We were three friends sharing one "room", which was a little too small in hindsight - there was not enough room for all our clothes and so we ended up leaving it in our cases on the floor. Two of us were in twin beds in the room with the air-con unit but the third was a sofa bed in a separate room, which was very hot overnight, and had no bedside lamp, despite our request for one. Sharing made it a very cheap holiday, but I don't think I would ever do it again.
The location is stunning, especially the restaurant overlooking the river. We ate in the restaurant several times and the food was always wonderfully fresh with generous portions, and the Turkish wine was a pleasant surprise (try Doluca Asme!). We loved the peacefully quality of the place and the beautiful planting around the hotel buildings. It attracts guests that are more mature, who seem to want a quiet holiday and there were few children, which suited us. It is well situated, just a short walk along the lovely river path to the town centre. The hotel was very good value and I would certainly recommend it to friends, who want to visit Turkey and do not want to be in a large resort.
