The location was fantastic, a couple minutes from all of the sultanahmet sites as well as a ten minute walk to one of the ferry docks. The room was spacious and included a bathroom, a washing machine and kitchenette. The staff was friendly and timely.

They had us change rooms about an hour after we checked in with no explanation to an identical room. They only came in to clean once during a 3 night stay. When they did come in- they didn't clean anything just dropped off clean towels and halfhazardly pulled the sheets up without making the bed.

    1. Location is superb, almost all historical places (Basilica Cistern, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi, Blue Mosque, Hippodrome, Gulhane Park, Grand Bazaar etc) merely 5-10 minutes walk away. 2. Staff unbelievably nice & cooperative, but have limited resources. 3. Wonderful Hammam available just one min walk away across the road in Istanbul hotel. The price is modest (as compared to other Hammams in SultanAhmet) & service rejuvenating.

    1. Lift is awfully small, to some extent scary. Literally more than 3 can't board. 2. Breakfast is a big disappointment. 3. God forbid if fire starts in this hotel there is no escape route planned.

Perfect location, very close to Agia Sophia, Blue mosque, Basilica Cisterna, restaurants, tram station. All the above within a max 5 min walk. Hotel staff is friendly and helpful although they give an impression of amateurs. The food served at the restaurant is good and cheaper than the rest of the area. The rooms were spacious, with tv, wifi available but not fast, enough for email and some browsing. Bathroom was decent and clean with hot water all day. We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights for 55€/night which is a very reasonable price for the area and the quality of service. From my personal view, 65- 70€/night depending on the season is a limit for this hotel if you just want a nights sleep after an exhausting day of sightseeing .

Breakfast is poor (bread, boiled eggs, tomato, cucumber, olives, cheese, tea (coffee is extra cost)) but healthy and enough for a days start. Our room was never made and had to ask for clean towels and toilet paper. Room was not clean (dust on furniture and hand stains on cabinets). Small balcony on the 2nd floor with no view.

Location of hotel very near to basilica sistern, Hagia Sophia and blue mosque. Sultanahmet tram is just 5 minutes walk. Plenty of restaurant, supermarket also within walking distance. Staff is great ( mr. Nuri, mehmet, Dennis and hotel manager Mr. Tuncay), they are really helpfull and kind. The hotel have cooking and washing facilities really help me who travel with small kids. The room also big and the 5th floor room really great because have view to Hagia Sophia from your bed and room window. Bfast can be serve directly to your room base on request since the bfast will be ala Cart style. The price for this hotel also reasonable as per their standards. As a summary I like the hotel much due to it's staff, location, value of money and facilities (kitchen and washing machine provided). Me and my family really feel like we are in our home.

For people who expecting a 5 star hotel this is not the hotel. It can be consider as 3 star hotel but it should be because the price is cheap and reliable. The lift very small where only 1 lift available and only 3 person should be in at one time, but because it's only have 5 floor only, I use the stair to go down or make two trip. If overload the lift might settle little bit when reaching your floor. The hotel doesn't have buffet and the bfast serve is same everyday ( so don't expect to have choice of food). The kitchen utensils provided very basic ( you need to be prepare if you intend to cooks in the hotel). Hotel furniture and finishing is old.

Istanbul is great for family vacation. Go to Forum Istanbul Mall which has a simulator that shows the whole city. Is good as a starter and then move to Old city.

We rent a car and I liked the fact that the hotel is near the entrance that works at night.. because cars are prohibited at night to enter old city but luckily the only entrance that makes an exception at night is next to the hotel... Staff is awesome but the hotel sucks, is old and small. however if you want to enjoy outside and not inside then is ok. BTW internet is ok, not awesome to watch a movie but enough to send mails at a modest speed.

The hotel is located close to all the tourist attractions and the rooms are large and clean. Breakfast on the small upstairs terrace was great. The staff are friendly and helpful. Although it was advertised as having a fully equipped kitchen, there was very little crockery and cutlery but we were provided with extra when requested.

Handy location near St. Sofia, tramway etc.

We were disappointed in several ways. Firstly, we had to spend the first night in another hotel (Han) a few doors down because the management claimed a problem with the toilet in the room, but we suspect overbooking. Han was of a lower status than the Adrien. Secondly, the promised baby bed did not appear until the final night of our stay. Thirdly, many of the promised features of the room (eg bath, balcony) did not exist - the cooker did not work and there were almost no utensils. The bathroom was fairly basic. We challenged the owner about these problems. He eventually offered a tiny reduction on the bill, but didn't seem to understand that he had not provided what we had paid for. He said that we already had a discount by using and so we had to accept what we were given.

location walking distance to Topkapi palace, aya sofia, blue mosque, basilica cistern, grand bazaar...

They made us pay for the entire stay when we arrived and then they tell us that there is a problem with our room. And we had to stay the first night in a room on top of a carpet shop nearby. I did not like this kind of attitude, collecting the money first and then giving the bad news
