Irdidn't like the fact that having booked just a double room I was told that there was also a room booked , with booking com, in the name of my father ,álvaro vasconcelos, I don't know if this was a booking com mistake or an hotel one. I had the impression the problem was with the Hotel. My father did in fact book a room In Crown Plaza, but with another company . |

A very luxury hotel with good price, the spa club is excellent, the sea view is more than faibilous, the breakfast is good. The price of some spa facilities is high, but, it's a luxury hotel and expected. |

Excellent hotel ... away from the city but they have a free shuttle bus to take you to the city and back, there is a bus stop in front of the hotel, or you can rent a bike from the hotel (TL10 per hour). Food is excellent and hotel has free entry to 3 swimming pools (one thermal), spa, sauna, Turkish bath, etc |

The Crowne Plaza is a wonderful comfortable hotel. For the facilities, it is astoundingly competitive to hotels in the center of Izmir. It seems a bit of a distance out of Izmir, but there is an excellent free shuttle with regular trips downtown and to the airport. The highlight is the spa ... a comfortable pool outdoors, thermal pool, hamman and so on. An unexpected highlight was a decommissioned warship and submarine parked at the waterside out front (closed Sunday and Monday) which gives tours. Although the guides' English is limited, and the signage is all in Turkish, it was fascinating to see inside them, especially the submarine. A simple shopping mall next door provides forgotten necessities. The hotel has bike rentals and although we didn't do it, you can ride all the way downtown on a broad pedestrian/biking path. |

Personeel was erg aardig en behulpzaam. Het ontbijdbuffet was uitstekend en de faciliteiten waaronder de Spa en sauna's..etc.. geweldig. Service van en naar het stadcentrum goed geregeld...al met al klasse hotel...zeker voor herhaling vatbaar. De prijzen van huishoudelijke zaken zoals het wassen en het strijken..belachelijk duur. |
