4 friends stayed in a family suite. The room was extremely spacious, the beds super comfy, the bathroom very clean. The room was secure, with free fast wifi. I can't stress enough how friendly and helpful the staff were; they organised trips, gave advice for us to navigate our own tour, lent us wine glasses, picked us up from our dinner reservation. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dervish Cave House.
wonderfull hotel, kind and helpful people, unusual and very comfortable room the vew ftom the hotel was amazing. I felt in the past and I would like to visit this place again
Excellent service from Volcan, who arranged multiple trips free of charge. Dropped us off at the gates of hikes!
almost everything was fine about the hotel. the room was well heated, and the room was a big one. ah the bed was i think 180 x 200 cm huge :) the bed was so comfortable.
No bottle water in the room,
King suit is the best choice among room types. Price/performance ratio is good. Bed was comfortable.
Lightning was only single mode switch. King suites are not in a cave. Reception and cave suites are seperately located at each side of the street but this info is not given on hotel page. They reserved a room without balcony even the photos was with balcony. Toilet was leaking and smelling.
The breakfast was excellent! The bedroom was neat, comfortable and spacious.
The bathroom was aweful - cramped, no shower head and taps dislodged
good value. Very good breakfast selection.
I really liked the room and the decoration, you really sleep in a cave. We enjoyed it very much.
I think they need to improve the way they clean the rooms, specially the bath and behind the carpets, etc. We understand that we visited Kapadokya in low season, but the breakfast could be better. Thinks that can be improved for sure.
Our room was spacious and loved the Jacuzzi, good to relax after a long day of sight seeing. The staff was very friendly too. Jamal was very helpful and gave us all the information we needed any time. He even drove us to Goreme Air museum and came and picked us up without any charge, we thought that was very sweet. He gave us his mobile no and we called him whenever we needed anything. The hotel can also help arrange any tours, balloon rides, car rental.. etc. The breakfast was good turkish buffet.
Nothing really. Just minor things can be improved, for example a dresser can be added to the room, especially it was too spacious and has a lot of empty space. They can add some hangers for the towels in the bathroom and a small shelf for shampoo and body wash in the shower.
i loved this place so much i cancelled and stayed a second night here
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The breakfast is the same every morning, so after a few days it was very boring. The rooms are carved from stone so they can be damp and humid, I suggest making sure you have a room with an air conditioner(it has heat as well and helps dehumidify the room)
Staff, breakfast, location, and view
Mattresses were not comfortable and blankets were too hot.
location was great, just 1 minute walking from main street of Goreme. Staff was very helpful with any requests we made. Very quiet, romantic place.
The bath was leaking in both rooms that we have stayed.
Excellent location, cave rooms were neat and fairly comfortable. Breakfast had good spread. Hotel was great for being inexpensive.
Wifi was terrible, rooms were too bright or too dark, with exposed light bulbs just hanging from wires. No exhaust fans in bathrooms. Not too bad, but little reminders of low quality.
It was an absolute pleasure to stay here. I was with a group of 10 friends and we stayed here for 3 days. Excellent Cave Rooms, excellent bathrooms and a very very good breakfast. Jamal and Yolan as usual were less like staff and more like good friends whom you could approach for anything you need around Cappadocia. It was one of the best hotels I stayed in throughout my Turkey trip and would recommend it to anyone.
Breakfast could be better, room service missing, no intercom..
The location is beautiful in and of itself, and the way the hotel (along with a number of others) is set up only strengthens the entire experience. The property is beautifully renovated and appears really luxurious with quality materials being used throughout. Welcoming staff willing to explain all you need to make the most of your stay in Cappadocia. They will also offer you baloon rides, Turkish night experience, guides etc. Breakfast is also outstanding.
The location was excellent and the hotel quiet, no one pushing to sell tours, etc. but always helpful at reception when trying to decide where to go. On asking for a room with easier access we were shown two others, which we appreciated.
Drains were kicking up, not badly but enough to give a slightly unpleasant smell near the bathroom and sink area. Lighting in the room could have been better.
The rooms we stayed in were large, full of character and very clean. The staff are extremely helpful & the breakfast was good (for Hotels in Turkey!). Location is perfect, just a short walk from the High street in Gerome, we'll be staying there again!
Good spot to stay for few days and discover the area
Lovely place, great atmosphere, the kids liked the idea of staying in a cave, breakfast was fine and the service friendly. AND there was the cutest cat.
Location and friendly staff
The hotel is on a very good location. The breakfast was a good hearty start of the day... Loved the fresh egg omelets. The staff was good and helpful. The first night when we reached, it was too cold so there was a considerable delaying in providing us heaters. Over all the stay was good and very enjoyable.
Great location, few minutes walking distance to sunset point. Good breakfast.
Cave room ventilation is very poor, stuffy, no choice have to leave window open all the time (there is no window grill to stop anyone from climbing into the room if you leave the window open when you asleep). Perhaps a fan would have helped a little.
Mostly people approach, style of room, style of hotel, attention to details, great quality of breakfast, generous attitude from the management, experienced team. High recommendation for daily tours arranged by hotel. Volcan at the reception is very helpful and available every time needed. Thank you team for the great time that we had with my wife
Not much to mention except some suggestions to improve: hot water shower to become hot faster as I waited 15 minutes and it stayed cold / there is a smell in the toilet that needs to be fixed. Telephone line to be connected to Reception as it's important for a guest to connect in terms of urgency.
