I like the facilities available. Some staff were friendly others were not.

I did not like how they upcharged me an extra 30 euro/day, which wasn't the fault of the hotel but by booking.com when i booked for 2 adults and it booked as 1 adult which I was not aware of. The staff charge the additional amounts and did not give me a standard room and made me remain in the smaller room smelled like a trash can.

rooms were very nice and modern, staff friendly and helpful. Close to the old relics of the city that we wanted to see.

prices for coffee and OJ were outragious. 60.00 turkish lira for 2 cups of coffee and 2 glasses of OJ

The location is great which is a walking distance from a lot of historical locations and also from the famous Istanbul Bazaar. It's very quite, relaxing and clean. The room and bathroom spaces are very well managed and organized. The bids are very comfortable which was very important after a very long day walking.

* AC making loud noise every an hour or so which is very disturbing, we tried reporting it day 2 they promised to fix it but they didn't, we reported day 8 again, they attempted to fix it but it didn't help. we slept most nights without AC because of that, opening the window brought us mosquitos. *On our way back to the airport, hotel arranged for us a taxi drive which had the double tree logo on its car (TAXI PLATE Nr. 34 TJL 70). taxi driver meter showed 49TL. I handed him a 50TL note, He exchanged it to 5 TL note and said this is 5 not 50. although i was sure i gave him the 50 i paid him again in US dollar because i didn't have time to waste with him. The above points made me regret booking this hotel

Staff very helpful. Turkish bath therapist was excellent (Genghis). Rooms were easy to find and beds were very comfortable.

Did not get enough shower gel and body lotion. Restaurant and bar prices were excessive, although terrace bar was pleasant and breakfast had an impressive choice.

The dinner I ordered in the terrace. The location of the hotel. The bed quality. The bathroom.

The reception staff were aggressive. The reception area was noisy. The cleaners talked loud in corridors.

The location was amazing - steps from the tram. The room was very clean and attractive. The front desk staff were extremely helpful and kind.

There was a lot of light that came into our room at night through the bathroom window. The room service was hugely expensive and we didn't always get exactly what we ordered.

the staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms are spacious, and i prefered to stay in old city istanbul and take the tram to visit places rather than stay in the busy taksim area. i think this was a great decision.

Small room for a 5 stars hotel. Having to pay for wifi access in a 5 stars hotel feels like being charged for bread in a fancy restaurant.

The staff is really friendly and helpful. Very good quality of beds, I could really rest and sleep.Location is perfect. All turkish hotels have problems with sound isolation but not Doubletree. I didn't heard anything from outside, when I was in my room. So sound isolation is perfect.

Rooms are a little bit small if you stay 2people. Funny story about breakfast. First day it was perfect with all fresh bakery, perfect oatmeal and etc. Next day the oatmeal was instant not cooked, the bakery was stone like.

Excellent service, friendly staff, the most comfortable beds, easily the best hotel in this part of istanbul.

Sadly the restaurant lacks food to match the standard of the rest of the hotel.

There is lady in the recieption her name is Ozgen need a training about customer service and to teach her how to be welcoming and smiling for the customers, her attitude is very very bad, I'm sorry that she give abad impression about the staff in the recieption , also the people in the interence Internet is very expensive In the booked time we mention we need good view, they gave me in sewage view
