Swimming pool and Hammam! The guided tour offered by the hotel was very dishonest - we advise very strongly not to use it! The transfer from the airport was very expensive while other hotels offer them for free. The staff in the restaurant during the breakfast was not efficient enough. The area around the hotel was a bit run down. |

The hotel was conveniently located near a tram stop which took one to major attractions such as Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque and the Topkapi Museum within three or four stops. After requesting transport and having our request acknowledged, being left stranded at the airport at 2am because the hotel office is shut on a Sunday and didn't process our request. The truculence of the person who was supposed to handle this and the downright rudeness and obstuctionism of the under-manager when we requested to see her. Blaming the client for not reading the small print tucked away on an addendum to an email when important information about the fact that the booking office would be shut on a Sunday (we thought that top-class hotels operated 24/7) should have been in the body of the email. Simply not good enough. |

The service was very good. Everybody would go out of their way to help you. And it was in a convenient location. The room was small. |

Breakfast buffet: abundant food and good variety and quality 1. Location is ok mostly for people going there for shoping, particularly clothing wholesale; 2. Poor wifi Internet signal in room; 3. Restaurant waiters need training to serve properly, accordingly to the intended level of the hotel; 4. Very noisy location, inside room included (room facing main street) |

Extreme comfort, supplemented with good location, and a great opportunity to walk to the bazaar or sultanahment daily, thus providing one with adequate exercise - of course, if one does notwant to walk the hotel is situated on the tram line which can take you anywhere in Istanbul! |

The hotel design and architecture is unique and staffs are reasonably nice and helpful. Rooms are very clean and are cleaned daily. The breakfast is fair but pretty much the same every day which is fine because it offers good variety of choices. The hotel is located in walking distance from Sultanahmet area. It is also very easy to catch metro/tram from the hotel to different parts of Istanbul including airport. Over all I should say we had a nice stay in Crowne Plaza Istanbul and we will probably come back. Some of the rooms are facing the street side and could get a bit noisy. We didn't have a problem with that but I could see some people might mind it. The pool size, lighting and location do not match with the standard of the hotel. The extra services that hotel offers such as shuttle transfer to/from the airport is a complete rip off. you can find the same service with 1/2 to 1/3 of the price if you have a little extra time and patience. |

the room was a bit small but for a city trip where you don't spend much time in the hotel, all you want is cleanliness and comfort. the location was convenient and the rate was v good. pillows v comfortable too! at first we were given a smoker's room. yuk! we asked to change and were given a non-smelly room. |

The hotel was excellent, clean and comfortable, friendly and helpful staff. Good location next to tram though you can walk to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Grand Bazaar and Resturants. All in all, a good spot. |
