Not enough staff
The room and views were fantastic.
The food was not to our liking - therefore we ate out most of the time.
Our room was spotless and very comfortable beds. The view spectacular. Food overall very good and lots to choose from.
We travelled end of season so staff shortage evident. Music blaring during day at pool bar more suited to club 18-30 and poor entertainment in evening.
The staff The food (amazing and so much variety) The location - stunning views from all rooms, mountain backdrop was amazing Wifi - usually very weak in most hotels but Garcia wifi was really good with loads of different connections from different locations
Nothing everything was perfect
The room was fantastic, comfortable, spacious and clean when we first arrived. Shower in room was great too. Treatments at spa were great and great value for money Bar the Dj the evening entertainment was good. Oludeniz beach was great day out and great having free bus as taxis expensive The hotel has the potential to be a 5 star but is no where near yet. Seems alot to do with poor management.
No where near enough staff. Some great members of staff I.e. spa reception, photographer, ladies on the evening bar, 2 male waiters and 2 male chefs but the rest were useless and often rude. The good staff were spread to thin to get any quality from them. Cleanliness standards were poor. Great when we arrived but declined throughout week.in Room; never moped with a wet mop only a dry?, surfaces not cleaned, towels often put on balcony to dry rather than giving us fresh ones, bins emptied but no replacement bin liners, toiletries not replenished. Spa facilities were good but needed a proper scrub down, looked like they'd never had a proper clean. Literally thousands of wasps round the pool. Pools freezing even the one heated one. Baby pool Baltic, no baby would survive! Indoor pool and indoor jacuzzi also cold. Not 2 alacarte only one and in no way alacarte. They just served the buffet food a bit nicer on a plate to you - very disappointing seens how they only cater for 20 a night and you have to beg for a space. Variation of food in buffet was good but quality of meat, chicken was poor. You often had to clean your own tables breakfast and night. Sometimes not even enough tables for dinner. Sales rep mustafa and evening DJ could not have been more rude and arrogant if they tried. I could go on but better leave it at that. Had we paid full price would have been livid like other guests but we booked last min so got a good deal and could laugh it off. Will not be returning.
Modern Clean Pools Stunning views Swim up rooms
Language barrier an issue for staff Pools extremely cold Food very repetitive and often lukewarm Restaurant staff disorganised and guest often had to clear and reset own tables
Staff was excellent
Sauna must open from 7am till 11.30pm.
staff very good Excellent rooms with great balconies Front desk always there to help Pool bar staff excellent
Food was terrible The rooms not cleaned properly Wasps everywhere Very loud music around pools
Food amazing staff fab the hotel and situation great
The pool was very large, very clean and quite beautiful. There was second pool for organized activities and another pool for young children, so the main pool remained calm for swimming and relaxing. Also liked all the food choices. It was a very relaxing, easy place to stay.
It felt isolated. Although it was easy to take a shuttle bus or taxi to get to the town or to do activities, it was not so easy if you wanted to walk places.
We visited the Garcia hotel in June and found there were a lot teething problems which were understandable for a brand new hotel. We re-visited the hotel in September expecting the problems to be sorted out, however the problems were worse. Cold food and many cost cutting issues in place. While we were there the hotel sacked the animation team, the head chef and some other staff, which made our stay less than enjoyable.
We stayed at the swim up room and was very clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and friendly.
The dining hall's outside seating area was unusable due to a large number of wasps always being present.
All in general was pretty good only few details can improve
A bit the cleaningness
The location of the hotel & setting. The pools, slide & overall feel of the hotel..the Turkish baths, massage. Food hit & miss.
People reserving sun loungers then not using them. Which meant no-one else could! Service was hit & miss. Entertainment could have been better.
Brand new hotel, but unexperienced staff, three star food, construction defects, bad smell, dirty bed linen, noisy music...
We were looking for a totally chilled time and we got it. Kids loved the water slides and water polo and were happy that there was nowhere for us to drag them off to easily! There are plenty of trips if you choose and olu deniz is a few minutes (25 lira) in a cab. We went to the beach and water park and had one evening in olu deniz. We were otherwise content doing not very much around the hotel. The staff are lovely although don't speak much English and the food was very good; there was plenty of choice and the salads, soups and breads were fab. Friday night is Turkish themed in the buffet restaurant and was good. Don't be surprised that you won't get pork sausage or bacon products as it's turkey, they shouldn't be criticised for that in my view. The drinks were good quality and you could get cocktails without a fuss.
Felt the build of the hotel was rushed in the end and not sure it will stand the test of time. A few improvements, eg handrails on stairs to water slides would make a big difference. The guests were mostly English and reserved sunbeds the night before! The hotel tried their best to manage it. We were there in august and the hotel was full, as it got quieter towards the end there were plenty beds free after 9 so assume it gets easier out of peak season.
beautiful pools room was nice and spacious with a good big balcony good facilities
Sitting outside having our evening meal at Sophias restaurant, with kids music blasting down at the pool until 10pm. The food was very average. There were a lot of areas of the hotel that didnt seem finished or were finished poorly. The sheets on one of the beds had dirty brown stains on it. The music by the pool was insanely loud. Like being in a club on the dancefloor. Not relaxing at all.
We liked very much the soacous rooms, extra large wardrobes and walk in showers, huge balconies. There is is a free shuttle service to the beach and the location of the hotel is very nice. The pools are clean the service at the poolbar is good.
As the hotel is new some things still needs te get settled which is normal to me. But some things can't be changed. The toilets at the restaurant and pool are disgusting, I've never seen them clean. The hotel restaurant is very small so when you arrive at 8.30 you have to queue for 20 minutes to get a table. By then it is almost 9.00. The quality of the breakfast salads and starters is good but the main courses are very poor. We got pita meat twice in a week which is a pitty for a 5 star hotel. The a la carte restaurant was full all the time, we booked on monday the first free day was thursday. The food and service was exquisite. I was nicely suprised.
Decor location food.
The road is a dert read. And is not easy to find.
The pool bar drinks were excellent especially in the evenings, could not fault the all inclusive cocktails. Turkish spa lovely.
Food-very repeatitive. Couldn't book into the Turkish or Fish restaurant as they were fully booked for the week we were there.
The rooms were nice, clean and comfortable. The Pool areas and water slides were good for kids. Poolside staff and other staff around hotel were pleasant, apart from reception staff who could barely speak English .
On arrival they had mixed up the booking. Other guests had no rooms available as the hotel was over booked. We got awaken @ 11.00pm by a porter showing a couple into our 11 year olds room whilst he was asleep in bed. They then insisted that we go to reception as they had lost our booking and believed we had only booked 1 room. Jasmin in reception was rude and clueless!! she then locked our son in the room and invalidated our access cards. She said we should check out if not happy ( At 11.00pm?) Other guests waiting in reception for over 2 hours with no rooms available. We were pointed out the Manager and so called owner, who could not speak any English at all. They were more interested in having a cigarette. Jasmin then said she was quitting and went outside to join them for a cigarette. We ended up having to threaten to force entry to the room if they didn't re activate the cards. After this was done we went to bed. We went straight to reception the following morning and complained about our experience and even the staff said that Jasmin had no idea and was rude. There were people queuing up at Reception with Complaints. The food was only average. We checked out without completing our stay! This hotel is in serious need of English speaking staff on Reception and a Management team. The Hotel is never a 5 star!!!
This hotel is fantastic. The location is wonderful and the hotel is beautiful in every way.
Food isn't international enough and the variation is purely. Not one Day during our stay, we could be in the pool area without employes from the hotel spa and hairdresser tried to sell us treatments. Sometimes up to 5-6 times a day, they tried to convince us to buy!.-This put a lot of stress on our family - as you expect on a 5 star luxury hotel to be total relaxed. The spa and hairdresser department should be an offer to hotel guest,- if they feel like it,-not something that's forced on one!
Great food and service... Especially mojito was awesoem at the pool bar..
The pools were excellent
Being over charged, because of the exchange rate at the time of paying when we got there. Wifi very poor. Had to get a taxi out of the resort every day, not close enough to walk anywhere.
hotel, rooms, food, staff all excellent, entertainment girls FAB!!!! would go back in a minute.
