    - Super friendly staff - Good size bedroom - Beautiful building - Confortable bed - Peaceful town

    - We didn't have wi-fi in our room - It was a bit difficult to find because they own few hotels with different names and the reception desk was at one of them that didn't have the same name as the one we were staying.

The hotel style was just as described. The guide who works/helps there speaks good English (Husrev) is an excellent guide.

I would not book this hotel again. Appalling facilites and service. It states: free wifi all areas, what you get..very little very unrealiable and you need to be very close to the modem (within a few foot) The breakfast was very repetitive and food being topped up etc. very poor often running out of plates, cups etc. Only 1 member of staff spoke English. Shower took about 20-30mins to get hot, if it did get hot. No laundry services (also advertised)and no way of drying clothes after hand washing in the shower. No bikes for hire and many of the other facilities are not actually facilites, they are things you can do if you book and pay for trips. We tried for a week to book hot air balloon ride, we were informed that we could book for 2 days later and not a problem, we asked several times then at 9:30pm the night before was when they tried to actually book it for our last morning to of course be told everywhere was fully booked, being our main reason for booking the holiday, this was a major dissappointment. From the sound of the area and town, it sounds like there is alot more to do, there is only 1 bar/restaurant several lokantas which serve limited food range for evening meals, no supermarkets, very small village. After complaining about the lack of facilities that are shown on the website and the lack of wifi as I had to work, they offered me a modem to use outside the room, again tempremental, they also offered us a free meal and 1 or 2 extra free trips, however due to lack of organisation we didn't get the free trips and on check out they tried to bill us for the 'free' meal.

The staff there is really helpful and nice, though their English is limited. The rooms are clean, as well as the bathroom. There're many electric sockets in the room. The buffet breakfast is really good compared to many others.

They have several buildings of guest room. Wifi can only be accepted in the main building. It's near the Ihlara valley but very very far away from the airport.

The view, the charming rooms, the large public areas (terasses), the off peak price (36 euros)

The staff organization (nobody at the reception for 45 min for check in, messy breakfeast), cave room smell (like many other hotels, hard to fight that: part of the charm?)

Happy with the stay (1 night; 2 rooms); quite clean outside and inside the room, quite comfortable, very quiet (village), friendly staff; beautiful castle-like hotel with nice view, close to Ihlara valley; for such a small hotel and for such a price in the area (as of summer 2013), very good and fresh hot breakfast; great hot buffet-like dinner, better than restaurants in town

Bathroom without shower curtain: we flood the whole bathroom and toilet when we take a shower; water very hard leaves traces everywhere; we found the bathroom quite dirty from this problem; I have the same problem at home, I could recommend CIF and a good sponge to get rid of traces; as a result, we were quite disappointed with the bathroom's shape; the bedroom would use an extra chair or pouf; bug issue: the rooms' doors (2 rooms) were not sealed properly and had a HUGE gap; therefore we slept feeling cold air coming in; fortunately we spent only one night and had a nice and thick blanket

We loved the view from our room, which was built into the side of the hill (one room was a cave, the other was added onto it), overlooking a rock face with old cave houses carved into it and animals grazing below, and a view of the valley as well. The room was simple yet elegantly decorated and felt very comfortable. They provided coffee and tea in the room, and an excellent breakfast buffet in the morning. We also spent 20 TL per person to enjoy their buffet dinner the night we arrived, and it was also delicious. The other hting we loved was the town of Guzelyurt is so calm and peaceful, and not at all touristy like Goreme or Urgup, but still gave us great access to the sights of Cappodocia (we did have a rental car). We would definitely go back again.

Being in a cave, the room was just a little bit clammy at night, and this would have been improved with a fan for a bit better air circulation. The only other thing is that the shower is just a shower head/nozzle inside the bathroom, but not with any sort of shower curtain or barrier, so it's pretty tough to take a shower without getting the whole floor wet.

Our rooms, which were carved into the rock, were amazing - completely unique experience. Hotel composed of different buildings in the old back streets which gives it a great atmosphere. Some beautiful views and places to sit. Lots to see and do in the area around Guzelyurt - own transport helps. Friendly people in the village.

Not many restaurants or much entertainment in Guzelyurt so possibly not great for an extended stay.

If you can do without a window, this hotel is a lovely place to stay in a great village. Rooms are large and in there authentic theme. We would recommend this place to others!
