Everything about Cappadocia Stone Palace was fantastic. Isa is a wonderful and welcoming host. Our room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The Stone Palace is located within walking distance to all the shops and places to dine. We had a wonderful stay and would most definitely recommend Cappadocia Stone Palace to anyone staying in Goreme.
The stone room is very beautiful, clean and spacious. The staff are nice and helpful. They arranged the shuttle bus picking up us in the airport. Breakfasts and the views are great on roof top. We had very nice days.
Clean , well furnished and friendly staff, the owner gave us a map of all the tours ( red , green , blue and yellow ) so we were able to visit the most important sites with our car. Breakfast was good but could be better.
although the bed was clean and comfortable, the heating system in this hotel was terrible, specially in the morning when the temp. was around 0 , they used to start it at 6-7 pm and turn it off at 12-01 am , so we were kinda freezing in the morning. i really recommend this hotel if you are going to stay in the summer.
Staff, Terrace, bathroom and Location
Bed was uncomfortable, We had to be very quiet as the sound proofing wasnt good
The breakfast was fine and the staff were also helpful. the location was very close to the market but almost 40 other hotels were
Water needed to be asked for (not complimentary) genetal cappadocia review-Everybody is cappadocia is a salesperson so one has to be smart enough else you will be taken for a ride as someone will be making alot of commission from you so go around a bit before you book anything. For ex:a good hot air balloon ride starts at 100 euros (check the balloon company also and book early). green tour is for 100euros. The ATV red tour is for 70euros.
Being picked from the Otogar. Osman letting us use a room when we arrived early in the morning by bus. The use of the kitchen to cook some evening meals. Breakfast was plentiful and varied.
A mix up over not getting the room booked with booking.com and being made to feel uncomfortable when asking for that room. However, it was rectified.
Central location, spacious room. Friendly staff.
Value for money was less than in two other hotels that I've stayed in in Göreme. No TV, few toiletries. Room at end of dark hallway. Power outage meant waking up to a cold shower. Not a bad place, but it wouldn't be my first choice next time.
Wonderful helpful staff.Great location in amongst rockv pinnacles.Extremely clean and spacious. Fantastic breakfasts on roof top
Well located, nice breakfast and nice staff that allowed us to keep our luggage the entire day while we took a full day tour.
Flies in the room were a little annoying.
Room was fine. Central but quiet place. Isa, the owner, very helpful. A good choice to stay.
Breakfast could be better. Flies on the plates of breakfast!
Convenient and close to town. Bed comfort was very good, quiet location.
The owner is very helpful and also gave us some good tips about Cappadocia and Istambul.
No air conditioner Booked a room with a hot tub, had to settle for a shower.
Bel posto, buona posiziona. Albergo molto pulito
Its a very good hotel . Gr8 location and nice atmosphere... enjoyed the stay there
Wonderful hospitality, great location by shops and restaurants, clean, new facility with spacious rooms, a big, comfortable bed and lovely roof terrace.
Staying at Stone Palace in Cappadocia was the highlight of our trip..! A family hotel right at the centre of town... excellent facilities...perfect airy spacious rooms..very clean facilities..and the comfiest beds!! After a day of trekking in the Cappadocian valleys..that's all you need. The best part though was how much at home Isa made us feel and helped us plan our daily excursions just perfectly for our family..and we saw him go out of his way for all his guests.. Truly the best spirit of Turkish hospitality. We spent a week at Stone Palace and would gladly go back for another relaxing break next time around..all the things we really miss: Osman's delicious Gozlemes at breakfast, Isa and Erdil's sense of humour and fun, the small town pleasure of everyone knowing everyone else and the lovely terrace which we've declared the 3rd best point to watch sunrise and sunset in Goereme..after the Uchisar Castle and the Sunset point. Will surely visit again to meet Isa and Osman..and highly recommend this place!
Family run hotel. Lots of attention to detail and very oriented to customer service. Always someone available for questions and suggestions.
Owner and staff very friendly and helpfull. Very good breakfast.
Lack of airconditioning.
The service is excellent. The manager of the hotel is a nice guy. he arranged the shuttle bus picking up us in the airport. He can introduce cheaper balloon service. More interesting is that he himself used to be a balloon pilot and has many interesting stories.
No air condition. It is very hot in the summer, even in the evening it is still hot indoors, with warm pillow, quilt and mattress. colling down the air in the room only depends on the nature wind. but the windows in my room just open to one direction, so no air circulation to cool down the air. And making thing worse is the barking of dogs and smelling of animals' waste from outside. What a sleepless night!
Staff were great and very eager to please. Newer clean and well maintained hotel.
Being a brick building the wifi was not great with the doors closed.
This place made me feel like I was checking into a luxury boutique hotel which I was certainly not expecting for the great price. Beautiful large room with gorgeous bathroom and attention to the little things that make you enjoy your stay. Tea and toiletries in rooms etc. Staff were lovely and happy to help.
Some construction was going on while we were there which meant a bit of noise for us but should be good for future guests. Mostly this was also only an issue because we were wanting to sleep odd hours. No air conditioning either but I think that is pretty standard in Cappadoccia and the stone makes it not too bad as a natural climate regulator and this was during the hottest part of year.
I can highly recommend this hotel. The owner is reliable person and arranged everything such as tours and shuttle buses.
Wifi works only in the robby in my case. I guess if the room is near the lobby, it might works,
The room was big, the forniture was good and pleasant.
The room was big but not confortable, air conditioning is missing and no fan is available, in summetime it is impossible to sleep. The only way for sleeping is keep windows open but consequently you will have really a lot of flights in the room. For honesty's sake, after some complains they gave us a fan, but it was not enought to get the room cold. The bathroom had no window or aspirator, moreover the wc was somehow broken infact the floor was often flooded. The air outside the hotel was most of the time stinky! The staff is not very kind, and often is not helpful, they just try to neglect the problem you have.
Excellent location within walking distance of the Open Air Museum and the center of Goreme (although we had a car). Owner was very helpful prior to and during stay. Booked us with the best Hot Air Balloon company in the area at a reduced rate.Breakfast consisted of fruit, typical Turkish fare and freshly made omelets. Bathroom was spacious with a hot tub and that was a treat.
Children played noisily outside of the hotel for several hours each day. This was a problem because there is no a/c and we had to keep the windows open. Ceiling fans would have help to circulate the air.
