Good location, but for first time hard to locate. Too thin walls, you can hear breathing in another room :) Door bell bothering... Not cleaned room between day 2 and 3. But still this is good option for price/deal.
Very friendly staff. Good location. Very clean.
It is a nice and cosy place, the rooms are clean and the hotel has all you need to spend your holidays. The staff is truly kind and ready to help. I will recomend this hotel, especially to people who look for a clean confortable and affordable place to stay in
The room in the first floor might be a bit noisy at night but it is what you get when want to pay less.
Very good hotel especially for the price.
Definitely not soundproof rooms. Having to ring the doorbell to enter the hotel becomes very frustrating especially if the weather is bad.
The hotel was close to Hagia Sophia (around 10-15 min walk) and the restaurant and bar area around there. It was very well renovated, and the staff were super-helpful. The wifi was one of the best so far I have encountered in Turkey.
Maybe a bit hard to find (but just locate the park close to it, and then it's quite easy).
Everything is excellent, we have got more than we have paid for! I recommend this hotel to everyone and staff is unbelievable, just good words for our staying in this hotel and Istanbul!
The apartment was clean, well maintained, spacious and lovely.
1)The apartment was located about 100m away from the hotel and the driver has difficulty finding the location as it has no signboard, at least stating 'Dualis Apartment.' (2)No elevator! Difficult if you have many luggages.
everything was excellent. The manager was really helpful and gave also a few tips for sightseeing. Also the breakfast was really good.
the only minus would be the phonic insulation...which for what I understand is bad in the majority of the hotels from this area.
Location, clean rooms, WiFi
For some reason, our card was not charged on the day of booking. Rather than telling us about this when we arrived, we received a phone call in the room in the middle of the night, asking for the cash payment. We were planning to leave in five hours and might have easily not have the necessary amount of money. The issue has been resolved as we were able to pay in cash, but still the staff could have handled it better. Also, there was a strong smell of cigarettes in the room from the lower ground floor where the staff rooms were. In order to get into the hotel, you need to ring the bell and wait until someone answers.
This hotel is very clean and located in an excellent position. Turkish breakfast is simple but delicious. Helpful staff, hi-speed wifi, excellent value for money.
The location is quite good in the old center, just a few minutes walk to the blue mosque, and we really liked the breakfast there, well served local food with turkish black tea!
It's a really comfy place near to the main attractions. Everything is within an easy walking distance (with some climbing of course). They have breakfeast, it's good enough to start the day. The place is clean, they make the room everyday,
Our room literally looked to the garden of a school, so you can enjoy football all day long. It wasn't a problem for us, but good to know.
The hotel staff was very helpful, we had a late night flight and they received us at such a late time. They helped us with any question we had and with preparing for leaving. The facilities and the breakfast of the hotel are really good.
Having to ring the doorbell to go in can be a little uncomfortable, especially if you are arriving late or in the chance the doorbell breaks.
Neat & clean. Very delicious breakfast
Please provide iron & table in the future
Handy for old town.
Booked room months in advance. Arrived at hotel late at night only to be told we had to move to another hotel for the first night - had to carry (heavy) luggage across town (deputy manager accompanying us chain smoking all the way) to his 'cousins' hotel - no water overnight (burst pipe) - and had to argue for a 5 euro discount! Poor customer service. Rooms very noisy (thin walls).
This hotel was even better than I expected! Very nice and clean room, good breakfast and a very nice lady making breakfast and cleaning, very good hotel manager/owner who speaks perfect English, Tv and internet worked just fine, also nice with only 7 rooms in 3 levels (no elevator) and good help with booking shuttle from hotel to airport SAW (15 Euro - 45 lira).
Other guests were talking to laud when they came "home" around midnight, or later, but that was not the hotels fault! Once I had to wait outside the locked hotel-entrence 15 minutes before another guest opened for me... No staff was there to open. But that only happened 1 time in 6 days, so not a big problem!
Everything looked new and very clean. We had very nice sleeps. staffs are very nice. We missed our flight and the owner helped us beyond our expectation on our return to hotel. Thank you.
Quaint historic house that has been renovated into a hotel. I believe it has been in the family for 3-4 generations. The rooms are lovely with very high ceilings, gorgeous bathrooms and comfortable beds. The young owner was extremely engaged and helpful. The breakfast was excellent with loads of choices and the woman who served us...I think her name was Elba, was very sweet.
I am reluctant to say anything negative about this lovely little hotel but the early call to prayer was very loud. And there were roosters starting about 0400. Bring earplugs and persevere. Some nights cigarette smoke was present drifting up from the lower cafe.
Location, nice staff, clean room, delicious breakfast!!
We had to stay at room in the basement for first night! You can hear everything here.
Great place to stay
The owner family of the hotel was very friendly and helpful. The hotel room was tidy and nicely decorated.
The soundproof of the hotel rooms was wery poor.
For the first three nights we`ve got a room in a basement and it was awfull to stay there.
Staff were very helpful and friendly. We could leave our baggage for the whole day after check-out. Excellent, new mattress.
Next to a school, so no real chance to sleep in. Children are noisy from about 7h30 to 14h00.
Ideal location. Istanbul's main sights within walking distance. We were four days and only one day used the public transport. Good, fresh, great Turkish breakfast. Clean, tidy rooms, which created a Turkish atmosphere. The owners were very pleasant and helpful. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends and family.
