The Garden House is a small comfortable hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious.The buffet breakfast was excellent. I shall use the hotel again when i next return to Istanbul. Nothing much i didn't like.

Very friendly staff. All of them are very good and helpful. No regret to have had stayed there. Location is good but not the best because you have to walk a little to the main attraction areas like the Hippodrome centre where most restaurants are located. Room at the top floor, i.e. 4th or 5th floor. Need to walk right to the top. No lift, but it is not that bad.

Staff is very helpful, hospitable and kind. They are always ready to help. I like breakfasts till 10:30 that it is very comfortable as you can sleep in the morning. Location is very good to all historical places (Blue Mosque and tram station are about 5 minutes walk). And, bottle of wine with baskets with fruits were so delicious and refreshing after flight. During all day you can drink coffee, milk, tea or water with buscuits in the tea area where you can spend spare time and have snacks and watching TV. Rooms are not big as it was expected.

Excellent personnel. Hot drinks and cookies free of charge. The shower in our room did not have normal walls or curtain so we had wet floor in the bathroom every time after taking shower. Cosmetics in the bathroom were rather poor. Soundproofing of room door was really bad.No lift in this hotel.

The Garden Hotel is amazing. We stayed in one of the Rose Suites for a long weekend in December 2012. The bedroom was stunning, staff were friendly and helpful, the location is fantastic- literally 5 minutes to the Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque, about 12 minutes to the Grand Bazaar, ten minutes to Topkapi.. the hotel really made the weekend special and so enjoyable. Definitely would stay here again, recommend it to friends etc. It was brilliant, so glad we chose it.

Loved everything... Staff, easy to get to things, great breakfast Could hear people in corridor sometimes annoying. Would have loved a movie channel as I stayed for 9 days in total

I got free upgrade to a nice room at the Rose garden suites and the room was cozy with a nice terrace. But above all, I would like to point out the great staff they have. Mr. Celcuk, the hotel manager is excellent and very friendly. After I checked out the hotel, I realized I forgot something in the fridge. Mr. Celcuk remembering me immediately retrieved the items and its now on my way! I was on transit so stayed only one night but as I love istanbul, I will definitely come back to the Garden House Istanbul again!!!!! Great value for money!!!

Garden House was in a great location in the old city. Within walking distance to anything you desire. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Lovely terrace for relaxing. Great breakfast. Walking up the stairs was a challenge but worth it.
