The comfort room was spacious, comfortable beds after adding padding beneath, restaurant was excellent, the chef has a fine touch. We also really enjoyed the poolside and many cabanas throughout the property. The wifi was excellent in and outside the rooms.
Lovely hotel, staff were great
The only thing I didn't like was the noise made by the cleaners from 7am. Know it cant be helped but disturbed sleep each night
Excellent staff, helpfulness, beautiful property, convenient location, quiet and personable
Wifi is not that good
real-family atmosphere, staff extremely helpful and attentive, a little green oasis on top of Bodrum.
It was a great stay without flaws!
Everything was perfect about our stay. The room was nice, spacious and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Amazing views from rooftop restaurant. We mainly chose this hotel because we wanted a quiet location but still close to the Bodrum Marina.
The hotel found so excellent to me.
The behaviour of the hotel staff and the way they do treat the guests.
-Walking distance to harbor and castle -Beautiful rooftop dining -Private pool(s) -Mini-theater
-Typical European beds, a bit hard
It was very quite and green hotel that you can not expect in the heart of Bodrum. Amazing breakfast, all delicious home made marmalade and juices :) stayed at one of the suit room.i was staying almost 8 years at another boutique hotel but from this year onward its my first choice.
pool was very cold and a lot of cats which can disturb your outdoor breakfast
Excellent small boutique hotel with friendly staff. We had a suite which added to the experience. The roof top restaurant had very good food and an excellent view
Small point but this is not a budget hotel so having to pay for tea bags in your room is a bit petty. A bit far out of town Too many cats
El Vino Hotel is an amazing place. It is located a bit far from the Bodrum port and it is good if you want to have a good sleep quality. The pool is unique and is more beautiful than it appears in the pictures. The staff are great, so professional and ready to help in everything, when you listen “If you are happy, we are happy” from someone how just have made a huge effort to find a better room, you know you are in an especial place. The hotel also have its own beach, in fact they have a partnership with a beach a few kilometers from Bodrum, and they have a van to do the guests transfer to the beach and from there back to the hotel. The breakfast is perfect with so many options. The room is clear, and well decorated, the bathroom is comfortable and the sower is excellent. It is a hotel I´d like to come back again.
Unforgettable experience in El Vino. We had a beautiful room with a terrace where we could relax in the evening and drink their signature wine. Staff is very friendly, breakfast is excellent. We had an amazing dinner on the roof top terrace overlooking the whole Bodrum and the Bodrum Castle. The food, I have to admit, was the best I had in the area. I would definitely stay in El Vino once again.
I came here with my boyfriend and we both really enjoyed our stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful; it almost made it feel as if we were staying at a very large home rather than a hotel. That being said, our room still felt very private and secluded- so it was the perfect balance of these things. There are cats running around the hotel grounds and I absolutely loved this as well. It gave the hotel character- a much more playful air. It was really lovely. Also, the restaurant at this hotel is absolutely delicious. I highly recommend it! The hotel was also close enough to the city centre that everything was easily within walking distance but it did not feel as if it were right on top of everything - which I preferred. It was also a nice distance away from the mosque which I imagine would have been rather loud had the hotel been located right in the middle of everything. I highly recommend staying at el vino, make sure to tell Tugcan that Kate and Oliver say hello!!
Almost everything! The staff were all exceptionally helpful and attentive. The main pool area is delightful. We enjoyed the rooftop restaurant, both inside and outside, with wonderful views, and the little terrace pool area was an unexpected treat. The hotel rooms are situated along a rabbit-warren of paths amongst an abundance of beautiful flowering trees and bushes - a real surprise as you come in off the street. We were in a good-sized suite, with kitchenette, all of which was cleaned to a high standard each day. Breakfast was excellent, and the restaurant good, though we personally would have liked a little more bias towards Turkish rather than international food in the restaurant.
Although our excellent suite had a balcony, we were disappointed that it wasn't big enough for us to sit on - minimal standing room only. We also felt that some of the foliage does need taking back a bit - we could see very little from our balcony because it was so thick, and it was impossible to walk round the pool without ducking and weaving. However, this is all "nit-picking" as overall we loved the hotel.
Our group of 8 adults loved El Vino! Service was excellent, hotel it like small paradise and restaurant just breath taking!! Next time we will stay longer!
The room was very pretty with a small terrace that we really enjoyed. The garden with the pool was most beautiful. Very quiet although it is located directly in the city - marina, shopping, dining: everything in walking distance. The staff seems to remain in the backround but as soon as you might come up with a question or a problem, they are instantly there to help you
We didn't like the fact that we had to leave again after only 3 nights
The wonderful staff were like friends by the time we left. The facilities were beautiful but not so ritzy as to seem fussy. The view from the restaurant was breathtaking. Our room was lovely and well appointed. Breakfast was terrific too!
Sounds silly I know but the wifi only allowed one user at a time. Busy travel days mean that all guests may want simultaneous access. Location was just fine but long walk down the (slippery marble) sidewalks of Bodrum to reach dining district added 15 minutes each way. Having said that, Bodrum is a noisy town so being away from that was probably a real blessing!
Going through the gate you enter a different world
No kettle in room
Suite was very comfortable, cool and airy. Pool a lovely calm oasis. Bougainvillea everywhere & beautiful. Staff helpful, friendly and courteous. Breakfast excellent by Turkish standards.
Cats everywhere! Suite kitchenette not very well equipped - just a sink, fridge, kettle and cups. No plates, no cutlery - seems odd to call it a kitchenette. Tea and coffee supplied but has to be paid for - this is just not acceptable in a suite in a hotel of this standard and cost. Although there was a balcony in our suite, it was not a 'sitting out' balcony. I know not all rooms are the same but this was a little disappointing as not made clear in hotel description.
Rooftop restaurant excellent sea bass dinner and view made our stay!!!
10 lire for 2 glasses of water was a bit much. I didn't order or drink.
Loved that it felt like a bit of paradise in the middle of a neighbourhood. Great location. Great roof top restaurant.
Staff were great upon arrival, but felt that once we checked out they lacked the same graciousness.
The hotel itself and its main pool are so pretty and has lot of greenery. The food is so good as well as the view from the roof.
No beach access. Wifi is limited to only on device for each room.
The politeness of the staff, the terrace at night - where we could enjoy a wonderful sunset and a very delicate dinner - the room, which was in the middle of flowers and exotic plants, the high quality of the food. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who can enjoy a classy and luxury style and environment but still surrounded by the courtesy of a professional personnel.
Great hotel, breakfast and staff!
I didnt love the area of Bodrum town itself, just being crowded and touristic but if you're wanting to be in the area for ferry purposes as we were it was perfect.
Rooms were comfortable and clean, staff helpful, swimming pool is nice. Overall we keep very good memories of our stay at El Vino. It's not so far from the center by foot, but still avoid the hectic center. One of our best hotels during our trip in Turkey.
The rooftop restaurant is a bit overrated, and you can sometimes hear the big street from the pool area, but it was not that annoying.
