    - It is cheap - rooms are fair - room are cleaned daily (in the afternoon) and really well - breakfast is good - response from hotel staff on issues was prompt - hotel is near Cemberlitas tram station which is 5 mins walk from Sultan Ahmed (central historical) area. you can walk to the center without needing a transport even in hottest days

    - No sea or city view from the room - not the best view from breakfast place (last floor of the hotel)

It was in old city center walking distance to Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern and other areas of interest. The staff were nice.

Top sheets were not provided just thin comforter. The breakfast was a bit lacking.

It's quite easy to move around the old part of Istanbul and the price is quite good. The rooms are excellent value for money!

    Breakfast is not so good

There were bedbugs in the room, the TV didn't work, and the staff was unhelpful at best.

It was really horrible! The building 10 meters away is under reconstruction - they are wrecking a house right in front. Noise! Dust!! And a rat hole in the wall - for a big rat...

This felt like a cheap hotel that was overpriced. The pictures made it seem a lot nicer than it really was and the Internet did not work very well. Truly disappointed.

The hotel was close to the centre of Istanbul and other places of interest such as the Blue Mosque.

It was quite a bit of noise due to building work taking place nearby.

It is nice conveniently located, just 2 minutes away from the tram stop Cemberlitas and to the Blue Mosquee and rest of spots. The staff is nice and helpful.

Although we got a quite cheap rate for Istanbul, the hotel is quite old and decoration is a little bit too kitsch. Wifi only available in the lobby, and very weakly in the rooms. Neighbouring buildings are under construction or abandoned.

Reception in-charge Mr. Gokhan is a wonderful person and with pleasant personality always ready to help and guide. Location is excellent, Tram station "Cimberlatis" is just 2 Min walking. All places of interest and Market is just with in walk able distance. We would like to come again and stay in the same hotel and will suggest to our family members to come and stay here. Grand Bazar, Spice Bazar, and all historical places can be reached by walk in 10 to 15 Min time. There is slop while going to places and uphill walking while returning back. So use Istanbulkart that cost you 7 TL and recharge it as much as you want. This card can be used on Trams, Train as well as for sea transport. When returning back to hotel use Tram to reach Cembrilitas Tram station and then walk down to hotel Review written by Cdr BS Rainu (Retd) and endorsed by Mrs. Khushpal Rainu and Mr. Glen Simoens all from India, Mumbai presently working at Oman Shipping

Everything is good, bathroom is bit congested but manageable. You have to carry your toothbrush and tooth paste since it is not provided in these budget hotel.

Room had extra single bed. Good value for money. Breakfast included. Loud neighbors you can easily hear. Budget friendly.

Drunks banging on my door in middle of the night. Small lift. Very basic breakfast-olives bread Nutella. Location is surrounded by construction on all sides as of 4-1-14. No good view unless on top floor. Rooms are tight and small.
