The View The Staff Service The rooms are amazing Breakfast was excellent If I came back... It would be to here!
The cave hotel is very nice experience. I got the top room and it was amazing Love the breakfast and all the staff here. They are so friendly and helpful. They even accept my cancellation for 1 night even the price I got is for 3 nights You got free water during the stay The tours they introduced were good and convenient
Airport pick-up shuttle bus was very slow because they have to pick up all passengers to have the full bus. 2 hrs from airport to the hotel and 1.40 hr in the way back.
Dervish Cave House was truly amazing. Staying there for 2 nights amongst the caves & fairy chimneys you could not ask for more it was awesome. Volcon our host was fantastic. He advised us on all the best places to see & how to get there. Nothing was a bother for him or the staff. Thank you for making our stay fantastic.
Staff was extremely friendly and helpful (ask Cemal for the baloon trip), the room was large (4 people room) and breakfast was great. Also the bathroom was large with both shower and bathtub.
The Dervish was an excellent place to stay and very close to the balloon take off. Set into the rocks our room was excellent. Highly recommend if you are wanting a unique experience.
No frigobar TV not working Delay for checkin; should be at 13:00 but was only released at 16:00
Hotel very clean, near restaurant, near city, wifi very good connection, staff very good English and very friendly
Helpful English-speaking staff, able to provide support for tour organization in Kapadokia. Nice hotel and rooms, good breakfast.
Staff there were cordial
We rented two rooms . Room number 19 and 20. Room number 20 did not have any windows and there were hot days. They did not give us fan also. My elder children could not sleep and complain a lot. Our room had windows and we were fine. Our elder children slept in our room as heat was unbearable. We slept all four in one room and paid price for two rooms. We complained and they indicated that they are thinking of air condition or at least fans in room 20 as no windows are there. Originally our children room was different but management decided to rent us room #20. Also no laundry facility for us even tough we saw other guests had that option. Thanks
Thoughtful and collegial staff quick to assist guests and eager to make each stay a comfortable and enjoyable visit.
The room was comfortable and good size. The garden is beautiful as it overlooks the city and terrain. The staff was very friendly and helpful and even booked a bus for us and recommended things to do. The bathroom included a whirlpool tub and a shower. They refunded us some money because no one could get the tv to work.
Although the walls were carved like the caves had been carved the room did not really look or feel like a cave, which is what I was looking for.
The location was very good. The room was as expected from the website a bit warm though (there was no fan and the weather has been very for a couple of days).
The staff was not friendly, didn't provide any information regarding attractions in the city, atm machines, laundry. The quality of food could definitely be improved. I arrived at night and there was no drinking water in the room. During the 5 days I stayed there, I had to buy drinking water.
Hotel location is very good. Hotel staff/manager will help you out in planning the trip in and around Goreme.
Bath room tap and the refrigerators was not working.
Hotel is location
I loved everything about this hotel, beautiful view, location and breakfast
Excellent friendly staff Atmosphere Location fabulous btw town and sunset viewing point Everything !!!
good value of money, friendly staffs, lovely environment
location is good
The question is what was there not to like... First, the location. Right in the middle of Gerome, Dervish Cave House consists of huge rooms unlike any you find in Turkey or European cities. Well appointed , beautiful furnishings, rugs, true king sized beds. Can get the experience of staying in a cave house with all the luxury of a four star hotel. The staff. Ibrahim started working with us on our stay about 6 months before we arrived. We were a party of 14, including 8 teenagers. Not easy to coordinate or please. He took care of the littlest detail to were we dubbed him our unofficial tour guide. He made reservations for us at the local excursions without it ever seeming like a hard sell. He even gave us a room to stay free of charge the last day after checkout when one of our party fell ill. Outstanding service, best I've experienced. The rest of the staff was great as well. They ordered food for us when the kids didn't want typical turkish cuisine and would bring large bottles of water free of charge. Good breakfast, with a variety of hot and cold items. Go with their recommendations for the hot air balloon ride and ATV excursions.
Small things. The bathrooms were spacious and well appointed. However the faucets were a little loose and the shower didn't drain fast. Ibrahim also took us to Bazaar 54 in Avonas. While it was great to see how carpets were made, we didn't have a good experience. We thought we were buying a carpet of the finest quality. After reading some reviews online I had doubts and immediately cancelled our purchase as it was an expensive one. The salesman first didn't return my calls, and then when I finally reached him, he assured me it was going to be cancelled. That it was not an issue. This was just a day or so after the purchase. Next thing I know it was shipped to my US address, weeks and my credit card charged after the order was supposedly cancelled! Please be wary when dealing with Bazaar 54 and Korkmaz. That was the only mar to the entire trip. Otherwise, would recommend Dervish Cave House and Ibrahim to anyone, and have been doing so since we came back from the trip.
Staff were extremely polite and attentive to every detail. Very knowledgable about area--very helpful.
Wi-fi service slow, airconditioner in room not very effective.
Vulcan was very friendly and tried to help in any way he could. He recommended great places to eat and helped arrange tours and taxis. The breakfast was excellent, and the view was great.
Our room, family suite #15 for four people, was very hot in July, and there was no air conditioning. It smelled musty. We asked for a fan three times, and though they promised to bring one, they never did. Like many hotels in Goreme, some of the rooms aren't really caves, but they are made to look as if they are. I believe some of the rooms at this hotel may be actually carved out of the hillside, but ours was "fake."
great, friendly staff. good breakfast.
shower had no shelf for shampoo, etc.
A beautiful hotel at a beautiful location. Great view of the town from the hotel. The guys vulkan and ibrahim very helpful they planned everything for us from airport transfers to tours n ballon ride we just had to be available at the given time. Had a great time
None i can remember
Since the booking when we were first contacted, the staff was really helpful. İbrahim and all the staff couldn't be better hosts! They helped us arrange everything we needed, from the turkish bath to the nice dinner and balloon tour! Nice rooms, beautifully decorated and a great breakfast! Totally recommended it!
