Just a few steps to Taksim Square and Istiklal Avenue, Ottoman Palace is 260 ft to Taksim Metro Station. It has elegantly-decorated rooms with air conditioning and a flat-screen TV with cable...

Staff very friendly and helpful
Beds were very hard
I felt excellent; staff is very gentle and available to help and to make you comfortable. With their help, I book very interesting round trip of Istanbul. They organise the evening dinner with belly dancing program and transport
we stay at the white suite ..very nice and comfortable room quite area very good price and breakfast.
the smell of naphthalene in the room at the beggining it was disturbing but then you are getting used to it
Excellent turkish breakfast . Buffet style and choose variety of fine turkish food . Beautiful view from the top floor for breakfast. Stuff is friendy and very kind.
The location is excellent - close to all the major tourist attractions and Sultanahmet Tram Station. It's very easy to get around the city from here. Great breakfast with a wonderful view over the sea.
The hotel consists of only 10 rooms. It is located in an excellent area for tourists. The staff was friendly, the area was quiet and lovely, and the room was clean. The breakfast was also delicious.
I did not feel comfortable with the size of the rooms. Mine was too small to accommodate one person.
Great service and staff. We stayed in the 4th floor suite with a terrace and jacuzzi. The room was clean and spacious. The breakfast buffet had so many choices and overall, we were very satisfied with our stay!
Wifi was on occasions a little weak, but overall, the staff were prompt and helpful in answering any of our questions and sorting out any issues.
We stayed in the suite building which is about 5 min walking from the hotel building. But it's closer to Hagia Sophia. Room is large and clean. Breakfast in the hotel is the best we have during our Turkey trip. The view from the breakfast room is beautiful.
The breakfast room is small. Sometimes there were not enough seats for the guests who want to have breakfast. Transfer from the airport is a bit expensive.
Central location, minutes away from Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia Very kind and hospitable staff Breakfast was good Room size was adequate and the bed comfortable
Our bathroom smelt quite bad, and had urinal cakes to mask the smell, when we got rid of these it smelt stale and of sewage On our last day, at 1100 we asked the cleaning staff to come back later as we were just leaving. When we returned at 1800 that evening, our room hadn't been cleaned and never was.
Location , room and main hotel design , tee and coffee facilities in the room , breakfast , room for breakfast with very nice view to sea and Blue Mosque too .
Second building with no elevator ( we do not recommend to old people to book there ) time to time bad smell in bathroom .
Once we got into a better room our stay was much better. Beds are nice but could do with bigger sheets or duvets. All in all if you want to be in the old part of Istanbul - this is a good place to go. As with most Turks, staff are very helpful and kind.
The first night our room smelt - of course all the buildings are old and the drains do smell (can't blame the hotel for that - maybe they could install some new P-traps) but they used something like "moth balls" in the bathroom drain to try and hide the smell. It worked but the smell of mothballs was overbearing and my wife is very sensitive and had no sleep the first night - neither did I... But they moved us into one of the corner rooms on a lower floor (2nd) and this was a new world. It saved the visit to Istanbul...
Great location and great views.
The location was very good
I stayed in lodging next to the hotel. The room wasn't like the photos which i saw before booking.
You need to take a cab for breakfast !!! The main hotel and the secondary buildind are very far from each other.
Good breakfasts I liked the sun terrace and having tea and coffee in the room The location was excellent
Occasional communication problems with reception due to language difficulties
amazing location , view , service & spacious rooms
We spent 4 nights at this little boutique hotel, full of nice details. Only 3 small rooms per floor, very well set, with great views of the Bósforo. Hospitality details like coffee maker, variety of teas, a basket of fruits, etc, makes you feel very welcome. Location is great close to everything, and quiet though. Typical breakfast is amazing, and with the best panoramiscs os the Bosforo. Warm young staff, always helpful.
The shower needed a harder clean, with humidity spots, the bathroom in general was not clean as it should. I told so, but it wasn´t fixed. A pity really, such an easy thing to solve. A trash basket in the room for papers will be a good idea.
the staff were the nicest people, so helpful and beautiful service, hotel is small, but location is perfect and you are treated like family!
This is the first time when I write something on booking.com. But now I can't be silent! This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed! Perfect location. Super friendly staff. Great value for money. If I come back to Istanbul one day, I already know where I will stay.
I liked everything!
Lovely staff Delicious breakfast Close to Blue Mosque
The warm welcome of the hotel staff The room was clean and quiet The location of the hotel close to the blue mosque and all other monuments and grand bazzar
Timing for breakfast from 8:00 to 10:00 is short and obliges us to wake up early Otherwise it was great and we will definitely stay there in our next stay
The view was just beautiful. I would definitely recommend the spa suite. It was so relaxing after a long day of sight seeing to sit on the terrace or have a bath. The location was perfect to visit all the famous sites and close to lots of quaint restaurants. The room was cleaned and reset everyday to a high standard. All in all a wonderful place to stay in Istanbul.
We stayed in a family suite located in a separate building from the main hotel, but this is actually closer to the main attractions just behind the blue mosque area. The separate building houses three family suites with an office in the basement through which you have access. The facilities are excellent, with a nice comfortable oval shaped double bed and two extra single beds put in our suite for a family of four. The room size is adequate for a family of four, and the bathroom has a luxurious touch to it with excellent shower pressure. It was great to be there during the Ramadhan seeing the local crowd which made it more exciting.
The tram station is a bit of a distance away, about 10 mins walk through the hippodrome area. Advisable to catch a taxi if you are a family with kids and wish to go straight to Eminonu or Taksim.
Clean, cozy room. Very nice staff. Location of the hotel very good.
We stayed in the family suite for 4 days. Our daughters were enchanted with the luxurious fittings, the breakfast was brilliant, and the friendly, efficient service warmed our hearts. Proximity to the historical attractions is a bonus.
No negatives - except that the tram station was a bit of a walk. Fine on a normal day, but difficult with luggage.
