Hard to find what not to like except for the shower which "sometimes" alternates between scalding hot water and freezing cold water if anyone else in the hostel was showering or if the washing machine or dishwasher in the kitchen/ laundry was operating .
One needs to chose a "quiet" time of the day to shower in to avoid this.
The light in the bathroom would go out when showering (or even using the toilet), necessitating a wave of the hand to make the sensor in the light fitting work again.
Position, position, position.
Only minutes away from; late opening supermarkets, convenience stores, shops, Metro stations, bus stops, taxi ranks, buses to and from airport, .
Right in the middle of the city centre. A short walk to tens of restaurants, cafes, street food stalls, street hawkers, street performers etc.
Very knowledgeable and exceedingly helpful staff. They helped me a lot in finding places of interest to visit and getting there using public transport.
Adequately furnished but kept clean and well maintained.
Located in a very safe part of town that is busy up to 1 AM. Ankara's other hostel is in an area that is not safe for tourists after 7 PM.
Would stay there again and would recommend to others.
