hotel was nice in general we liked the room
it is quite old food was not very good
- Calista club animations and mini-disco
- the food: it was very difficult to find the food for a 2 y.o. baby and all of us were ill one of the day after eating in the cantine - the cleanness: globally the hotel is clean but some of the areas like for isntance windows in cafeteria are sooo dirty, inacceptable for "luxury" resort - the bad organisation of NewYear Eve
This is very nice cozy hotel for a perfect family stay: the territory is quite little but very well organised and very green; it's easy to navigate in the hotel; the lobby is confortable and make you relax; the SPA-center is spacious and you don't have anyone there in december. The personnel is very friendly and Calista club for babies is super nice.
- No specifica baby food in the cantine in december - The smell of cannalisation in our room
It was a bit boring in winter time
The staff was great, even if some of them didnt speak english good enough, they were trying to be helpful. The Spa is absolutely great, I experienced an unbelieveble scrub, soap and full body massage. Ask for Fatima. The all inclusive food was good, and may be too many sortiments. It took around 5 min to see all the dishes they give :). I gained 2 kg in 4 days. The room was big and nice, bathroom too. They have allways boggies to take you anywhere. They also have a very nice airport shuttle car.
They dont have their own golf course, so you have to go to other hotels to play golf. The closest is Sueno, 200 mt away. They charged us all amount of booking in the arrival night. I didnt like this. The asian restaurant "a la carte", served a very disapointing quality food. The all inclusive restaurant is much better. At least the food is fresh. All Spa, including swimming pool closed at 8 pm.
Everything in place. Had been thought for everything - from offering fruits on the beach to the full mini-bar included in the price. Great children's club - Calimero. Excellent all-inclusive resort.
It is really a luxury resort but the neighbouring hotels were not working and the semi-isolated location of Calista - far from a village/ town - may make you feel as in an incubator. But this is probably normal and expected for all-inclusive resorts. You may always rent a car to go out but the prices are in the higher range.
- staff was really helpful - like big rooms, comfortable bed - like design of the hotel since it is not typical concrete structure but nicel merged towers with nature
- quality of fruits and selection could be bigger - juices should be fresh for such luxury resort All in all I believe food quality can be improved
land scaping ,furnitures , and food
The resort is beautiful, beach, gardens, the pier, everything is in perfect order and clean.
The food is more quantity than quality, service is slow and the staff is not very pleasant. English is mostly a problem, the hotel is too much Russian oriented, our estimate was that 80% of the clients were Russians, quite arrogant and most of them with small screaming children.
Staff, drinks, food, rooms, pools where all of an excellent standard and warrants it's 5* rating. Something for everyone if all ages.
Lots of children constantly in the adults only spa pool and adults only seating area which was not necessary as there is a brilliant kids pool area with water slides and playground.
everything here is perfect
only local wine is free :(
Everything is great in this hotel, it is my number one for family vacation .
Everything was great food, staff, pool, activities
Little bit expensive
Great food and activities, friendly staff. The food realy was excellent, we ate in the buffet restaurant vellum and Turkish restaurant Turca. Other we can't test because of short stay. I am sure other restaurant's also excellent. Weather for may was not so hot this year. Some evening were cold, need jacked for sit around pool or beach. Will try go back September again for few days.
Everything was very good.
I like most of workers from staff and quietness of place...
I didn't like the Disco Bar it was not good..
Everything was excellent, we will come back to this beautifull resort , the staff was very nice, the hotel is very beautifull and the food very rafined.we had a very good stay and we were so impressed.
Food very good. Pool areas excellent. Indoor pool too. Room excellent.
No information in rooms about what's on each day/evening. We went mid April - amphitheatre closed - We stumbled across Jazz Bar where there was a chance to dance etc. but this was not made known. As lack of info given by staff and hotels daily TV info ( by reception) does not mention it at all, only times for daytime activities by pool I.e yoga/ aerobics etc. maybe this is different in the summer months??
