Wonderful staff running this small family hotel, consistently kind and helpful. Lots of nationalities staying here, in a very relaxed atmosphere. Rooms are basic but comfortable. Breakfast by the pool overlooking olive groves and orange trees is lovely, with fresh produce from the garden. The location is ideal, quiet but just a short stroll down the hill into the little village of Patara with a surprisingly good selection of cafes and restaurants. Visiting out of season in April the local Dolmus minibusses were a bit erratic and our own transport would have been good, but when it gets busier there are lots of transport options to the beach and nearby towns. We enjoyed the couple of kilometers walk down to the beach anyway, through stunning Lycean ruins open to discover at your leisure. Great place to stay for a low key, unspoilt Turkish holiday and excellent value. Nothing about the hotel, recommend it. Mosquitos are prolific, but the rooms have nets on the windows and mossie nets over the beds. Bring plenty of repellant for evenings out.

Very friendly hosts, nice location on the edge of the village, spacious room and very clean. Delicious oranges straight from the tree - they even gave us some to take with us when we left.

The family that run the hotel are very friendly. Breakfast was as fresh as it could possibly be... The food is straight from their own gardens! My only criticism is the beds could have better quality linens to make them more comfortable.

Charming house and beautiful gardens, friendly welcome from the family, relaxed and helpful service, very clean throughout (rooms, pool etc), very good evening meals, fruit and vegetables offered at breakfast home grown and quite delicious. Tea offered free on the terrace in the evenings. Bathrooms very well appointed, beds comfortable, air conditioning and mosquito nets effective. Charming balconies with super views. Pretty cats and an amazing rabbit. Patara is a very attractive little village, with many nice restaurants (some not so good) and some shops, plus ATM. Ferah is just a few steps from the centre of the village, which is 5 minutes drive from the perfectly unspoiled beach - this also has a good cafe. Breakfast could have had more variety, better coffee would have improved it. Rather a lot of mosquitos. Clothes storage in bedrooms limited.

Ferah Hotel is in a very nice location away from the noise of the center but still at walking distance from it (~ 6/7 min walking). It has really nice rooms, large beds and a nice swimming pool. mosquitos ... but it's a problem of the whole area, not only of Ferah Hotel :)

Ferah hotel is situated in Patara. Patara is a beautiful vilage, a little wild but so specaculos. The beach is about 2 km and the road takes you through Patara site, the ancient city. There is an entrance fee and you can buy a special card, for multiple entrances, PlajCard. If you are travelling with children, keep in mind there is a long way to the beach, but cars are alowed through the ancient city, up to 200 m from the beach. We were traveling in the begining of March and it was kind of windy, but i am sure there is a strong sun in the summer. The beach is sandy, suited for children, very long, about 16 km. It is so big, it is not crowdy even in high season! It has also spectaculos sand dunes, from where you can enjoy an awesome sunset. The area is full with moschitos, winter or summer, because of the little river/lake near by. You will absolutely need protection, indoors and outdoors. Even in March sun was strong enough for some tan, about 20 degrees celsius. A little chill in the night. From Patara you can visit Kas, Fethyie, Oludeniz. It is kind of hot in the summer, so better visit around in autumn or spring. Ferah hotel is situated on a hill, a car is needed to move around. This is a family run hotel (Fatima and Ramazan), situated in a beautiful garden with olives and orange trees, where children can play safe. There is a swiming pool, but it was too cold to try it. They even sell olive oil for a decent price. Rooms are basic, but confortable. Very clean, spotless. We had a king size bed, confortable and cozy.bed lights for a reading in bed. Bathroom clean, hot water 24 hours per day. Very good wifi in rooms. Breakfast is served in turkish style and everything is fresh, homemade. Orages are basicly taken from the trees in front of you, same with olives, sweets are homemade by Fatima, like apple, orange and abricot confitures and so many others... The food is delicios. Everything was perfect. Moschitos are a serious issue, so remember about protection indoors and outdoors.
