The staff was very helpful. When my friend complained about her room because it smelled like smoke. They moved her to another room. When we arrived we were supposed to have free shuttle service from the airport to the hotel but their was a miscommunication, so they arranged for the shuttle on the return trip to the airport

The rooms are small but clean.

The staff is very polite - right from the reception officer to the housekeeping lady!!! most of the important sightseeing places are 5-15 minutes walking distance from the hotel.

the people at the reception could not find our booking for airport pick-up. After much talking they got it and all was ok. Unfortunately our postcards, which we left for them to post, didn't arrive. Is the post late or did they forget it ?

Great location for the main sights of Istanbul and for public transport to other parts of the city. Most staff friendly and helpful. Lovely views from the rooftop dining room/bar and free tea and coffee offered whenever we were up there.

Our room was tiny and dark and had no view despite having requested a room with a sea view (after having read a review and suggestions on your website). The room was little bigger than the bed, which had to be pushed into the corner of the room and directly under the window, to give any floor space at all. We were staying for a whole week but had nowhere to store clothes except for some coat hooks on the wall and a couple of tiny drawers. When we requested a change we were told that all the rooms for a couple were as small. This wasn't true as we saw some much bigger rooms. A promise to move us mid-week never happened - we didn't pursue this as our holiday was almost finished by then.

A receptionist at daytime was not honest. A bad smell in bathroom(maybe not from us...). Expensive compared to the quality of service and facility. Sorry to write, but we never visit again.

Good location close to attractions, friendly staff, well-appointed room for price, very clean, excellent buffet breakfast included.

It's right next door to a mosque so you get wakened at dawn every day by the (very loud, prolonged) call to prayer. This happens all over the city, though, so there's probably no escape from it wherever you stay!

The friendliness of the satff, particularly at the reception made the stay enjoyable. The room was extremely comfortable with fantastic views with Sokullu Mehmet Pasha Mosque.The room is really clean.

great staff, excellent location, great terrace view and good rooms. great location for people who like Sultan Ahmed in Istanbul. Great location for all historic locations. more than 3 star hotel.
