Surrounded with many of Istanbul’s historic attractions, Faros Hotel offers bright rooms on a lively corner in the Sultanahmet district. The tram stop is just 165 yards from the hotel. All elegantly decorated rooms are equipped with satellite flat-screen TV, minibar and free Wi-Fi. Many rooms offer views of the Aya Sofia and the Bosphorus Straight. The bathroom comes with a modern shower cabin. A daily breakfast buffet is served in Faros’s dining room and room service is provided. Guests can sample Turkish cuisine on the street level terrace of the Central Pub Restaurant, which is open for drinks 24/7. Istanbul’s traditional Covered Bazaar is 5 minutes by foot from the hotel. the place is excellent,ideal for shoping and turism.the stuff is kind and helpfull. the rooms are small,not so clean and on the last floor are almost awful!don't stay there,especialy in the terrace room!

It was very convinent. One of the staff said that he could arrange for free drop off since I stayed in the hotel for 6 days. On the day, he said it was not possible. The same staff, asked me my marital status, and while we were in the elevator alone, he pinched my face & said "You are beautiful." I found him inappropriate.

The stuff was very friendly and cooperative + their restaurant had very nice pasta The room I stayed was a btt small and the curtains did not protect from the sun, so in the morning room was very bright

Had a very pleasant stay,personel was very polite and all spoke english. Excellent location to see all history and easy to move around by tram. Spacious room on the first floor and inspite your sitting on a busy road the noise wasnt so bad.only minor was the small shower

The location, the comfort of the hotel room. The restaurant serves good food too. Noisy it's right next to the tram line but once the tram stops operation, it's quite throughout the night.

This is one of the best boutique hotel we stayed, excellent location, staff, food, and the room size and comfort, best value overall. Particularly the central location is uncomparable, close to all major historical attractions.The T1 Tram in front of the hotel can take you to major sopts. Hotel staff is very nice to answer questins and offer help. I strongly recommend staying in Faros while vacationing in Istanbul.

The hotel near for all intrest places in istanbul They try to give us doubel room with extra bed but we reserve trouble room and when we ask them to change it they say we think that will be ok for you becouse all our room reserved and one of our coustmer should accept it.

Nice hotel in the heart of the old city. Saint Sophia, Blue Mosque and other mail attractions are less than 3 min. By feet. Grand Bazaar it just in the next corner. Rooms are very small

The room was spacey, location excellent, good breakfast, friendly staff, may be a bit too expensive for the level of standard offered service in the restaurant of the hotel fair - we reserved the table but when we came the table was offered to somebody else, we were waiting long for taking the orders, bread was given in the end of the meal etc
