Only 330 yards from the Taksim Square, this hotel is a one minute walk to the metro station. Lutfi Kirdar Covention & Exhibition Center is half a mile away. Free Wi-Fi is available.

Decorated with wallpaper in Baroque design, Atik Palas Hotel is in a building reflecting 17th-century castles. The hotel is just over half a mile from the heart of Istanbul, Taksim Square.

good location and clean i was staying there for 1 week i enjoyed my time there
They were very helpfull and the room was nice and clean
The location is not so good, they dont speak much english, and there is no one most of the time at the reception, so if you need anything is no good. That does not make you feel safe, even more when you are a women travelling solo. The price is too much for the neighborhood and what they give you.
The room was very cleen. Wifi was good. First man, who have met us there, Sidar, was very, very good man, tnx particularly to him.
Staff were not responsible enough. At time of arrival we faced closed door without anybody there to open the door for us!!
The site says there is breakfast but they didnt give us any, they cheated us!
Friendly staff. Very close from Taksim square and Istiklal street. Room and WC are clean and tidy Good WiFi Good price "not expensive" I didn't know about the lift which was very useful to carry my big bag instead of using the stairs.
There is no staff from 10pm till 11am, I had to wait for a few hours to get in (check in). There is some noise coming from outside where the children in the neighborhood are playing in the street.
We did not get a chance to bathe after we have checked out as our flight was 7.25pm and we had to shower before going to the airport. In addition, we were informed that the airport transfer to hotel was not free (30euros) only after two days of arriving in the hotel. The fact that we need to pay was stated in another email months back and likely to be missed.
the staff was really nice, waited for us till almost 24 hour
not so easy to find surrounding is bad bed is small shower head can not be fixed smoking room
Extremely noise at night.
Near to Taksim Square
Very noisy place, on a first glance the area looks dangerous, much contrast between Taksim area and these streets. The little kitchen doesn't have anything for cooking, I mean if you want to cook pasta it could be impossible because there is not any pot. You can't cook anything.
good location near taksim
no breakfast & roads outside the hotel are not clean
location is in a narrow street and in bottom of hill
the hotel is nearby the town center and people at the reception is doing the job perfectly to help you to find your way in istanbul
The girls from reception are very kind...
Really comfortable, really clean, really friendly staff, great shower, big room, nice AC that worked quickly.
Kids will be kids but the street where it's on had a swarm of kids who played extremely loudly until about midnight directly in front of the windows. Also while it's close to Taksim it's a pretty dodgy part.
Lack of electricity 3 times in 8 days (nearby the building only, has been not in the neighbourhood or city), the first two times around 45min, and the last time more than 2h30, just because some illegal workers doing electrical activities around the residence building. This is very bad situation when you come back at evening time and don't have electricity. Surrounding area of the residence is so awful, scary, very bad and dangerous. The area is extremely poor however very close of Taksim square. This area is not a safe area. The fare per night is incompatible with customer services, outdoor building space/environment, and quality services. There was not cleaning services, no daily changes of bath towels neither bed sheets. Every day was needed ask to clean the bedroom, and they didn't. They don’t understand what does mean customer services and/or customer satisfaction. The employee at reception desk was always on the defensive behaviour, without responsibility for anyone requested, no cordiality as if the host people had had the obligation, although they did not know their duties, as to host people, and didn’t understand how to provide the reasonable services like the basic service every day. The cleaner lady didn’t respect smoking area, because I asked for non-smoking room, and did smell smoke inside the room.
Rooms were clean and had most amenities required. In close proximity to Istiklal and Taksim square.
Hotel location is in a run-down street.
Everything is pretty much good.
First I would say thank for Engin and Sedar working at the front office.verry good location. value for money is execellent. The proprety is only 300 m far from taksim square.also taksim havatas station is near the hotel so you can go directly to the ataturk airport with non stop in the way for 15 lira per pax. En istanbul it's a simple hotel verry clean, housekeeping every day. Engin is a verry nice stuff , verry welcoming person , verry helpful always offer us coffee and tea during the day when we saw us at the lobby plus he had a charging card for the public transportation someone of the guest leave it at check out so engin try to help me and give it to me for not paying extra charges during our stay.the breakfast is verry simple , a plate including one peice of cheese , 3pieces of cuncumber , and 3 of tomatos ,2 salame , a piece of butter and gam , juice , and you choose boiled eggs or omlette. there is a mini market 5 m from the hotel door.
The area of the hotel is verry poor but it's verry safe 24hours a day
Room size was reasonable
Location and surroudings. Not easy to loacte the hotel. It is not worth the paying for a 2 star hotel
Nice and friendly staff, very good room and apart the initial problem with the shower pipe everything was OK; clean structure and breakfast served with everything we wanted: excellent location close to Taksim, main point for spending your nights.
WiFi not always working and location not in a very "luxury" area.
Staff are amazing people, really friendly and helpful Rooms design is cool and fresh
Children playing outside on the street it was noisy
Kindly staff, nice room. Taksim & Istiklal very nearby.
A bit noisy street.
Location very good in terms of facility reachable Food prise is reasonable
The noisy closed to hotel imagin at 12:00 midnight children play football in entrance of hotel I would recommend to apply sound proof then will be perfect
Location very good and very cleaner
I paid 20£ enough per night for one child without extra bed for me note good
