The hotel is a great choice. I'm glad I chose it during my stay in istanbul. Its within 5 mins walk to taksim where all the restraunts and shopping is. I was upgraded to a junior suit which was amazing. I recommend this hotel. 5

The Hotel is very well furnished, marble finishing is very nice, it's very quiet & relaxing place, the room was very comfortable and well equipped. The checkin process was very annoying it took long time to get me in although I had given them my arrival time, at check out I found some expeses added to my account with justification from them so I needed to revise it to get my actual expenses/

Having a room at the 12th floor, it was amazing to see the city view especially at night... It was my first trip to istanbul and by staying at Ceylan Intercontinental, I made it possible to walk in the evening and night in taksim area, from cafes to shops... Of course not to forget the comfort inside the room especially by having my loved man next to me :)

I really enjoyed my stay so much. I am a frequent traveler to Istanbul and always stayed at the Marmara Taksim, even this time I reserved there but due to not welcoming me, downgrading me and giving me the ugliest room in there hotel. I cancelled my reservation, lost one night and booked again in Ceylan Intercon. There is a huge difference, I have changed to Cylan forever. I would like to thank the whole staff they are so professional they know what they do and they really make you feel at home with a lot of comfort. I think paying eu 575/night for a Deluxe Double Room with Sea View is really so much, even in Moscow you cant find these rates. I think the main reason is that a lot of Gulf Arabs are there with large numbers , specially after the feast vacation where many are still there.

When our child fell sick, the hotel made an appointment at the nearest hospital. We liked the fact that hotel kept track of our child's progress and were very responsive to our requests for a change of room.

View on the Bridge and the Bosphorus (even if "cut" by another hotel) The sky bar : great view all over the city Very close (5 min by foot) to Taksim square and Istiklal street (shopping) Very good concierge (all information within a very short time) : competent and efficient ! no brush to clean the wc :(

The hotel is maybe not very up-to-date with regard to furniture, services, etc. but it is definitely a luxus hotel. The room is good and silent. Breakfast is good and varied, maybe just a bit boring for me. The pool is okay. We had after all a pleasant stay at the hotel. A good part of the staff do not keep up to the hotel standards: lousy English or no English at all spoken, not very understading of the clients' needs. I said a part of the staff, not all. Then they had construction works going on on the roof and they said nothing to us when checking-in, noise was unbearable, we had to ask to change our room and they did provide us with an appropriate room far away from the noise sources.

Everything was great.Rooms spacious and always clean .The service for the rooms was 3 or 4 times a day and continuous supply of water(free). Reception staff friendly and helpful.An excellent choice for our 5day trip to Istanbul.The shopping center only a few minutes walking away. Although they had been notified for our late afternoon arrival one of the two rooms took one hour to get ready.

The hotel is very well located; it’s away from the Taksim noise yet only a minute’s walk to the business heart of Istanbul. The reception was perfect and we got an early check-in at 10:00 and they even gave us a room on a high floor with partial Bosphorus view upon our request. The breakfast was also good. All this made us wish we had stayed longer as we only had booked one night with the hotel. The only downside was the standard rooms being a bit cramped and the beds which were not big enough for anyone taller than 6 feet!

Spacious room with good view, excellent staff and service. The roof top restaurant and bar was closed for renovation, the Bistro was closed on an evening leaving limited dining facilities. We should have been advised of the renovation work going on although where we were located it hardly affected.

The house keeping is perfect and honest my dougher forgot 100 lira at the room and when we came back we found it beside the TV folded. 1. Check in took 25 min which is unaccepted by anymeans specially I am priority club memmber. 2. I asked for 2 connected rooms I found two connected rooms but not the ones I saw the picture while booking and there was a sofa blocking the connected door from both sides!!! After struggling with the front office desk I changed the rooms but not connected. 3. I asked for smoking rooms they placed me in non smoking floor. 4.the variety of food and quality is less than expected and prices are toooo hight. 5.all services at concierge are offered with extremely higher prices than the actual cost such as bosphore cruise 80 euros per person while I paid 4 euros!! Taxi to zoo asked for 700 euros while actual price 120 euros......etc

The hotel location, the Arabic TV channels and the breakfast. The staffs are annoying as they entered our room 3-4 times using their hotel cards (during our 2 nights stay) and we were shocked from seeing them entering our rooms directly to ask us if we need room servicing or to check the minibar!!! The reception staff are not smiling and seems as if they are not welling to receive queries from the customers about the hotel.

I would like to thank the entire hotel staff for the excellent service. There was a regular follow up on how we feel during our stay & if at all we needed anything.This is actually why I choose to come back here. I will recommend the hotel for anybody who wishes to have a pleasant stay.
