We stayed at Ephesian for 3 nights. Great location! 5 minute walk to restaurants & shops; 10 minute walk to catch the dolmus to Efes and the same to port to catch the ferry. Jay and his wife were very friendly and accommodating - great hosts!
The hotel is not on the first line, the sea not nearby, it is a little in the distance from bustling streets. For an elderly married couple it appeared big plus. And when we rose by an open terassa on the fifth floor, there was a feeling that we on a grief and all city under you. The huge moon, stars, on a terass is a barbecue, kitchen and even a shower. The owner, his wife and the daughter - very pleasant people.
The morning song of muezzins though one was magnificent. Noise from the street when in the morning someone swears. The window was held opened, afraid to be caught a cold from the conditioner. Sometimes it was necessary to merge long water in the morning that it became hotter.
Look no further! We stayed here for two nights while visiting Ephesus, Sardis, and Smyrna, and couldn't have asked for a better location as our base camp (at unbelievably affordable prices). A very short walk from the main street and coast, but very quiet and well equipped. Jay (The manager) is hands down the best, most accommodating hotel manager I've had. Would gladly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kusadasi, and hope to stay here on a future visit! Included: Free Wi-Fi, very clean rooms, terraces with amazing views, and traditional Turkish breakfast prepared by Jay and his wife!
Can't think of anything. No elevator, but Jay would gladly help you up the steps with any bags...
In the middle of town. You could buy food or do shopping at anytime you want We need to leave on 8am and landlord provide us early breakfast. That's great!
Owner and his wife were very helpful. We enjoyed our stay but it was a very simple accommodation.
Rooms were rather loud.
Friendly staff, very good location.
The owners are very kind and helpful. We had a room with a beautiful city view. The room was clean, the bed very comfortable.
Excellent family, charming, very helpful, went out of their way to help with various problems we had, and so, even with the location being very hard to get to, it was still very charming, and once we got the idea how to get there, the rest was great. Would go back there any time!
Location difficult access, very narrow lane, in the heart of old Kusadasi--but great local color and very very "turkish"! Loved it.
The owner is so helpful and friendly with very good English. Rooftop top breakfast is lovely, close to town and attractions, rooms are clean and comfortable. Great value for money.
I stayed four nights at Ephesian and had wonderful time. Owners were very friendly and always ready to respond to my requirements and questions. Close to the center of Kushadasi with super-clean room and delicious breakfast. Definitely want to go back again.
We spent 2 nights and stayed at a veri nice double room with views towards the town. The breakfast is provided on the rooftop and the views from there are just great! The owner was really helpful with tips and also helped us booking a car , as the other two companies we had initially booked with failed just on the day we needed a car to visit Pammukale. The owner and his family have always been very kind and attentive to us. It would be a pleasure to be able to come back! The pension is just located very centrally from the shopping and restaurants area and 5 ,minutes walk to the port.
We booked a cheap and small room for 1 night rest only, as we needed to take the ferry to Samos the next day. The owner made sure all guests who had to catch the ferry had chances to have an early breakfast and so it did happen. The pension is just in centre, 5 minutes walk to the port, with very kind and attentive staff. Great price/ quality!!
owner speaks good english, help me book shuttle to the airport & tour he is around like 24 hrs so really helpful rooms are not esp big but i think it really worths the price have to go uphill a bit located around the night club, interesting place to live. a bit far from the beach but can walk there
the tour i booked with the guesthouse is not that good
Although quite a steep climb up the hill, close to markets and port
The owner and his wife were friendly, helpful people. He has done a great job of renovating the building and running a hotel that is excellent value for money. He was very helpful with providing info and organising a taxi for me. They also put on the free breakfast early because we had to leave early in the morning.
Great view ,helpful and kind staff, you can compare with 5 stars , cozy, fell like home, remarkable privacy and safety .If you are looking for a pleasant holiday this is THE place.
very clean / fresh/ very polite staff
The staff is friendly and helpful. They agreed to serve (delicious) breakfast earlier. Rooms are spotless and the sitting area on the roof excellent.
The staff and hosts are very welcoming. The terrace upstairs where breakfast is served has a wonderful view above the city. Everything was fine and we'd come back anytime!
Give more information hiw to get there from otogar.
Clean, helpful and friendly people, comfortable, centre position, silence
It's close to the harbour and city center in an non-tourist neighborhood; excellent view from the rooftop terrace; staff is friendly and efficient; good value for money.
The stairway is steep and not well lit - there's a blind eye for the automatic light system.
The man at the front desk was one of the most helpful hotel staff we've come across on our trip. He gave us information for our trip to Samos, restaurants, doctors/hospitals etc. So refreshing to find someone that helpful!
The staff is helpful and kind. The hotel is on a hill at the beginning of the all city near the port. The terrace is very nice and faces both the old and the new city
Kusadasi is just a touristic ghetto. For us was only a point to sleep between Ephesus and Samos (Greece).
