Historical setting, beautiful courtyard
Although advertised as having WiFi it was for the most part not working over the two day period that we were there. We were able to use the computer in the office but that was nowhere near as convenient.
Excellent location. You can easily reach anywhere in Kusadasi by foot (or a 5 minute minibus ride to reach Ladies Beach). The hotel is really beautiful and has a inspiring architecture, with a incredible courtyard. Helpful staff.
Breakfast started almost an hour after the stated time (everyday). The courtyard is used to host a Turkish night dinner and show but it only happens on Fridays (low season). However, during the week, they rented the space for a wedding! Yes, a full party with loud music and laughs (impossible to sleep!)
Possition of hotel presance and ambiance freindly and helpful staff
The building, location, staff and food in fact everything about Club Caravanserail is an exceptional experience not to be missed.
Nothing except we could only stay one night because of our travel plans.
Location Hotel ambience
Slow breakfast service
The Club Caravenserail is an ideal place to enjoy the serenity of a middle age seetting in the middle of a hectic touristic town. We enjoyed this very much, especially the meals in the courtyard.
The Club Caravanserail is clearly not a luxury hotel as noted in our travel guide (ADAC). It has come a bit into age, and rennovations would help to keep the high standards of the past.
The staff were very professional and were eager to assist us with our needs. We knew of a wedding taking place in the atrium but enjoyed the cultural education. It was loud and the rooms are not well insulated for sound but we had a wonderful experience.
O our whole trip the highlight was our stay in this fabulous hotel Club Caravanserail. On arrival we were immediately upgraded to the Suite and were given the best seats on Turkish Night. The owner of the hotel is very loving person, he loved our twins and joined us on their first birthday and arranged for a small cake cutting ceremony. The staff was very attentive and sweet and would provide service even if the shift has just closed. The room was fantastic and huge and bathrooms were also well equipped. Overall the staff and our stay at the hotel was superb and an experience we will never forget. Thanks to Mr. Ali.
Besides being close to the seafront and to a lively market this very old resting place for caravans is impressive and imponent. Breakfast offers a wide variety of items.
The adapted shower box could be a little more spacious. The stair steps are huge.
Superb setting inside an old ottoman caravansarai. Close to everything in town. The courtyard ia begging for a nice leasurely sitdown over a cup of tea with friends. Very romantic setting, good for group of friends or for a romantic stay.
The building and location are really beautiful, and it is easy to get around
It's really run down...especially for the amount paid. Furniture, bedding, even the towels looked worn out.
It was located within easy reach of all teh facilities of kusadasi
There were a lot of issues with this place: * They did not advertise that this place does not have an elevator * The stairs are old-fashoned (great feel for an old place) but a nightmare for those travelling with Children since the steps are very high * The A/C noise kept us awake the first night we checked in. This was fixed on request the next day * The washrooms are an add-on to the original rooms, and hence are very, very tight on space * The Double room is actually the size of a single room with a bed which can hardly fit 2 people * The bed was really low so it was hard to get up from it * The TV had only 6 channels on it and it is placed way up on the wall. Overall, poor location for Family with kids and older people.
Nice accomodation in the very center of Kusadasi; helpful staff.
The hotel is sited in an historical and beautiful building, just in the heart of Kusadasi.
Room is spacious but with old furniture (old, not antique). The worst bed I slept in Turkey, with bad mattress and awful pillows. Bathroom is tiny maybe because it was inserted in the room after construction.
