Staff , location and the room that has a nice view
The AC was bad some nights we could not sleep because AC was not good in cooling. The wi fi was super slow even I could not sometimes to use google to search. I had to use my mobile data instead
Location, cleaneness, kindness and professionality of the staff. I will recommend to my friends.
The central location of the hotel, the friendly and helpful staff
Booking.com advised us to pay the hotel in the local currency, even though the price was quoted in euros. We spent unnecessary time before we left, changing our cash to Turkish Lira. Also, the hotel did not sell acohol, but this was not mentioned on the booking.com website.
Wonderful central location
Felt that breakfast buffet could have used some cut up fresh fruit and better coffee. Also in 4 days the maitre,D never once smiled or was welcoming- poor for the hospitality business. Everyone else working at hotel was pleasant and helpful. Wash cloth as well as Kleenex would have been appreciated.
The hotel location is the best of all. Deluxe rooms have spectacular view of blue mosque and the bosphorus. The staff are very friendly all of them nice and they speak English. They know the area very well. They have amazing view from the roof during breakfast. Free coffee break from 4 pm to 5 pm. Great experience and best location in sultanaahmet which is the top touristic area. In the area u don't need any taxi to go to the hotel it is in the heart of the area to blue mosque, Aya Sophia, topkapi and grand Bazar. It is also few feet from the train station sultanahmet and the buses and taxis also.
Only WiFi is v slow and TV channels need variety and need English and Arabic channels.
The location is great and the staffs are very helpful. the view with Hagia Sophia and blue mosque are impressively amazing.
interior decoration looks fancy but the quality need to be improved. The restroom are not match with the 4 stars hotel.
Overall Hygenie. My first room caused my skin to itche and burn, though it looked clean from the surface. Once you tuck into bed, you will keep rolling, itching, and crying. Second room was a bit better and bit cleaner. But still, they need to check their cleaning methods and facility. Buy some Ditol, Clorex.
Definitely book a superior double, I got upgraded to a junior suite with views of the Bosporus the blue mosque . Fabulous location great restaurants nearby and close to all the tourist sights but still quiet. Lovely helpful staff. Rooftop restaurant was a fabulous way to start the day.
No real concerns would definitely recommend to friends and return if I go to istanbul again,
Staff were very helpful. Room, although smallish was very comfortable and quiet.Good breakfast on the terrace overlooking Blue Mosque etc.
I stayed for five nights. The terrace view was excellent. Location is great.
Breakfast was ok.
the food and the hotels interior decoration.
It was disappointing that we couldn't use the wifi.
Location Clean Breakfast
Thin walls Poor Wifi
Location is great to explore the historic area of Istanbul. And the view from the roof top terrace was fabulous.
Wifi is there but it is like 10years old modem connection, nothing can be done other than getting Emails.
Perfect location with friendly and helpful staff. The room was a good size, the decoration was decidedly local (bling...) but at least it wasn't the normal bland modern style you can see anywhere. We had a fantastic view of the Blue Mosque, Aya Sofya and the Topkapi Place, all of which were a few minutes walk away.
This is the second time for me in this hotel during the last 3 years. It has a perfect location and close to every thing in Sultanahmet. excellent friendly staff. Breakfast on the terrace is the best.
WiFi needs to be stronger
Location is great
Small room, small bathroom, expensive.
We felt at home.the way we were treated. Starting from our tours, and other services that we asked. Breakfast was very nice. The view from the restaurant very good . I would like to go again in the near future.I have no reservation to recommed this facility to friends relatives.
staff are helpful
Superb location, within walking distance of all three of the most important tourist attractions in Istanbul, namely, the Blue Mosque, Haghia Sophia, and the Topkapi Palace. Major tramway located some 250 meters from hotel entrance. One of the best roof top restaurant locations overlooking the Blue Mosque and Haghia Sophia.Close to major street, along which the tramway runs, where many restaurants and shops can be found. Also located a few hundred meters just off this street is the famous undercover Bazaar with its reputable 4000 stalls.
The hotel appears to be a bit dated, probably because the owners have tried to maintain the décor in the Ottoman style. Whilst the rooms appear to be quite attractive in the Ottoman style they do become a bit over powering after a few days stay. Time for a major modern décor revamp.
Beautiful, luxurious decor, large comfortable bed and an outstanding view if the Blue Mosque. Perfectly situated for a short walk to many of the best sites in Istanbul and the Grand Bazaar. The staff at the hotel were like a happy family and we're always helpful and available. The restaurant was the best place to eat and extremely good value for money. The terrace at the restaurant had a beautiful view of the blue mosque and Istanbul. Hard to beat.
Having to come back home, lol.
Convenient location on hill near The Blue Mosque. Our room had a great view of The Blue Mosque and the Bosphorus. Rooftop restaurant also had great views. Being close to mosque also means the call to prayer around 5am is very loud!!
Staff not very friendly Hotel only provides bottom sheet with a cotton blanket. Had to ask for a top sheet as it was very warm and we preferred not to have air con going.
All is good
We stayed at the hotel for 5 nights in September. I had booked a deluxe room and was not disappointed (comfortable room, with balcony, good sized bathroom with spacious shower cubicle and toiletries included). The location is perfect for visiting places of interest, which are virtually on the doorstep. There is an abundance of reasonably priced restaurants and shops in the immediate vicinity. The Grand Bazaar is a short walk away.Breakfast was good, with a varied selection of hot and cold food, which could be taken on the terrace with great views. We also had a view from our balcony, which was a plus. The staff were always pleasant and helpful. Free tea and coffee (with cakes) available every day in the lobby at 4pm. Excursions could be booked at reception. The hotel offers a shuttle service to and from the airport. We did not use this. Taxis were reasonable (we paid 50 TL each way), and there is a taxi rank close to the hotel which makes hailing a cab easy. Would definitely recommend a stay in Istanbul at this hotel.
The young guy in the reception was very nice and helpful.
We had the worst stay during our trip in Turkey. The room looked nice in pictures but when you saw it in person, you would be disappointed. The room was so small as we anticipated and you were not even given a duvet but only a very thin blacker and it was so unfortable in the first night. However in the second night we were provided as we requested. In addition, the toilet is very tiny and no facial towel provided, the worst thing was the sound proof. We went to sleep quite late around 12:00 pm but the bed was literally just behind the TV from another room, the sound was so disturbing. we would not come back again. The only good thing was the young reception guy was so nice.
