Very friendly staff good atmosphere. We had a great stay!
Aesthetic quality of the hotel, Warm welcome, Every staff interaction was super kind, Helpful with tourist info/activities, Comfortable rooms, Hotel is in a little cache that is comfortably away from the hustle and bustle. Even without a car: taxis are very reasonably priced.
Reminder: in caves the walls can be chalky. This is part of the charm, not truly a negative. Air circulation could be better in terms of keeping the room cool.
The Hotel is beautiful! Very cosy, friendly staff, stunning view over the valley. The rooms are impeccable and brand new ! I highly recommend this place! You can relax after a long day of visting the region. Try the Red wine from Cappadoccia they serve there.
the host is very helpful and nice. They are ready for helping us all the time. And the atmosphere is very nice, too. Food is simple but made with hearts and cares. :D
Maybe location. But we have tour with us. So the car will pick us up everyday. All in all. It is wonderful.
The boutique hotel is beautiful, next to a luxury place with the indoors decorations. We had our best breakfast and the best dinner in our trip in Turkey. The decoration and design of the place has a elaborated taste.
The town is a far from the main touristic attractions, eventhough the agencies go to pick you up, you'd have to wake up like 20 minutes earlier than the rest to get there at the same time.
The owner is helpful, helped me to call the balloon flight company in the early morning. As I had waited long for the shuttle bus from balloon flight to pick me up. The room is comfortable and clean
by mistake,I booked 2 night stay in this hotel instead of one night. I wish to cancel the second night stay, But the owner said it's impossible and I have to pay the full payment of 2 night. At last I pay 2 night But stayed only one night No English communication, we use translator app in the mobile to communicate. The hotel is just too far to reach the main attraction, eventhough there are many frequent bus to the town
The atmosphere, the staff and owner. We were put in a new room, versus a 'true' cave room, and it was beautiful, with a great view. The site is charming and Oya went out of her way to help us, phoning friends who spoke english to help us, or book tours and ballon trip with her. She always got us a good value. The food is great, and there is a home cooked dinner at night you can join. (best to let them know in the morning $10 pp and worth it). We ate all nights there and its so cozy. Oya is a Great Cook. It is at communal tables so you can visit with other guests. The last day we just hung out in the small town and walked the hills, all by ourselves. Really was a highlight.
Getting there from the airport was tricky for us. Call or email Red Valley travel and book Shuttle with them ahead of time. Your name must must be on a list to get on shuttle, or you're on a taxi at more than triple the cost.
Panoramic view.. Terrace.. Hospitality.. Authentic Rooms..
the owner was not only friendly in a commercial way - his hospitality was even bigger! I burned a hole in a towel with a candle and he received this message calmly. And he served me a supper when I arrived late telling him, that I am hungry - it was a gift! I have never met such a wonderful host...
nothing to complaint - but a hint: take a lighter not matches for candles, the cave rooms are slightly moist!
Very happy with the stay (2 nights; 2 rooms); very clean outside and inside the room, very comfortable, very quiet (village outside Urgup), large rooms; friendly, polite & very available staff; beautiful small cave-like hotel (we do not like crowds); for such a small hotel and for such a price in the area (as of summer 2013), good and fresh breakfast and even a dinner proposed at night; hotel 5-10 minutes on foot from downtown (various restaurants available)
These are details since we are very happy with our stay; small bathroom and huge bedroom (could have used a smaller room and bigger bathroom) -also lacks night stands and lamps; small cold breakfast would benefit from warm dish (1 day over 2 we were offered omelet); the dining room is also the office and living room, so it is quite small (gets crowded if people from the 10 rooms available in the hotel eat at once on a rainy day; on a warm morning, the patio can be used and is quite nice); only a single dish dinner is offered at night; Location confusing: for people thinking they will stay in Urgup downtown (and who may not have a car), this hotel is outside Urgup, in a suburb village called Mustafapasa
