In Goreme National Park, this family-run hotel is in a Turkish stone building and offers vaulted rooms in the rustic décor. The staff can arrange hot-air balloon trips.

Score from 157 reviews Very good
The house owner booked metro bus tickets for us in advance or otherwise we would not be able to meet our initial schedule. The staff is a college student aiming to be a tour guide after graduation. Nice experience there.
Everything is perfect
Good central location
Breakfast is substandard. Minor maintenance is lacking (burned out lightbulbs do not get replaced, etc)
Location close to Otogar and little shops, cafes Excellent view Comfortable rooms with warm blankets Hot water and good bathroom Kettle and complimentary tea in the room
Very poor breakfast, personnel in canteen area serves food in outdoor clothes
The hotel is wonderful, in The centre of goreme but really quiet. Good breakfast in a fantastic terrace with view. Room clean and very nice. Murat and his staff helped me ti organize all my transfer, visit, reservation.... Wonderful people! The best place To stay in goreme.
We broke our car during the trip and the guys at the reception were really helpful with everything (calling, organizing...). Perfect position
Hotel has a great location, right next to the village center. The atmosphere is charming and cozy. The rooms are simple but comfortable and clean. Friendly and helpful staff; they organize all the activities from hot air ballooning and day-trips, to airport transfers. The breakfast was very good and had a great roof top view.
A ceiling fan or air conditioner would have been nice. The curtains were too thin and let in too much light enter. I didn't recommend the first floor. During the night you can hear the guests of the hotel arriving and leaving, and talking loudly.
Location and not too far up the hill with only a few stairs. Terrace was nice for breakfast which was ample - can ask for an omelette. Pleasant surroundings and outlook.
Nothing to report. a couple of chairs outside the terrace room we had would have been nice but roof top was pleasant anyway
We have stayed 3 nights at Goreme House and this stay has been the best of our journey in Turkey in termes of the location of the house and of the quality of service we received.
Because of location, silence, cleanless and owner's advices, very precious for our holiday
The hotel was clean and the staff was extremely accommodating. We arrived at the Goreme bus station and they offered to pick us up even though it was a 5 minute walk (uphill) to the hotel. Upon arrival, Murat (owner) made every effort to ensure we were comfortable even though we arrived extremely early (arriving at 9 AM). He even offered us breakfast! Murat also assisted us in seeing the local attractions and was always willing to go the extra mile to make us feel comfortable.
Rooms are cosy; however during the hot weather an aircon or room fan would be great to assist circulation. No elevator at the hotel and with multiple floors this might be a problem for some, however the staff was willing to assist with our luggage.
Great attention, fantastic location and good breakfast on the top roof.
If you decide to stay here, choose a room on the second or third floor. We stayed on the first one and didn't like it... About the cleaning, it could have been better, although it was not a disaster.
Location is very good. Murat and the staff are very helpful. I can recommend to everyone
Murat and other staffs are great and helpful. Our Trip felt like a breeze, we didnt have to worry about anything since Murat and others working there booked the Tour for us and told us where to go, what to do.
gentle, very helpful staff. The owner gets into contact with you already before your stay in order to prepair for ex. the balloon flight. Great price for value. Well-located--a few blocks from town center so quieter. Great view from rooftop breakfast area. Excellent breakfast.
evrything was grat, thanks to Murat Dinc the gentle owner of this place
Murat is an excellent host, he picked us up from the bus stop and arranged everything from hot air ballooning to airport transfers. He was very friendly and always up for a chat. Great staff and the hotel is so quiet and relaxing. Take a short walk up the hill behind Goreme house to watch amazing sunsets and early morning balloons at sunrise!
The staff was fully helpful from the very beggining with any request we had. They made our stay so easy and they were allways ready to make us comfortable.
Actually there wasn't anything that bothered us.
The view on the balcony, big nice toilet, lounge area, easiness for booking tours, location
No air conditioning or fan, no refrigerators, slow or sometimes unavailable wifi
We loved our stay at Göreme House, it was one of the best hotels we stayed in during our trip around Turkey. The staff was very helpful. The view from the top was magnificent.
At 4.30 cars were racing down because of morning prayers, so it woke us up twice. No aircondition, however it wasn't too hot during our stay.
A ceiling fan or air conditioner would have been nice
The location couldn't be better. 2 minutes walk to downtown, supermarket, look out for sunset. Great roof top for breakfast & views of fairy chimneys.Murat, the owner and all staff are knowledgeable, friendly & can make any itinerary bookings for you too.
The rooms are cool which helps in the summer minths but a fan could assist with air movement in the room.
nice and very helpful staff, good position, very nice building
poor breakfast. Dust in the room above the furniture and bed (despite having asked to clean it for 2 days). Bad smell coming from the bathroom.
The convenience to the town, the provision of coffee and tea on their terrace 24/7 so we could relax after a tiring day. Nice views of the town without having to walk steep hills every day to the hotel. The shower cubicle was large with modern showerheads.
Definitely did not like the extremely loud mosque noise at 4.15am every morning. The room was a bit small, but comfortable. The water could have been a bit hotter. The curtains were too thin and let in too much light, especially as there was a bright street light just outside the entrance,
Staff was very helpful. Location was great.
