Close to Taksim square to catch the airport shuttle
Very nice hosts, frendly, helpfully. Very good location, with low prices. If you are young and not looking for 5 stars, it's perfect.
The bathtub not the clinest, don't forget your slippers.
Two young guys were in the reception which were friendly.
I think it is 5/10 not more. It didn't have an elevator. The table in the room was broken. There was no safe. Door had a key instead of card. No light in the corridor. Ceiling in the bath had a lot of water mark on it and it looked like an old flat.
Location Size of apartment Friendly staff Price
Only negaitve could be the slight lack of security as door downstairs is always open, which could be an issue being in such location. However in the 3 nights we stayed there we didn't have any problems
The staff was kind and helpful. An special THANKS to Dursun, he was always eager to help me whatever I could need, always with a smile.
My room was quite noisy, but the excellent location of Eva House Taksim and the kind attention of the personnel worths the stay!
Dorson is a very nice helpful person trying to do any thing to let you enjoy your stay. Wonderful emplacement just 100 m. from Taksin square.
Location is very good if you want to be near Taksim square. Restaurants and several other places to go. Transportation from and to is easy to find. (just like any other hotel nearby)
Room was not set as original request and we had to wait in the lobby for some arrangements to be done. Talking and getting to an understatement with the staff was not easy. No elevator. Dust could be found on several places. Hotel didn't do things as planned and after more than one month things are not yet resolved. Always cumming up with excuses and delaying the closer of process. This was a very bad experience and I regret to have made this reservation.
Very spacious appartment, comfortable beds, separate room for TV, calm room, very good location near Taksim Place.
TV had only a music channel.
Location very close to Taksim square, small but Nice bathroom, some value for money compared to other hotels. Dursun was very helpful during our stay and did whatever he can manage given the resources.
this is more like a furnished apartment than a hotel, no elevator, bad entrance, rooms smaller and less fancy than displayed pictures, doors manual and not electronic.
Best staff and location
it dosnt work the wifi , it was old and dirty all th building and the room , the room did clean it all these days. the hot water didn exist !!!! i took a bath twice with cold water . the told lie about all these problems . we asked per than 5 times to change hotel or room . all the building smell food. i dont have anything to tell. Only two people from the crew were nice and they help as
staff is friendly and very good especially mujahed
The personel were one of the best i have ever seen. There was a guynamed mucahid he helpef us a lot. Without his help we could not have seen istanbul to much. He told us where to go and how to get there. If you have a problem you can just ask him and he helps a lot. I would say that they really deserve a great star for personel. The hotel was in the heart of taksim. JUST GREAT GREAT
nothing....just the location was good....the other things were realy bad ....
Mojahed and Ezzat are two very Nice and helpful staff of Eva House!it was an excellent experience .I recommend the place to everyone!
minibar was empty and also wasn't cooling it was unplugged. There was no complimentary fruit plate even no water ... Room doors are unsafe and loosen and building also old.
My worst hotel experience I booked the standard suite for 3 people, we arrived late in the afternoon , it was actually an apartment with a living room, 1 bedroom , bathroom and three very small rooms, empty without windows and dirty . The building is very old no lift but we already knew that. We choosed this place for an overnight before catching the Havatas bus to the airport. The apartment was very dirty, the window in the bathroom was broken, also the one in the living room, imagine yourself in the middle of January to live in an apartment with open windows 24/24! ! After complaint, the living room window was blocked with a spoon, the one in the bathroom with a piece of iron, true DIY. When we arrived there was hot water but after 23h no more hot water, therefore it was not possible to take a shower at night, the next morning no hot water either, so we had to travel without taking a shower for 24hrs. We made the claim to the reception and the only answer was no answer, he just dropped his head. In reality it is a very old building not even designed to accommodate hotel customers, no hot water is available only when the city provides hot water that is to say one day out of 4 / 5, and of course this is not mentioned on booking.com or even at the hotel. It was a rip off, you pay just to have a bed, no hot water, no cleaning, nothing at all, even Turkish prisons must be more comfortable, I felt I was living the movie Midnight Express. Regarding pictures on booking, it is 100% photoshop low end, because the pictures of the bathroom with a little purple color is just to hide the dirt and grime place. As a result we have more or less slept two hours then have chained 15 hours of travel without a shower for more than 24 hours, we all arrived home sick from being tired and stressed of having been cheated in this way. PS: the noise of the shisha bar at the entrance goes until 2am therefore impossible to sleep.
very good location, a lot of restaurants on the same street and shopping area is nearby. Public transport stops (metro, tram, bus) are on the square in 5 mintes' walk from the hotel. Comfortable rooms (we enjoyed having the living room). Very helpful and friendly personnel. It is possible to order breakfast from cafe downstairs.
wi-fi connection isn't always good if your room is on one of the top floors
Only good thing about this hotel is that is very close to everything.
It's on a very noisy street. The rooms are dark, building is very old and not kept in a good condition. Hot water lasts for one person. It has a weird feeling. We left after one night and found a very nice hotel for the same price around the corner. I really don't know how this place has a score of 7... this is a 5. Sad thing is, if the owners really cared about this, with very little money they would have a nice property. But, with so many options in Istanbul, stay away.
We had the top floor apartment which had a separate living room. It was very spacious and clean. The staff are friendly and willing to assist you with any queries including making internet searches. Location is superb, 5 minutes to Taksim, Metro, cafes and it is at a busy street so especially for ladies, you will feel safe walking back to your hotel late at night.
There is no elevator and it was pretty tiresome to climb up to 4th floor. However, Mehmet and Mujahid were kind enough to carry our heavy luggages up to our rooms.
Friendly staff, in an excellent location, the room was really spacious and comfortable for 3 people, great that we had a lounge room and fridge and the price was excellent :)
The location was great.
Arrived at the hotel but they pulled the usual scam "There is a problem with your room and we booked you at our sister hotel." We did not stay at this hotel but pulling this type of scam is just not acceptable. I do not recommend this hotel.
The location is very close to Taksim square. restaurants and supermarket in the neighbourhood
the heating and hot water did not always work at the optimum level. Would not ever stay here with family
Was very clean and the staff were mostly helpful
They overcharged us and was quite a bit of a hassle getting it back. We did get it back and the staff were helpful but shouldn't have happened in the first place
