Nous avons passé 2 nuits dans ce magnifique hôtel, tout y était parfait : un ancien caravansérail du XVIème siècle à la décoration raffinée qui allie antiquités et confort moderne, une chambre spacieuse et luxueuse, une "salle de petit-déjeuner" extraordinaire (la plus belle belle que j'aie jamais vue), un excellent restaurant de spécialités turques installé au sein d'un musée d'histoire de la technologie - spécial ! - et où nous avons été servis avec le sourire, les différents salons où l'on peut se reposer, lire ou ne rien faire en prenant un verre, un service discret et attentionné ... bref, que du bonheur ! La situation est également parfaite : l'hôtel est au coeur de la vieille ville, à 100 mètres de l'entrée de la Citadelle et à 300 mètres du musée des civilisations anatoliennes (à voir absolument : des pièces exceptionnelles exposées dans un bâtiment du XVème siècle) qui pour moi, est un des plus beaux musées avec la Villa Borghèse à Rome. Et cerise sur le gâteau : un rapport qualité/prix imbattable pour un hôtel de cette catégorie

Hôtel de charme dans un bâtiment d époque rénové et surtout décoré de belle manière avec des objets chargé d histoire. Accueil parfait,chambres luxueuses et très bien tenue mais climatisation un peu bruyante. Petit déjeuner servi à table fin et de bon goût.. Magnifique hôtel de classe

Stylish and poleasant environent. Amazing hotel.

The hotel is one of the most beautiful I have seen. The rooms are huge, comfortable and quiet. Dinner was also excellent. Try the sweets from the cafeteria beside the hotel, they are all delicious.

The hotel is on the top of a hill, a little distant from downtown. It's good if you plan to stay in the hotel the whole day, but not so good when you want to go sightseeing. I expected much more from the staff at the beginning, but then another person assumed the front desk and he helped me on everything he could.

The hotel is simply beautiful. It is an old Han which has been superbly renovated. It has retained the authenticity, (including its own museum, which houses the brasserie serving excellent food) and introduced all the luxuries expected of a first class hotel. It is a haven of peace and tranquility. The staff are wonderful. Nothing is too much. They are welcoming, helpful and see their role as providing their guests with the best experience possible. Everyone is a gem. Facilities are excellent and the rooms beautiful-ans very spacious.

Having to leave after only 4 days!

The decor is first class. The staff very helpful and friendly. Fantastic location. Great service. Nice food. Very clean. A real jewel.

The hotel is a bit far away from the city centre. You need a taxi to reach restaurants and shops.

Great customer service, architecture and character of the hotel, proximity to historical sites. Also the room itself was beautifully designed and furnished.

Room security unsatisfactory. International hotels have been using card keys for twenty years. The key attached to a block is annoying. The door has no bolt lock just a hasp lock. Guests enjoy themselves, especially women if they feel Secure. Also, I had to ask the front desk twice to have my room made. This should be automatic and is standard at all international hotels. If you fix these easy things I would have no problem saying your hotel is a five star hotel.

The interior of the hotel was EXTREMELY beautiful and unique. As soon as we were shown to the reception which was also extremely unique, we already knew that the interior was going to be exceptional. And true enough, we were all blown anyway. Everything about the hotel from reception to breakfast to rooms was brilliant. Absolutely enjoyed the hotel so much that it was difficult to leave.

Honestly, as a pretty critical person, there was nothing bad about the hotel at all!!

The rooms were comfortable and the bathrooms were large & splendid. Comfortable lounge downstairs where one could rest & read. Reception staff very helpful. Excellent restaurant with very helpful waiting staff. Well situated in old city, within walking distance of Museum of Anatolian Civilizations.

Lack of light in bedroom, which made it impossible to read. Was surprised by lack of a refrigerator in the room.

The lovely staff and stunning decor. One of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in, like travelling back in time, incredible place.

Wonderful. Very helpful staff. The room was superb with great furnishings and very comfortable. Great location near the old city/castle/bazaar and just a short taxi ride to the business district if you are in Ankara for work. Also very good value for money.

Design of the hotel and its historical background.

Although the hotel is overall is very clean we had some minor problems with our room. However the the follow up after informing the management team was at satisfoctory level.

It is haven of peace and tranquility set in a stunningly converted building. It is in the old town of Ankara surrounded by a maze of fascinating narrow streets and alleyways just begging to be explored. You will be spoiled for choice of what to purchase- spices,nuts antiques of all descriptions,ceramics,hammamproducts and so on. The Anotolian Museum is just metres away.

Fascinating historical setting. Very good service. Very comfortable. I will certainly stay there again if I return to Ankara. Thank you for a very memorable experience.

The building is a renovated caravanserai. A little more information about the history of the building would have been good. We missed seeing the In-house museum because it is shut on Mondays. We could have seen in on the Sunday if we had known. These are small complaints really given that it was such an interesting and luxurious and well run hotel.

It was so authentic. You liked to stay in the hotel rather than going out. IT has been passionately built and staff provided their services passionately.

There was nothing that I didn't like about the hotel. In fact I have plans to go there again, this time with my family.

Very well done decore and great service and food. This hotel is a delight.

For one the restoration achievement of the Han was absolutely noteworthy of primary recognition. The calm yet distinctive ambiance created inside the Divan çukurhan makes one think about what contemporary creation can achieve without having to detach from the past traditions. The surely connoisseur of an interior designer and architect have worked seamlessly together to generate a harmonious nostalgic and hospitable space. The indoor moat around the well furnished lounge area, the solid wooden doors and beams lining the restoration and grouting of stone walls and under the glassed skylight roof was truly a humbling experience to be enveloped in. The management of the staff shun through the deceptively absence of bodies, it seemed that the service didn't get in the way, but somehow was on immediate call when needed. This was highly impressive and appreciative.

As one to always attempt to play devils advocate I must point out that there is room for improvement for the gym, which seems to break away from the entire hotels and museum's richness. Albeit a small adjustment, for those who would visit the 'leisure' side of a hotel's facilities, it would highly be welcomed to be in line with the surrounding jewel of a building they have chosen to stay in.

This is an A-1 hotel. It has been lovingly restored and is just beautiful. It is the most unusual hotel that I have ever stayed. All the room are around a courtyard. We had a room that had a partial city view and was just the top of luxury. The bathroom was better than my one at home!!! This was an old Inn, built in the 1500's for travelers on the silk road. If you are near Ankara...come and stay here. Ankara really is a very interesting city. It looks dull from the highway, but is is really quite nice.
