Visiting Goreme is like travelling through a time warp and into a movie set, but it is real. The staff at Caravanserai were wonderful and catered for all our needs and made an effort to accommodate all our wishes. Oruc and Serdar - you are real darlings! Loved everything.

My husband and I stayed at Caravanserai for two nights in April 2013. From the time we were picked up from the bus station until we left for a night bus hours after check out, we were treated like family by all employees at the hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed our standard room, which was clean, spacious and well heated for those chilly Goreme nights. The buffet breakfast is more than sufficient to get your day started right and enjoying the views from the rooftop terrace was splendid. Also, great location to bus, restaurants, shopping, etc.

The staff were unbelievably helpful and we loved our cave room! The decor and the views from the deck, not to mention the breakfast, made this hotel one of our favorites. The experience could not have been better and we're already planning our next trip to Turkey and our stay at Caravanserai. We wished we would have used the hotel's travel company - we booked our tours through an agency in Istanbul and could have booked them for cheaper if we had waited and used the hotel's service.

Everything. Clean and spacious room, Nice staffs who informed me of reasonable tour and car rental fees. Great location, 2 min walk from bus companies' offices (nevshehir, metro, suha, etc), restaurants are also close to the hotel. Nothing.

We chose this hotel due to its location and price. The hotel is good enough. Good room, very simple, but it was what we expected for the price we paid. The location is excelent, very close to everything in Goreme. What makes the difference here is the owner. Really nice guy, speaks good english, knows everything about the city and is always willing to help. His father is also a very nice guy and helped us a lot during our staying.

The family who run this hotel - Serdar and Oruc - are friendly guys who went out of their way to help us have a great stay. They organised a late-night airport transfer to and from their hotel, and an early morning balloon flight for us in advance. We also took a private day trip with Oruc to the Selime Cathedral (really impressive!) and Ilhara Valley - you can also do this tour with one of the bus companies but I found it more personalised and easier to take longer or reduce your time seeing an area with it being a private tour. We also asked him to throw-in a quick side trip to see the Love Valley rocks as we hadn't had a chance to see them earlier and were flying-out that night. Luckily we made it just before dark. The hotel's location is also good - about 20minutes easy walk to the Goreme Open-Air Museum and just 5minutes walk to local restaurants, convenience shops and souveneir places. I can't remember the name of the restaurant - starts with an A, maybe Anatolia, but enjoyed good, cheap priced food there. Serdap recommended it. Nothing I didn't like about the hotel. Good heating in the room for a November too.

The hotel manager. Serdar, is fantastic at Caravanserai! When we arrived he helped us to organise our two days in Goreme, booking hot air ballon rides and tours, recommending walks and restaurants. On the first day he dropped us of at the Open Air museum and gave us a map with a highlighted walking path back to town. He suggested and arranged great restaurants for dinner on both nights. On the morning we left Serdar arranged for us to have an early breakfast before our transfer to the airport. He took every measure to ensure we had the best experience and felt at home at Caravanserai. This hotel and Serdar deserve their top ranking position! The shower head in room number 10 needs fixing :)

Excellent service! Serdat and his team were always keen to help us. We have received an email confirmation minutes after our booking and we were offered a transfer from the airport to the hotel for few liras. Very professional ! Clean and cute rooms. Good breakfast (fresh bread!) Excellent location in Goreme. A mosque is situated nearby : be prepared to be awaken by the early call. For the activities, please feel free to ask for more options : the first one we were offered is the classical tour with buses and stuff (not our kind).

The staff were very friendly and helpful: Serdar, his father and one other guy whose name i have forgotten. It's a short walk away from the bus terminal and tours can be arranged from the front desk, pick up and drop off point at the hotel front. A hearty complimentary turkish breakfast in the morning at the terrace with a great view of Goreme from the top. That, with the really comfy and cosy rooms, what more could one ask for?

Serdar and his family were extremely friendly and helpful throughout and that alone made for an excellent stay! They were very accommodating and welcoming - the hotel had a really lovely vibe with a great mix of international holidaymakers. There was a hotel BBQ on the first night we stayed which was delicious and I would highly recommend. We didn't go on any of the organised tours which the hotel also provide/help organise although we spoke to some of the other guests who did, who said they were really worthwhile and highly recommended as well. Location was great as the hotel was a stone's throw away from the centre of Goreme and walking distance to the Open Air Museum.
