Housed in a stylishly renovated Ottoman building, the Hippodrome Hotel offers beautiful views of the Blue Mosque and Marmara Sea. It is just over a quarter mile from the Grand Bazaar.

Emine Sultan is just feet from the Blue Mosque, in Sultanahmet. It features modern rooms in a traditional wood building with a roof-top terrace offering panoramic views of the Bosporus.

Perfect location, very close to Istanbul Old City. Staffs are very friendly and helpful.
Rooms are small
Very nice room, extremely clean and quiet. Very friendly, young and helpful staff. They go out of their way to help you. The breakfast at the top terrace is the best way to start the morning. Nice variety of buffet, too. My favored place when in Istanbul.
It's a pity that there is no street-bar and that the restaurant is inside-only. However, there is plenty of other choices nearby.
Location, comfort of room, very nice bathroom, superb breakfast with great views, easy-going friendly staff who were helpful as well.
Bathroom power kept going out during the day. I might suggest that you open the terrace evenings to sit and watch the sun set - maybe have a couch and chair with coffee table in a corner up there in addition to the tables and chairs for dining. Overall, a great stay - thank you!
My room was very clean and comfortable. It was very hot during my stay in Istanbul and the air con was perfect: quiet and made the room chill quickly. Front desk staff was extremely helpful, thanks. My only issue was the breakfast: coffee was cold, scrambled eggs cold, so I called someone to sort this out. They did after a while; however when you only have 3 days to spend in Istanbul you don`t really want to waste your time waiting for your coffee. This is my only complain.
Most helpful staff in this lovely little hotel that I would recommend.
Location -- minutes walk from Blue Nicely laid out room Comfortable bed Mosque and Hagia Sophia Museum Friendly, helpful staff Roof terrace restaurant/bar with gorgeous views Plentiful breakfast with interesting food
Although notionally a deluxe upgrade, the room was just a little on the small side The outside temperature was very hot and although just about adequate, the air-con only went down to 19 Gentle, though obvious selling of river cruise and persistent queries re airport transfer (their rate was double that which we arranged ourselves online)
Beautiful boutique hotel with excellent and helpfull staff and yummy breakfast...
They have a young gentleman named Yusuf working there and he was amazingly helpful. He gave us a recommendation on a very good restaurant and he also spent lots of time giving us suggestions on places to see and directions on how to get there. The Darussaade is also in a fantastic location --it's a short walk to the Blue Mosque & Hagia Sophia.
The electricity in the room doesn't work if you're key isn't in the slot so you can't charge electronics while you are out.
Only a five minute walk to the main square, and at the quieter end of the popular bar/hotel street. The staff were very attentive and eager to help with any questions we had. Special thanks to Yusuf who went out of his way to make our stay a memorable one.
Wonderful hotel with the most friendly and helpful stuff in the best location of Istambul. Definitely to come back someday....
On arrival we were given the traditional tea, sat down with a map and based on our number of days were advised suggested sights to see as well as the opening hours and entry price. We were then able to plan our days accordingly. Yousof was fabulous! Very close to the blue mosque, bazaar, tram station and great restaurants. I highly recommend this hotel.
The location was great for a first-time visitor to Istanbul, and the breakfast spread was pretty good.
The walls, windows and doors were very thin (you can hear toilets flushing and water running in the bathrooms around you.) There is a nice terrace but sadly underused; it would have been great if breakfast were served there instead of in the basement.
Staff could not do enough to make our stay excellent, from explaining what Istanbul had to offer, to arranging tours, and genuinely making us feel so welcome. Would highly recommend, and so convenient for visiting main attractions. Will be going back!
Honestly couldn't fault them.
Front office team excellent especially Jusef
Service on roof top bar was a little less than we would have liked
Very clean, fresh and the location was the best for the sites and convenience. Many great restaurants close by and only a short walk to Saint Sophia and the Blue Mosque. Highly recommended.
Nothing to dislike.
the location is perfect for those who are old city lovers, stuff are friendly and so helpful as well as polite and not to mention the cleanliness level of the hotel is so high.
Perfect location. Comfortable room and beautiful decoration. Warm and kind staff, very considerate and patient, gave me detailed introductions and suggestions, also helped me to arrange tours and to book tickets. Wonderful experience there.
The hotel was very central and close to the popular attractions: blue mosque, cistern, grand bazaar. The room 105 was large and comfortable but as it was on the ground floor it was noisy from reception staff and people out in the street smoking .
The hotel offered a basic breakfast in a basement dining room with no windows. It lacked facilities/ambiance such as a nice longe/bar to relax in and was more a "bed and breakfast" hotel. The bar it had was in a corridor type room and was very unappealing. As in most of the tourist areas the only staff you see are male (apart from a poor female toilet attendant at the grand bazaar who begged for money) and this is a sad indictment of their society . Where are the women?
Pretty much loved it all. Staff was great, warm welcome, great breakfast buffet, beautifully remodeled facility.
Room was small, our only quibble.
Everything was perfect!
The location is excelent, it is near to the best interesting places to visit. His personal is realy friendly, taking care of the gust since the recption till departure.
Friendly staff and a great location. Rooms were very comfortable.
Everything is good
Probably one of the best choices for Istanbul. Very good and quiet location, elegant rooms and friendly staff.
Best hotel breakfast we've had in Europe! They generously upgraded our room because we were traveling with a baby and the crib would take up so much floor space in a regular room.
