everything about aida was fantastic, me and my husband were on our honeymoon and enjoyed every moment of our holiday. x
The room was neat and clean and the reception staff were nice.
The other hotel staff kept touting their respective trades which was very annoying. We said no, and they kept asking us to go to the hammam or the barber and when we said we would go outside they told us it would be poor quality and the same price. They were wrong on both quality and price. The techno music pumped until midnight every night. The food was way over priced; for example: 3.50 lira for çay tea is 200% more than a top rated restaurant! The hotel is full of overweight English tourists who are burnt to a crisp and want nothing else than to abuse the area. I would not stay here ever again.
The location of this hotel is ideal, a ten minute walk to the beach front with all the shops, bars, beach and restaurants. But as it is set back from the hustle and bustle you do get a good nights sleep. The pool area is large with lots of sunbeds, which have thick cushions on them. Rooms are spacious, and comfy. Food is really good and reasonably priced. Hairdresser on site is brilliant, Reggie and his gang are very good.
The pool is very deep, and as a non swimmer found that I could only stand or sit on the steps at the edge of the pool as there is no shallow end. But this would be my only gripe, and it did not stop me from cooling off in the huge pool.
Great place only five minutes walk from the seafront and shops. Great self catering apartments with a microwave. Maid service excellent cleared my washing up every day. Entertainment funny. Chuckle entertainment manager works really hard. Slides great for kids too. Lovely pool size too.
You are not allowed to take your own drinks or snacks around the pool area which can be awkward at times as the waiter drinks service around the pool could be slow sometimes. Also kids prefer to eat stuff from home.
Staff very friendly, helpfull and welcoming.Hotel spotless. Entertainment excellent.Spa brilliant. Would definately recommend.
Spacious - Kitchenette with sitting room Balcony Very clean Quiet part of town Looks good from outside Pool is large
Need a special card to pay for anything - which would be fine but you have to load the card with cash to use (i.e., have to figure out how much you might use in advance). Rude front desk personnel Internet doesn't work in the room Party at the restaurant every night - no room service option, so you must endure a DJ trying to get you up there to do karaoke No shampoo (typical in this part of the world, but for a supposedly "upscale" place they should have it) Curtains thin in the room No sheets - some weird blanket thing No A/C remote - doesn't turn on - so you must sleep with the window open if you want air (and listen to loud music from the restaurant) No extra pillows Old towels Kind of far from everything - two buses needed to get there from the station - better to be in city center poor layout - need walk all the way around the back from the street Everything smells like smoke Seems like they are nickle and diming people for everything
Most normal things
The hotel should be called club noise. The 3 stick thin entertainment team, dancing all day to loud music was a real turn off. Will not be going again
Excellent hotel..... Kids loved ot already booking for 2014
I have been to marmaris 4 times before and this was the best hotel by far clean nice staff beautifuly presented good food the list is endless
I have been at the Club Aida once before and think it is a great value for money hotel. The staff are always pleasant and nothing is too much trouble for them. The rooms are spotless and cleaned on a daily basis.
The food this year was not hot when it came to your table this. could be dealt with. Also and I think this is just an age thing the music at the pool side bar is a bit dated and repetitive also too loud some days.
The cleanliness of the hotel.
Cold food. Predominantly British clientele
Staff were really unhelpful on a number of occasions and quite rude. Didn't follow through on our request to have rooms close to each other. Had to pay extra fo air-conditioning
