the owner helped us to find an extra night bus from Goreme to Pamulkale. the seats of this route was so hot that we couldn't solve it by ourselves.

no A/C in our room, but the tempreture in evening is not that hot, so it doesn's really matter.

I enjoyed my stay at Caravanserai, the staff is helpful, The owner was exceptionally helpful and friendly, he provided me informations about entertainment and services ( balloon flight, Turkish night shows, transfers ) letting us feel free to chose the best one and making our permanence in Cappadoccia a delight. The daily tour was very nice also! The hotel is a charming cave Hotel and is perfectly located, easy access walking to the city center, and close to very good restaurants. The room is clean and cosy. The breakfast is very good and is on a roof-top terrace with beautiful views of the Goreme. I made a booking for one day, but I liked very much and i stayed for 3 days. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Cappadocia.

First of all, Goreme is the town to stay in if you visit Cappadocia - quaint, filled with good restaurants, and interesting shops. Caravanserai Cave Hotel is very well situated - 5 min. walk to centre of town, 15 to 20 min. to the Goreme Outdoor Museum, and none of the steps to climb that will exhaust you at hotels located higher up in the town. Oruc (owner/manager) is a charming host who is very eager to help you make the most of your stay in Cappadocia. And he is well qualified to do so, having lived in the area and been a tour guide for more than 20 years. He is also fluent in English, German & Dutch. He arranged airport transfers for us, and on our first night took us to a good restaurant where, on his recommendation, we enjoyed the speciality of the region - testi kebap. Staying in a cave room was a novelty that we enjoyed very much. And the terrace where we had breakfast and late night drinks has a wonderful view of the town and surrounding landscape. We would definitely stay at the Caravanserai Cave Hotel again!

The staff was very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was delicious, and the location was perfect. We were hoping for a cave room, but were put in an arch room. The staff kindly offered to move us into the larger cave room for the same price, but we decided to stay in the arch room because it was gorgeous and had an incredible view. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Hotel owner is a Goreme native, and he gave us OUTSTANDING advice on what to see, what to pass on, when to go, and in what sequence. He made our experience MUCH better, and we saw things not in any tour book that I can't imagine not having visited. Fab staff, too.

We had a cave room because we wanted the kids in the same room as we were. It was a fine room but really, really damp and on the border of humidity uncomfortable. I'd take a non-basement room next time. Hotel staff, charm, and service made up for it, though. Still heartily recommend.

Location is perfect, at the centre of Goreme; The cave room is so exotic!! Very nice experience, cool during nights; Terrace is amazing, I can sit there for a whole afternoon, excellent view of the town; Nice buffet breakfast; Staffs are very nice with sweet smiles; Host Oruc is super friendly and helpful, he helped us book the balloon flight, shuttle bus between airport and hotel, renting a car for red/green/blue routes tour; even drove us to the mountain top for sunset views! What surprised me, touched my heart, is, I lost my earring probably in the room that I didn't notice. After I checked out the room, and when I realised I lost one of my earrings which I love so much, I sent an email to Oruc to ask with little hope. But he did look for it and found it for me!!!! Very efficiently he sent the parcel to my friends' house in Istanbul, and when I opened the parcel I nearly cried. He put in such a nice gift box with a gift bag too!! That's sooooooooooooo sweet!! I had no regrets in Cappadocia, it's my favourite during this Turkey trip. Thank you Oruc, thanks so much for your hardwork and kindness!!! Love you!!!!!!! :)

wifi is not very working in our room, and slightly damp.

Lovely setting in the centre of Goreme. Our double room was fairly spacious and decorated with Turkish rugs and artefacts. B'fast was served on roof terrace which was open for hot drinks throughout the day. Oruc Celik, a historian among other things, was most hospitable and helped us plan our tour of western Turkey. Gokan, who was in charge of the kitchen and dining room and Mujaid, Oruc's assistant, were obliging and helpful at all times.

The location was not far from the city centre, therefore there was not a lot of noise from the streets.

The owner was VERY TRICKY. At first, he said he did not have my reservation, and I would have to sleep in some kind of storage room! I had to show him my name in his book for 2 times, then he admitted it was his mistake. At check out, he claimed that he had already done the check out process, and the only payment option was in Cash (€ only!!!). We didn't have much time, so I just paid in cash. The rooms smelled a little.

The cave room was clean, very comfortable with large single beds lots of space. It was in the center of Goreme and hence very close to the open air museum. Best of all was owner, Mr. Serdar, who was genuinely very helpful with advice and other arrangements.

The manager can be a bit pushy with tours, if you book tours yourself he is not so nice, but other staff very nice.

My friends and I decided to spend a holiday in Cappadocia and reserved the hotel Caravanserai Cave Hotel in Goreme for a week. We were completely satisfied with this choice and week held in was fantastic. Perfect location in the city center , original , beautiful and comfortable rooms and a wonderful terrace with stunning views can not fail to charm everyone. Very friendly staff always ready to help with any question. We knew little about Cappadocia and we just got lucky when we met Oruc Celik (owner) . Immediately after booking Oruc sent confirmation and proposals for transfer and willingness to provide full tourist information . Oruc arranged for us interesting routes and spent with us some excellent tours. He is a native of this place and everyone can feel that he loves his land . Oruc spent with us the tour to the underground city Tatlarin and also to Ihlara Valley. Kindly offered to get to Goreme Open Air Museum and also provided his car for the exploring the nearby sigths. A hot air balloon tour was just awesome!!! It should be noted very friendly and helpful team . Miju (possibly I don't write correctly the name) spent with us tour to Pigeon Valley and Rose Valley, well-versed and always ready to help. His friend ( unfortunately I do not remember the name ) always perfectly met us at the restaurant , offered to sit on the terrace . We would gladly recommend this hotel to our friends!

This is the perfect budget cave hotel to stay if you're in Goreme for the hiking and the cave tours. The hospitable and helpful owner, friendly staff made my holidays unforgettable. If you book all your activities in the hotel you'll be given some discounts. The rooms are clean and cozy. I enjoyed the great view from terrace, especially in the evening. It has the great location very close to the centre, restaurants and bus station. Highly recommended.

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Cappadocia. It was in a great location and our room was spacious and clean. Oruc, the owner was very friendly and helpful and went out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed. He even helped us to book a hire car and accommodation for the next stage of our trip.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Caravanserai. The hotel is not fancy but very comfortable, cosy and well situated, being a short walk from the main street of the town and the bus stop. The breakfast was a very good spread including: cereal, fruit, bread, eggs, cheese, yogurt, tomatoes and cucumbers and an endless supply of tea and coffee. The breakfast room is located on a roof-top terrace with impressive views of the village. The Manager was a genuine, friendly and relaxed guy, who made you feel very welcomed. He was able to provide an enormous information about Goreme and Cappadocia in response to our numerous questions, there is nothing that he did not seem to know! He was able to organise tours for us and suggest activities we could do ourselves. He also give us a lift to some of the valleys a little further out of town so we could walk them ourselves. Our only regret is that we did not have more time. I reckon you need a good four days for Cappadocia. Look no further than Caravanserai, it must be the best place to stay when in Goreme!

    - Everything matched with all the facility description. - Impressive with all-day hot-water and all-day heating facility. - Hotel host could help you all your favour.

    - Nothing dissatisfied, but it'd better to keep eye on your choice.
