We felt pampered. Staff very friendly, helpful. Complimentary breakfast day after a long flight and very early arrival. Small gift given for my birthday. Staff always greeted us back after a long, hard day of sightseeing and shopping. Their genuine interest in seeing that we enjoyed ourselves in Istanbul was evident. Buffet breakfast is plentiful and very delicious with a great mix of foods, hot and cold.
Room small but very adequate. We did not like leaving the hotel.
Location, cleanliness, staff
Size of rooms
staff was helpfull accomadating, and informative. first room was small, but they upgraded, and we were pleased with the standard room.
econ-rooms clean but small.
Nice and friendly people. Good breakfast. Very clean.
Jacuzzi wasn't active on the roof. It wasn't possible to have breakfast on the roof terrace. Small room (but very nice).
Staff, location, room design.
Breakfast was ok. One way shuttle service from the airport to the hotel. Nice view from the terrace. Can use the jacuzzi from 15€/h.
They welcomed us very good. Even the check-in time was 14:00 a clock Mr. Firat, the director of the hotel, was very helpful, and made it possible to get into our room much earlier, wich was great because we came from a 14 hours of bustrip and was very tired. The rest of the staff was very smiling and helpful in any cases. When we needed something, they reacted fast. The hotel is in a perfect location, where it is possible to take or walk around the famous places in Fatih. It is almost impossible to get lost. Just follow the rail ways. The best part of this hotel is the terrace. It has a wonderful view of Sultanahmet mosque and the other mosques. We enjoyed a cup of turkish coffee on the terrace with a lovely cool breeze. :) Even if the rooms was maybe too small, the facilities in the room and the bed was perfect. There is a little view to the sea from the room i stayed, but I will strongly recommend to take use if the terrace ;) Generally the hotel is perfect and recommended. We stayed at the hotel to a very economic price, considering the service we got and the location. Thanks to Mr. Firat, Mr. Baki, Ercan and Caner... :) If I am coming to Istanbul again it will be this hotel I am staying again...
The room we were staying in was maybe too small and there was periods where the Wi-Fi was weak. The food was giid, but maybe to much the same everyday. More variation could be great. There was construction projects going on that time we were there, but it did only bother on the mornings.
Wifi, breakfast, day receptionist was very helpful, room was comfortable and clean.
Evening receptionist wasn't helpful or well mannered. No place to hang hand towel. Room and bathroom were very small. Construction or some sort of related noises across the street started ridiculously early in the morning one day, around 5 am.
Close to tram and Grand Bazzar
No chair in economy room
Arrived at hotel in a rainy day, nice staff from hotel pick us up with umbrella from Taxi two blogs away.I had travelled 18 days in a row through Rome, Athens, Santorini and a few places in Turkey. Divani Ali is the best out of 8 hotel I stayed in this trip. Location is very close to the tram and Grand Bazzar, room is ottoman style and very clean.WIFI and flat TV is great.
clean room excellent staff very good breakfast nice looking hotel beautiful terrace close to the main atractions
very small rooms
Amazing service and very friendly staff! Was really impressed! The location is excellent! It's a great place to stay in Istanbul as everything you need is around the corner! Thank you for the wonderful experience!
Simple elegance in the hotel room with clean and classy everything. I chose for price range and location, and was blown away by the quality. Super helpful staff.
Watch out, the hot tub has a surcharge, but the rooftop view is worth it. Some might say the room was small, but for an economy single it was perfect. The amenities and WiFi and air conditioning made up for the lack of closet space.
Style of room and bathroom, terace
Maybe room itself is a bit compact but no other negatives
Value for money, very clean and new hotel, Very friendly and helpful staff. The reception staff and the hotel manager really genuine and always ready to help and advise us about the city trying to provide us with everything we need.
A bit noisy because its located in a very busy part of Istanbul. Breakfast was not great.
We had an overnight layover on our airline flight and opted to stay in the Sultanhamet area of Istanbul. We were central in Istanbul for the evening during the Ramadan celebration! We walked to the parks and mosques, then enjoyed the lights of the towers and calls to prayer from the terrace atop of the Divani Ali
People always there for you, ready to help you and guide you at whatever you need and whatever you ask for...They found solutions for us, as also we felt very welcomed there while they anticipated our needs at all times. The location is great,as you are close to all the main attractions. The place is very easily accessible.
Very small rooms, which they will barely fit your luggage.
The location is great within walking distance to most attractions. The staff was very helpful.
The rooms are very small.
Great location at a very reasonable price. Extremely helpful and friendly staff who were obliging and willing to make our stay a pleasant one. Very close to major attractions especially the Grand Bazaar and Blue Mosque. Staff provided information and arranged tours and postage of goods. Highly recommend the hotel for your stay in Istanbul.
Rooms were small but very well decorated. Great breakfast in the morning. Fantastic location across the street from the Grand Bazaar and a tram stop and only about 10 minutes from all the major sights in the old town.
perfect location, clean room, tasty and rich breakfast
construction work in the night on opposite buildings, slow wifi
clean and close to attractions
small size of the rooms
The two things we liked the most is the friendly and polite staff and cleanliness of facilities. Overall it was a good value for money.
Although the location was near the main attractions, we did not like the noisy and filthy streets surrounding the hotel.
The location is really convenient. Opposite the Grand Bazaar, and about 8 mins walk from the Blue Mosque...etc.
I stayed here for 2 nights (not consecutive), however, the room size can be quite different for the same amount of money spent. The room for the first night can be really small. We can hardly move after we have opened our suitcases (1 medium size + 1 cabin size). The room for the second night is great.
The location was perfect and the staff very polite. It was very clean and new! Also the breakfast was very good with big variety.Free WiFi with modem in every floor.
Due to the location (in the touristic center), it was noisy at the evenings.
