This hotel is a wonderful value. It's in a great location, within a five minute walk to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, the Basilica Cistern, the Hippodrome, Topkapi Palace, the metro stop, and other attractions. The rooms are small and plain, but always kept clean, and nicely appointed. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. The breakfast, which is included in the price, is plentiful, good and different, at least for us Americans. I would not hesitate to stay there again.

Location of this hotel is right in the hub of Sultanahmet with major attractions a stones throw away. Plenty of restaurants in the area to choose from. Room was comfortable and clean. Big variety for breakfast.

Location is next to Blue Mosque and Sophia art museum, and tramway. Staff particular Sophia is super and always proactively provide attraction infomration that are not presented in tour books, such as Istanbul Modern. Breakfast is great for my 7 days stay. Excellent value for money.

    Room 301 has weird smell

The location of the hotel is great. Close to most major attractions with the tramvey within walking distance. Roof top terrace has a great view & breakfast is served here. All staff are very helpful, and Sophia is always willinging to share her knowledge on the city & beyond. She is a superstar!

The only real small negative is our shower screen door keep slipping off its rail but, this was a minor thing and was fixed promptly once this issue was made aware.

Fire escape was immediately in front of the windows and gave direct access to an abandoned area. Thinking that someone could easily climb up those stairs and watch or break into our room made us feel very insecure.

Best breakfast we'd had after 7 months on the road. Great employees (so friendly) and the location is super close to all the attractions. Great view from the deck too and a great place to chill out.

The room we stayed on the 1st floor was very small -- we are small people so that says something -- but highly recommend the sea view on the 2nd floor instead.

The location of this hotel was excellent for exploring Istanbul old town, the main tourist attractions and the main shopping areas. All of the staff were helpful and efficient at all times. Breakfast consisted of a variety of local dishes and plentiful fresh fruit and was served on a delightful roof terrace with great views over the sea.

I made a reservation for 5 nights at this hotel and was very pleased by their service. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, including the owner who gave me some tips about touring the city. The location of the hotel is ideally situated about a 5 - 10 minute walk away from the major tourist attractions in Sultanahmet (Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, etc.). If I could stay here again, I would. I felt that I got my money's worth.

The rooms are not very large, but I was only one person and spent most of my day outside exploring the city, so I didn't need much beyond sleep & showering.

We came with an almost impossible task for the staff: The flight from Bangkok arrived at 6 am and before 7 am we were at Konak. This was accepted with tremendous grace by the staff, and the breakfast was a memorable feast. On departure, at 4 am the staff member was up to help with the taxi and say good bye.

9 of us took the trip to Istanbul and stayed at the Hotel for 4 nights - every one of us agreed that it was perfect, due to the following reasons: 1. Location! - The location is just perfect, very close to Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. There is a small shop just below the Hotel that works till around 2am. 2. Terrace - this is probably the best thing about the Hotel - the view is amazing! We bought food and drinks and spent the late evenings drinking/hanging out on the Terrace, enjoying the beautiful moonlight view of the Bosporus (and were served tea/coffee for free on the Terrace as needed, any time of the day). 3. Staff - the staff were very helpful, always ready to answer questions (thanks Sophie!). The hotel arranged the transfer to and from the airport (for an additional fee of course). Also, there was a guy who was always ready to help - once I asked for directions to a place and he went 3 floors down and came back with a map, called someone who knew the place and then explained in detail how to get there) - we could not manage to thank him as he was not there the last day but we want to say "Vielen Dank!". 3. Other - rooms were clean and comfortable, breakfast was fine - I really have no complaints.

Sophia is a very warm and nice lady. The travel advices she gave us are quite helpful. Thanks to her, we did spend a wonderful time in Istanbul. The restaurant she recomended provide us delicious food in a reasonable price. The location of the hotel makes it convenient to reach all the important spots in Istanbul.

The room is clean but the bathroom is smelly.

wonderful location, good value, friendly and very helpful staff, atmosphere of a family unit. Street full of nice restaurants

A little noisy in the evening due to the animation in the Street, but it's something you can live with
