This place is the worst place that any human being can stay. From the dirtiest beds to the worst washroom. our room was never cleaned either don't book this place regardless of the photos or the money that you'll pay.....
The hotel situation
I had to pay on cash (they do not have credit card machine) and the price in Turkish liras was more expensive than in Euros.
Staff were not helpful. The pictures does not match the reality. It is dirty and old. Sometimes not even hot water.
Location was good.
I am sorry but hygiene was at a low standard.
the staff was very polite and kind
the hotel was not clean at all and rooms are overcrowded with the furniture
Bathroom door cannot be locked
The only good point is the location..
The staff were rude, the room was insanely nasty, and I am not a prude, I have stayed in some pretty "mean" hotel rooms. But this place beat anything I have ever stayed in. I booked well in advanced, paid for 5 nights when I got there, and after 2 nights, and a dozen of bedbug bites later, I left. They did not refund my money, and in fact yelled at me for leaving. The bed linen was nasty, the towels were nasty, but the bugs took the cake. There was no internet in the room, there was no lobby to go to for internet. The "cafe" was on the 6th floor, with no lift, and there was no internet there, either. The photos on Booking.com are photo shopped. This was the most horrendous place I've ever experienced. On the other hand, after 2 nights I went to Hotel Aquarium, just a few blocks away, and it was wonderful. Oh, and Eve Hotel was supposed to have a shuttle bus to pick me up from the airport, it wasn't there. I have the confirmation email saying that they would be there, but alas, I had to take a taxi. Stay at Eve House if you are absolutely desperate, but otherwise, find somewhere else. It is a total flee-bag hotel.
Scruffy - holes in walls, wallpaper hanging off wall. Very run down. Not cleaned once during our 3 night visit - not even bin emptied.
Excellent location; roof terrace with view of Blue Mosque. Friendly staff, the male staff member brought up suitcases up the floor, across the scary stairs. Though there was little to choose from at the buffet breakfast, the female staff member appolognized, and than made some scrambled eggs for us, fair play on her. Early morning just before 6 am we experience the chanting sounds from the nearby Blue mosque.
Cramped room, not working room fridge, beds were made up, but unsure if room was cleaned. No WiFi. Just one working tv Turkish channel (called S). We were in room 102, on the 1st floor, we could not sleep until 10 am, due to noise from downstairs. Next day we discovered there is a Dry cleaner company downstairs. We waited nearly 1 hour outside for a shuttle to the airport, next day at checkout (we only stayed one night, as previously we stayed at the The Luxx hotel (old city) and Marma Hotel (Asian side), thankfully the money 27 Lire (or 5 Eur each) was returned, than we took a taxi instead.
Location , location, location was fantastic
Rooms were very small Wallpaper peeling off walls Bathroom was terrible, erratic hot water , so small , toilet leaking , towels threadbare , bed linen stained , no extra pillows , pretty shoddy
Very dirty, not possible dirty Hotel!!!!!! I was there 2 days I was bitten. they have tick cockroaches everywhere. Reception can not speak English and not friendly. We do not order. There is a very dangerous area!!!! ' I will never recommend or advise there.!!!' This photo There's all a lie!!! they have not made repairs. they do not clean.
only the top floor were i had my brake fast because we can see the bleu mosk.
every thing else was very bad. too expensive for this hotel , i paied 40 euro a nigth and i did nt like the stuff and the service. no phon in the room, very bad wifi connection, no hot water , there is TV but it dont work , very small bath rooms and very noisy place.
Small, dirty rooms, with torn wallpaper, strong smelling of mold, couldn't to sleep normally. Dirty and smelly bathroom. The really condition of rooms is not as shown in the photos. There is no wardrobe or something else that could put a luggage. No lift, narrow and dangerous stairs. The hotel needs of complete renovation! Breakfast is very poor, only bread, eggs and jam. Believe me you don't wanna stay here...
The view from restaurant is really nice
The rooms are very small, in the bad is not enough space. The hot water is stopping every 2 minutes....the breakfast is between 8-10 and if you go at 9 everything is already finish.
Space of rooms
Clean and the Place and price and stuff and breakfast are Good
The only good thing is its vicinity.
Hotel room is quite narrow, badly designed, just a place to sleep.
dirty rooms with bad services*habitaciones sucias con malos servicios*
Dirty and smelly bathroom, small room, no elevator
It was so boring. The main and first thing that I want to tell you is that they are too big liars. Their picture of hotel was completely different with the real room. Also the staff was so impolite and did not respect to his customer. The room was so dirty and small.it was written in booking.com about 25m2, but it was about 9 m2. No cleaning service during stay. So weak wifi. So dirty with no facilities bath.
Location is perfect. Awesome staff. Like it very very much. Thank you to booking com, Thank you to Eve House !!!
Poor Air conditioning.... Staff were rude.... always asking for tips (bakhshes)... breakfast was pathetic... Not reccomended at all !
The view is the only thing that is good, testimony to those pictures put up and what you pay for.
Ridiculous staff and support. Horrible stair-case (very dangerous). Poor air conditioner (It used to leak); never functioned properly (It was very hot too). Regular power cuts, especially at night. Very poor breakfast (supplies aren't refreshed). Low water pressure. No hot water (only cold). Very congested room. Fridge never bothered working. Even budget and basic hotels must have redeeming qualities. It definitely a NO GO.
It's really bad and the breakfast is a joke .. Believe me you don't wanna stay here .. When there's thousand guest houses near the blue Mosque
Perfect for the money you will pay. Very nice staff except the poor English. For 1-2 nights is perfect.
Nothing if you take in account the money you pay.
