staff advice for near by restaurant!! Robbed by price for dinner!!!
The staff were super friendly, excellent breakfast and very helpful front desk staff too.
I don't have anything to complain about.
We stayed at a family suite, which was a separate building. The picture on website does not reflext this. Our building was surrounding by derelict buildings, there was piles of rubbish outside the building. There was no staff at the reception during the nights though we were told there was, staff later admitted that was not the case. The breakfast was cold, breakfast room was not big enough to accommodate all the guests for breakfast. The jacuzzi in our room did not work, no action was taken though I did report. Mehammet, was very rude and unsympathetic when I raised my concerns. Will not recommend.
Location was close to Blue Mosque and public transport (about five Minutes walking). Few smaller groceries within short walking distance. Breakfast had an excellent range of choice. Staff, especially Oguz, was always very kind and helpful. We've been staying at the family suites, about five minutes walking distance to the main hotel.
The location is perfect, just several minutes to Blue Mosque; the room is cosy and the staff is friendly and helpful esp. that tall thin guy(pity not to ask for his name); the terrace view is great, and I really enjoyed breakfast there~~
Cozy atmosphere, nice view to the sea
Flexibility with the check out time
view of blue mosque from breakfast. Breakfast was good
The staff were pretty unfriendly, demanding money right away after a hard day of travel. Kind of lame.
This is the best small city hotel, I have ever stayed in. Everything was excellent, I do not have anything to criticize for this place. I may easily say I found my place to stay for every time I plan to spend my time in old city.
Nice rooms with kettle and fridge, breakfast with many choices, close to sights and restaurants, friendly staff
The beds were quite hard, and the bedding not very soft either, otherwise a great place
A warm, friendly welcome from knowledgeable staff & an interesting mix of guests of different ages from all over the world.
Human touch feeling
Some equipment need to renewal
Basically everything is excellent! The first moment you arrived at this hotel, you already can feel the friendliness of it. The location, cleanliness, nice room, great view, good breakfast, everything is just too good!
The location near Arasta Market and Blue Mosque. The included breakfast was excellent! The staff was nice and the place was clean. I cute roof terrace, and good value for the cost.
Thanks to its location in the historic center of Sultanahmet and close vicinity of the Blue Mosque, Arasta Market and a big number of cosy restaurants makes Emine Sultan Hotel great value for money. Though our double room was a shoe-box size, we didn't mind it as we had a great view of the Blue Mosque on our left, the Bosphor on our right and the snow-white seagulls right in front of our window. We also appreciated such signs of hospitality as a free transfer shuttle from the airport, a complimentary fruit basket and free Turkish delights offered daily. The choice for breakfast was rich enough, too. The bed was comfortable, with high-quality linen that was nicely made every day. The staff did their best to make our stay enjoyable. All the staff speak fluent English except the lady serving in the breakfast-room. We will definitely stay there again.
The hotel is very well located .All the must visit places are art a stone's throw and walking distance. The staff is warm and ever helpful. The hotel gives a warm vibe with small gestures like a hot cup immediately on arrival with fresh biscuits and cakes every day and time at the reception. A strongly recommended property for all travelers ,who want value for money. I will surely stay again here again when ever I am in Istanbul.
The hotel itself is great. It has the vibe of a small cozy boutique hotel. The staff is extremely helpful and nice especially a person who speaks fluent Russian (unfortunately I don't know his name). The view during breakfast is to die for, especially when it's sunny
During my stay the air-con system broke and they couldn't fix it for almost 2 days. The temperature inside the room didn't differ much from the temperature outside. The staff was very helpful and provided extra heater and blankets, but it didn't help much, thus I had to leave the hotel earlier. The hotel returned me money, so I don't have any complaints, just the fact that I had to find another hotel is a little bit disappointing, because I really really liked Emine Sultan hotel and I would definitely come back there in warmer period of a year.
Breakfast with beautiful view, nice room, friendly staff.
Lot of mould in the shower cabin
View on Bosforus, friendly personal
It was very cold in the room, location is not very good as for transport
1.Breakfast was very good with good view of sunrise over the sea 2.Clean and comfortable size rooms with character light fixtures 3.Less than 10 minutes walk to major attractions in Sultanahmet
1.The shower was very good but the tap water(while brushing) tasted odd, our eyes felt irritated(a lot) for many hours and the water didn't come off the skin smoothly. 2.The windows insulation was poor in our room and we were disturbed frequently by the road noise during our sleep. 3. The fruit basket provided were not fresh and had a few cuts
Lovely small hotel with super staff, good breakfast, fanstastic views at the Marmara sea and the Blue Mosque, working Wifi, comfortable bed and a very very friendly atmosphere.
Because the hotel is small, it can be a bith noisy and you can hear noise from other rooms and the corridor. But that is a minor discomfort.
Great place to stay
Everything actually! Friendly staff, great breakfast buffet, reception gave us water whenever we asked, room was super clean and on the 4th floor, we had the most spectacular view...could see the Blue Mosque out of our window and it was only a 5 minute walk away. Highly recommend!
cleanliness, location and simplicity.
the fact that the breakfast is totally in another building.
