The hotel is brand new and very close to Galata, but still is in a downtown. Especially if you go down to the tramway the surroundings are not nice. The breakfast is minimal (comparing to other Turkish hotels) but ok
A new hotel that looks and smells new. Excellent location to discover the city, all major touristic attractive places are in walking distance or easy to reach by tram. Quiet but still in a very central point. Personnel is very polite and helpful, we felt like home. Especially Ahu, the girl in reception, is very experienced, warm, always smiling and she added a lot to our pleasant stay (thank you Ahu). This hotel will be our first choice when we will visit Istanbul again.
The location is top notch, stones throw away from Galata tower. Very close to Istiklal street in the nice and vibrant Beyoglu area. The hotel itself is spick and span; the bed was comfortable; the curtains thick and dark. The bathroom and the room itself were nice and spacious and very comfortable.
The sea view that the site eluded to upon booking (and we paid extra for) was a view of about 5mm of the Bosphorous to the east and again to the west. The breakfast was minimal, the variety minute - I expected more. Although the hotel was overall very nice and I would recommend *practise your Turkish* before you arrive there as staff speak little to no English; the one lady who "spoke" English at reception argued with us for 5 minutes on the day of our arrival (over sums no less - no such thing as the customer is always right here, no sir!). The reason I rated the "comfort" as fair is because the second night of our stay the power went out in the area and we were left with no AC in the room and no lift in operation - so we climbed up the 4 floors and sat in a boiling room (after having climbed up the steep hills around the hotel but that's neither here nor there; I would rate the comfort level as excellent the rest of the time. On the same night, housekeeping had removed ALL our used towels and NOT replaced them with a single piece so that meant I could not even have a cold shower to cool down - Elementary mistakes really! Oh and to continue the saga I called down to reception to ask for replacement towels, the concierge did not speak English and sent a bellboy our room, who spoke even less English and could not understand for the life of me that we needed towels and it took him no less than three trips to get us 2 bathing towels and one face towel, meaning there was nothing to use as a bath mat.
The room was excellent. Well decorated, large, clean with all comforts. Very quite room with an excellent view over the old city. Wifi was excellent and fast. Personnel was very helpful and kind. We liked the hotel quite a lot. It is an excellent value for money.!!! We recommend with some asterisks of course :-)
Although the location is very central (and also very quite which is rather not common in Istanbul!), the hotel is located in a very steep small street which is very dark and dirty during night. It is difficult to reach the hotel. We had reserved a parking place which was about 150 meter far way from the hotel (although it was presented as being part of the hotel), and we spent around 1 hour driving in small , crowded roads around the area without being able to find the hotel... Otherwise, if you are in good physical shape, or/and do not have a car , this is an excellent choice. Cheap and nice, central and quite.... But difficult to approach either by foot or car.! Also, I would prefer a better breakfast (is was very poor) and I would suggest the hotel to fix the terrace which is an excellent place but not in use. The breakfast and lobby areas are nice but very small (which is not a problem unless you want to have a meeting there, which was my case) In any case, this is a nice hotel!
Great hotel, just a few steps from the Galata tower.
Great location, great services, great rooms and good breakfast, it is a clean well kept hotel in the heart of Istanbul at a reasonable price. The staff is polite, Ahu the girl at the reception is very competent and professional. I suggest to all the travelers to stay in this hotel, it is a guarantee
Big room; Staff; Breakfast; Decoration of the room; Clean; Good view;
The street to arrive is not easy, a bit steep.
The price is excellent for the quality of room and the extremely professional service. The room was very clean and nicely appointed. The free breakfast was a great plus, too.
Location isn't the prettiest; while it's close to Galata Tower, it's on a side street that's not very pretty. That said, you are a short walk away from the Galata Tower and bridge, Istiklal, and many great places to eat and drink.
The location: slightly downhill from the Galata tower, close enough to touristic hotspots without the noise and right in the midst of a typical Turkish neighbourhood; the 5-star quality of the service, from the reception to cleaning staff: Turkish traditional politeness at its best; the view from the roof-top terrace: complete from Saint Sophia to the Fener district with all the famous Mosques along the Golden Horn in between; hopefully the terrace will soon be turned into a rooftop bar/café; the comfort of the room
Breakfast, traditional and well supplied could be personalized with the addition of interesting breads (simit, poğaça etc) and fruit. Since the rooms already have sage tea available, why not diversify the tea offer for breakfast? The tv's remote control system is far too difficult to use, in spite of the printed et verbal explanations. It would be nice to have foreign-language channels other than Al-jazeera international
Brandnew hotel with helpful staff.Perfect location,GalataTower only min.away.Must see terrace will take you away....
I liked the staff, polite who met us and waited! front office manager Ahu very welcoming and friendly, did everything to ensure that our STAYS was even better and more comfortable. The hotel is small but very nice and clean! The room was cozy, chic with a great view from the window in the room cleaned every day, including bed linen changed. The breakfasts are good, tasty. We have always offered tea, coffee and assistance, and when we were leaving the hotel employee, doves our bags to the subway. And by the way, Wi-Fi super free and works anywhere in the room! Thanks to those who work there for that painted our stay!
We were the first ones who stayed in the room. The staff member were polite to us. The breakfast on the terrace was really great.
The hotel is new so there are still things that need to be fixed.
