Hotel Centrum Istanbul

We were told that we could redeem the kdv (Turkish tax) as we are non- residents. When we attempted to do so at the Airport, suddenly the attendant at the desk spoke very bad English and we were told that it was not possible.

Hotel location is good and rooms are clean .

Hotel management are not cooperative, especially Suzan is very bad personal

The only thing that happened that was awkward was that one afternoon I came back about 4 pm, it was a cold rainy day and I wanted to change my clothes before dinner. My friend went up to the room with me and the hotel called and said it was a problem because I only paid for a single. Then, later at the Hotel desk they scolded him in Turkish (he is Turkish). It was strange and awkward.

It's our 2nd time in this hotel in winter time and for this time it's real value for money. The rooms have good size, the baths are renewed, the staff is friendly, the breakfast is superb, the location is excellent. We asked for a room at the back side (no view) because it's quiet and we don't need view but good sleep. We will come next year again!

Our room was next to the staff lift and you can hear it (specially the cables banging) but it's not too bad.

Good and free Wifi

Dirty towels , noisy neighborhoods , crowded Hotel ; about 12 rooms in each roof, very poor breakfast , they tried to take money from me more than my deal through booking.com .

That was a good place to stay in for couple of days, convenient location, clean room, breakfast okay, special thanks to Suzan Gökyaprak for hospitality and doing her best! Hope to come back to Hotel Centrum again soon.

Very confortable and well located hotel. Staff are really helpful and cheerful. Hotel rooms are really clean.The restaurant is located on the top floor and offers spectacular views of the city. Final recommendations that this hotel is Highly Recommended!

The location is great, within walking distance of the monuments. The staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean. Breakfast spread has fresh fruits.

Perfect location, everything was so close, good food, the rooms could be cleaner, very good staff service...

The rooms could be cleaner, finding parking space was very problematic - a true nightmare....

no ironing facilities in the hotel,poor breakfast,there is no Tea and Coffee Maker in the room

Front desk staff "lady" want to to sell her tour package before taking my check-in at the hotel. Those who wants to buy tour packages and if you are not tired, please bear with that rude lady.

It took half an hour to find a hotel location while it was raining. I booked double room but they give me triple room with 3 seperate beds. Me, my wife and my 8 month old baby was sleeping in seperate beds which is very noisy. Water leakage from the airconditioning and the response from reception was "this is how it goes". No linen change and the housekeeping start banging and noisy in corridors from 6am until 1pm. Very noisy neighbours....etc...etc...etc.. 300 words is not enough to describe the whole stay. I will never recommend anyone to stay except backpackers.

The staff on recepcion are not correct. The rooms are so small.

The location of Hotel Centrum is perfect for a city break.Easy access to all places of interest.The tram stop just at the end of the road was two minutes walk.Finally the staff at the hotel were wonderful, nothing too much trouble and they spoke perfect English.We will definately visit again.

-great location; -very clean hotel.

-old furniture in the room, could be renewed; -doors and walls were probably very slim, because I could hear any noise outside my room and especially the elevator door. Small advise: ask for a room as far as possible from the elevator.
