It is nicely situated, clean and good Quality. The staff gave me very good advise how to get around.

The streets in this area are not the best. Better you go there with a backpack. If you want to improve something then maybe darker curtains. At the day I was there I had problems with the Wifi.

Great. We loved the way we were welcomed and the service in the apartment was fantastic. The location is not not close to Sultanahmet but to be honest this is a great plus as the area around the apartment is really vibe and arty and there is a fantastic restaurant "Otto" close to the apartment. We loved our stay here.

The rooms overlook the back of a building that looks very run-down but not a major issue.

Lots of little restaurants and shops close by. It was equidistant from the centre Taksim Square and the Old section with mosques and cistern. Loved the airconditioning. Really appreciated early check in. Also appreciated the cleaning every 2 days.

Wi Fi often not working, Unit not clean when arrived. Curtain fell down, lights blinked when turned off, bathroom water damaged.

Location was good. Easy (relatively as Beyoglu is on hills!) access to amenities such as grocery stores, bakeries, coffee shops and restaurants. The train / team was also a 10 minute walk away. I didn't see the renovated rooms, but if they were like the lobby, should be nice.

While one entire building was fully updated and renovated, the two bedroom we got was in a next door building in a tight knit compound. It was totally dated. The furniture was sort of new but the unit was stuck in the 70s. The bathroom was in worst shape with the small shower cubicle with broken glass doors, tiles that needed to be re-grouted (awful black stuff lining in between tiles). There were no elevators and the saving grace was the willingness of the staff to just carry all our heavy luggage up to our apartment willingly. The surprise also came at the check in when they preferred (sort of insisted) that payment be done in cash.

I loved the area, its within walking distance to taksim sq and istaklal street, but you're not in the middle of the noise buzz and there is perfect silence at night! Few steps away from cafes, restaurants and grocery stores. The staff are super friendly and treat u with courtesy worth 5 stars. They let me check in before 10am and were there for every question or request. Definitely comig again. Thanks! ;)

Very nice and helpful staff, the hotel location was perfect and peaceful, close to Taksim Square and the tram station (Tophane) is nearby. The Flat was well appointed, clean and comfortable. We'll definitely stay there again in Istanbul.

Thanks a ton to my dear friend, Eren, the manager of Cozy flats for giving us the best. His support and assistance was always available throughout the stay, bringing the feel of home away from home. The lady staffs were also too supportive and guided us well. I would surely visit the apartment again and will ask my friends also to select cozy for their turkey visits.

    Nothing in fact at all.

Wow- what a fantastic place. After the plethora of hills you'll be waking up- this place is an oasis. Think Nordic modern simplicity, with comfort. Very trendy, new and relaxing. Wonderful bathrooms, elevators and balconies. Not like in the images but better. Very close to a great après drinks street and easy to navigate to cosy Sunday breakfast venues.

The staff were helpful (giving directions to the taxi driver who couldn't find the place) and tried to be accommodating (arranging laundry service even though it's not normally offered). Good location if you want to be close to nice restaurants and bars. The tourist sites are a bit further away, but public transport options within a 10 minute walk are available. The studio room was spacious and had a good shower/bathroom.

Poor wifi connection in room. We noticed drinks were disappearing from our minibar fridge each day. While the drinks were included in the cost of the room, this was still concerning. We didn't notice anything else go missing.

Rarely have I felt so lucky with choosing a hotel abroad. The location was the best possible for our tastes - in a quiet street in the very heart of romantic, artsy Cihangir. As already mentioned by fellow travellers, the area is quite hilly, which could be a slight inconvenience for people with mobility issues, but the affordable local taxis can take you to the doorstep of Cozy Flats, if you know how to explain - as it turned out, the key reference point for Istanbul cabbies is "Italian Hastanesi" - the Italian Hospital nearby. From there, you have to guide the driver for a further 100 yards or so. The hotel is an easy and very enjoyable walk away from Taksim Square and Istiklal on one side and Istanbul Modern Art Museum on the other (towards the Bosphorus). The entire area is sprinkled with small cafes and eateries (wrote a separate review for the wonderful Cafe Lumiere on the back of Cozy Flats, a great find), greengrocers and inimitably welcoming, authentic shops and galleries. This seems to be the preferred district of local intellectuals and artists. Still, it is very peaceful, at day and night. We arrived at Cozy Flats earlier than expected (at 11 am) and received a warm welcome by a smiling young man (Eren, if I remember correctly) who invited us into the inner courtyard/cafe - a shaded open-air extension of the breakfast room, adorned with potted flowers. There we were served as a compliment delicious Turkish coffee with lokum (Turkish delight). Eren offered us some useful advice on public transport around Istanbul, the main tourist sights, gave us a map and drew a few routes for our first day in this vast megapolis, all the time with a sincere friendly smile. The flat itself (2nd floor of the new building) surpassed our expectations. Before we went upstairs, we were wondering if it could comfortably accommodate all four of us, but it turned out to be spacious and smartly designed for privacy, with every possible convenience.

The apartment is on a quiet, residential street but trendy restaurants are around the corner along with local grocery stores. It's a 10 minute walk to Istiklal and 15 to the Galata tower. We loved every minute of our stay.

What was a plus for us (being in a residential, non touristic area) can be a minus for some people. If you want to be a few steps from the historical sites it's not the place for you.

The neighborhood where it is located is fabulous, with very nice little shops and places where to eat.

Breakfast at 9 euros. You can find very nice little places just outside where to have breakfast with 3 euros.

A modern, renovated and small hotel in a very desirable location in the new town area. Our room was clean, comfortable and well appointed...although the coffee, tea, water etc was not replenished after the first day of our 5 night stay which was disappointing for the price paid. Also our room was not cleaned at all one day with no explaination given! The staff were all extremely helpful and obliging.

Wifi was very patchy and often dropped out. We didn't partake of the breakfast provided for 9 Euro per person( which seemed expensive considering what was available locally) so can't comment as to how worth while it was. Also.... The shuttle to the airport at 20 Euro per person was an expensive option... Considering some hotels offer free shuttle for stays of 3 nights or more a bit disappointing.

We stayed in an apartment with a nice terrace and it was amazing! I loved the place, elegant, new, fancy and well located. Staff were very nice and helpful.

Breakfast is not included, which it's usually the case in Turkey!

Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. They went the extra mile like ordering cabs, watching out for them and letting us know on arrival. The freshness, warmth and class of the facilities. 24 hour service

The staff, in particular Erhan and Eren were most helpful. Because my mother had suffered a bad fall at our previous hotel, she couldn't climb the stairs to the apartment we had booked so we were immediately re-allocated to the ground floor and charged less as a result. Everyone was most helpful and kind to my mother which was greatly appreciated. We were able to check in at 9am, not the published 2pm (prior notice given). The surrounding area was buzzing and cosmopolitan with good cafes to eat out or supermarkets to self-cater and it was central to the "new" area of Istanbul, close to Taxsim Square. Taxis were readily available about 50 yards up the street. The apartment was comfortable with plenty of room and a large private terrace outside. I can definitely recomment these apartments to other travellers.

The wifi connection in our room was poor but great in the reception area.
