Can't complain anything, I am very satisfied with this hotel. Staffs are very nice, hospitable and willing to help me for booking ticket. It is really consistent with its high reputation. Highly recommend and will choose it next time!
Chocalate chip double fudge cookie when yo arrive
Room view bad
the terrace in front of hotel: sunny the espresso: real Italian the breakfast: great choice the haman and massages: excellent! front desk service: very helpfull
- misunderstanding arranging extra bed
Next to the sea, with easy transfer (3km, bus number 5 or 6 just opp the hotel)to the otogar (coach center). Good food. Big room. Everything is brand new.
The Hotel is very new and extremely pleasant to stay at. The architecture and furniture are very good.
No English Entertainment channels on the TV.
Bed was wonderful, pillows were excellent! Beautiful, almost new, hotel. Wide variety of offerings at breakfast. Beautiful indoor and outdoor pools. Will definitely stay here next time we travel to this part of Turkey.
Despite the hotel only being 1.5 years old, the electrical outlet in the bathroom did not work, one of the outlets in the bedroom was falling out of the wall, and the extra lock on the door was missing. The tub / shower worked well, but seemed to be a bit dangerous to exit due to the high sides on the tub. We managed okay, but I could see older / less agile guests having a problem with this.
Like others we appreciated the location, general design and style and quality of decor and furnishings. The room was spacious and well equipped, while the beds were soooooo comfortable. Staff were friendly, had competent English and were very efficient. Breakfast was not on our booking originally, but having had the first one we went back again for the second day. Would definitely return and whole heartedly recommend.
In the bathroom we had some concern that the tiled floor became slippery when wet. The bath had a non-slip section under the shower, but the rest of the bath was extremely slippery and so long that it would be easy to slide underneath the water altogether. There was no mirror near a seat and a plug for my wife to use hair dryer or curling/straightening tools of torture. These are small details and easily addressed, not so much a complaint as a suggestion.
great beds, big rooms, nice pools, cute restaurant area by back pool, spa and massage, amazing sunset view from rooftop restaurant, free parking, walking distance to beach and main walking area
All the above. ..
Minus. .The tariff should have included at least a continental breakfast. .Also the Tanneries behind hotel should be advertised more..as we do live here in Kusadası. .Never heard or knew about the Tanneries. .What a beautiful spot to eat and relax with friends. .
For location, design and all the mod cons, you can't go past The Doubletree by Hilton. It certainly one of the most impressive of the hotels in Kusadasi and represents great value for money.
Having travelled extensively through Turkey and being spoilt in boutique, family-run hotels, we had high expectations from the Doubletree by Hilton. However, we soon found out that it suffered from the same plight as most big-chain, big name hotels - it lacked heart and soul! Staff was impersonal, lacked knowledge of the area and generally lacked warmth and friendliness. If you're after a personalised, unique experience, this hotel isn't for you.
overall everything was good and the location was great, and will come back again
Room Tub Bed
Staff was a bit cold, up-tight. Laundry prices were nuts, so we went into town and had it done.
The bright side : 1. Good location in kusadasi marina 2. Clean , very clean . 3. Nice range of facilities, pools, restaurants and cafes.
First of all I should make myself clear , I'm a regular customer at the Hilton chain and I specially love the DoubleTree category , I have stayed at this hotel once before and it was almost flawless .The hotel is a five star hotel regarding the facilities and public areas but considering the service , barely 3 ! The really bad stuff : 1. No free wifi , thats ok ! You pay 12 Tl for each device daily , and no one tells you thats for one device ! And most importantly the internet does not work ! It's a killer connection that only works in the morning when every one is sleep , I called the reception a couple of times complaining about the wifi , once they simply hung up on me and one time they sent someone who just came in without knocking while we were resting half naked and told us that it would be good tomorrow and it wasn't . 2. You really don't get the chance to have a good night sleep , I was staying in a room with a sun-deck it is adjacent to some sort of a wedding club that is unbelievably loud till after midnight and also some guests made a lot of noise in the pool at 1am , so although the room is nice and you have access to a nice pool avoid this kind of room by any means possible . 3. Every request I made was denied or done with several times of contact , the so called " care line " is a joke ! I requested towels three times for the pool and got them an hour later , I can understand a delay but this is a 5 star hotel ! I requested a receipt for my payment at checkin and I was denied one ! Why ? I payed in advance and I just requested a simple receipt , as I have requested and have been granted more that a hundred times staying at different hotels including the Hiltons . 4. I gave in a shirt for dry-cleaning after two days I asked for it two times and after a day it came in wet ! Right before my checkout ! 5. The hotel shows signs of wear-off and bad maintenance and the ice machine never worked !
Very comfortable beds and clean
Ice machine didn't work, had to ask for a few things that should have been provided. I don't want to seem ungrateful for such luxuries but we decided to splurge for a couple nights and it was a little disappointing. But all in all it was still a really good hotel. The staff fixed any issues and requests very fast and they were all very friendly.
We had a sun deck room which a shared pool which was an excellent treat for myself and my partner as we were staying in a different hotel closer to Izmir for the other nights of the holiday. Hotel was lovely, very clean as were the pool.
Quality of the breakfast wasn't too cranky but as to be expected in Turkish hotels.
The police took our rental car, the hotel manager helped us negotiated with police and came with us to taken the car back. Thank you sooooo much ~ by the way, we joined the local star concern that night , that was fantastic!!!!
Beautiful feeling of space and comfort from the moment you walk into the hotel with its unique artwork of doves in the reception area. The rooms were comfortably laid out, with more space than anywhere found in the whole of Turkey. Best quality beds for a wonderful night's rest. Rooftop bar area and restaurant for a excellent view of sundown to round off the day with a feel-good experience. Although we enjoyed the lovely pool, it was really a disappointment not being able to get refreshments there in the super hot days.
No refreshment service during the hot days around the pool area.
All the staff very happy and helpful
Only one alacarte restaurant open
Perfect in everyway - staff, service, room, pools, cleanliness, bed, deck and breakfast. Only wi-if problem
Wi-if was far too slow and at 12 TL per day per appliance ( we have a lap top and ipad =24TL) that is far too costly. Come on Hilton Hotels, you can do better
First thing first. When we were at the reception to check in, we were greeted with polite staff and hot cookies. Nice touch. Facilities explained to us and opening times, etc. Parking, no problem and location is very central. Roof top offers excellent views of the city, however drinks are pricey.
If you go there at the wedding season, i.e. June to August you will hear lots of screaming live Turkish music from at least 5 different directions, including the actual hotel itself, usually 6 pm to 12am. Not a relaxing hotel then. We found the pool small and the pool that reserved for rooms 11- 15 even smaller.
The room was clean and comfortable. It was relaxing at the private pool im swim up room. Enjoyed our stay!!
The air conditioning in the room did not work meaning we did not sleep much due to the heat! We did not call a tech as it was 3am when we realised it was not working properly. Pool in swim up room was in bad condition as tiles were missing at bottom and my partner cut his foot!
