Score from 24 reviews Wonderful
We had a suite room and really enjoyed the stay. The location is perfect, very friendly and attentif staff, good breakfast
Wi-fi connection is poor
Turkish people were very friendly, but not pushy. See view with busy traffic was interesting. So many small streets and you can not get lost. Each one will take you somewhere and you will see something nice.
We liked everything.
Very good personnel and location. Comfortable rooms and tasty breakfast.
i really liked the warm welcome we received on arrival , we were given a welcome gift which was so thoughtful. The hotel and room was very cosy and very clean. The location was good and near to the historic sights - blue mosque, Sophia Mosque etc
Room and clean was good
Staff so rude in the suite building and not helpful at all and most of them impolite
location, breakfast, staff, wifi
It is in a very good location, just next to the blue mosque~~ Breakfast is really great!!! A variety of choices!!
bathrooms no room for toiletteries
Every thing is good. Staff, Facilities & Location. Enjoyed the roof top breakfast with Seagulls. Amazing view and interior of hotel is very nice, although the rooms are small but for single or couple they are good.
The staff was insisting for Cash only for the services they were providing and every thing they were chargning in Euro, which might have little bit expensive. Second thing , the driver's commitment for pickup was not on Time and I feel this is a common in Istanbol due to traffic or any other reason & they will keep telling you that he is coming, just 10 minutes ....
Friendly helpful staff. Room was clean, comfortable, and a decent-size. Good buffet breakfast with a fabulous view from the breakfast room.
Being in old town, taxis not able to get to door (but my shuttle from airport managed). .
Staff were excellent and helpful. Helped us whenever we had a question or needed help. Location is perfect.
We stayed in three bed room which was spacious and comfortable, however the shower had problem with poor drainage and smell of sewage was awful as soon as hot water was used.
Warm welcome by reception staff, location and breakfast. We got a very good offer of huge suite by low price.
Suite in a different building, 600 mt from the hotel. Three floors by stairs. Non speaking English staff at the building, non bell boy at check out (3 floors...). We had to walk all the way to the hotel for breakfast. Even the above was not informed in advance we were happy with the suite and choice...
Great views from terrace, dining room , and room to the Bosphorus, very good breakfast, nice staff.
Mould in bathroom
Staff very friendly and helpful
Beds were very hard
I felt excellent; staff is very gentle and available to help and to make you comfortable. With their help, I book very interesting round trip of Istanbul. They organise the evening dinner with belly dancing program and transport
we stay at the white suite ..very nice and comfortable room quite area very good price and breakfast.
the smell of naphthalene in the room at the beggining it was disturbing but then you are getting used to it
Excellent turkish breakfast . Buffet style and choose variety of fine turkish food . Beautiful view from the top floor for breakfast. Stuff is friendy and very kind.
The location is excellent - close to all the major tourist attractions and Sultanahmet Tram Station. It's very easy to get around the city from here. Great breakfast with a wonderful view over the sea.
The hotel consists of only 10 rooms. It is located in an excellent area for tourists. The staff was friendly, the area was quiet and lovely, and the room was clean. The breakfast was also delicious.
I did not feel comfortable with the size of the rooms. Mine was too small to accommodate one person.
Great service and staff. We stayed in the 4th floor suite with a terrace and jacuzzi. The room was clean and spacious. The breakfast buffet had so many choices and overall, we were very satisfied with our stay!
Wifi was on occasions a little weak, but overall, the staff were prompt and helpful in answering any of our questions and sorting out any issues.
We stayed in the suite building which is about 5 min walking from the hotel building. But it's closer to Hagia Sophia. Room is large and clean. Breakfast in the hotel is the best we have during our Turkey trip. The view from the breakfast room is beautiful.
The breakfast room is small. Sometimes there were not enough seats for the guests who want to have breakfast. Transfer from the airport is a bit expensive.
Central location, minutes away from Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia Very kind and hospitable staff Breakfast was good Room size was adequate and the bed comfortable
Our bathroom smelt quite bad, and had urinal cakes to mask the smell, when we got rid of these it smelt stale and of sewage On our last day, at 1100 we asked the cleaning staff to come back later as we were just leaving. When we returned at 1800 that evening, our room hadn't been cleaned and never was.
Location , room and main hotel design , tee and coffee facilities in the room , breakfast , room for breakfast with very nice view to sea and Blue Mosque too .
Second building with no elevator ( we do not recommend to old people to book there ) time to time bad smell in bathroom .
Once we got into a better room our stay was much better. Beds are nice but could do with bigger sheets or duvets. All in all if you want to be in the old part of Istanbul - this is a good place to go. As with most Turks, staff are very helpful and kind.
The first night our room smelt - of course all the buildings are old and the drains do smell (can't blame the hotel for that - maybe they could install some new P-traps) but they used something like "moth balls" in the bathroom drain to try and hide the smell. It worked but the smell of mothballs was overbearing and my wife is very sensitive and had no sleep the first night - neither did I... But they moved us into one of the corner rooms on a lower floor (2nd) and this was a new world. It saved the visit to Istanbul...
