Emrah, Münevver, Elif... thanks so much. Great breakfast. Great location and beautiful sight for breakfast. There was a need for the replacement of the showerhead and there wasn't a need for a second request. Finally, wake up at 6:00am and watch the hot air balloons lift off.
Emrah and his staff ! The room, the location.....the cat, it's impossible to wish something more
Attentive staff, super room, lovely breakfast, excellent location.
Emrah (the hotel manager) and the hotel staff were very nice and caring with all of us (especially with our daughters, 6 and 8 years-old). Having a yummy breakfast at the terrace overlooking the Cappadocian landscape is a totally amazing experience. Emrah reccomended Okan and Samet to be our guides during our stay and we had a wonderful time with them. Whenever we go back to Goreme, this is our place to stay!
The resident manager of this Establishment is a truly outstanding guy who will go out of his way to make your stay a memorable one. I had the cave suite which was superb and comes with a terrace outside the room with views. Breakfast was super, in the garden which also has views. Be aware that you will be staying a steep climb up the hill in order to have these views but you would not want to stay lower down which is just a cheap tourist trap. There is also a simple but excellent family run resto right next to the hotel - also with wonderful views - so going down the hill is rendered even more unnecessary. Was picked up and transferred to the bus stop for free.
Nothing not to like!
Emrah was extremely helpful. When our airport transfer which was scheduled for 340 did not arrive, he was easily reachable and resolved the matter quickly. The room was nice, cosy and clean. Hot water was readily available 24 hours a day
Emrah could not have been mire helpful. Great value for money, excellent service, and we are glad we stayed.
Great location, great views, off centre so more peaceful but close enough to walk to town. Emerer and his team are phenomenal. Unbelievably helpful and kind. Would very much recommend Goreme Suites to anyone visiting.
We didnt like leaving!
Staff in Goreme Suites are very nice, helpful, and always ready to help. They give me very good suggestion on travelling, on resturants. The hotel is very clean, and the breakfast is great!
It was a completely new experience staying in a cave hotel. Spectacular views of fairy chimneys from the upper bedroom and enjoyed the privacy of our private balcony and lower courtyard. The family suite was perfect for our family of four and exceeded our expectations. Close walking distance to the main street and restaurants, and secluded enough within a quiet part of Goreme. Emrah, the manager, welcomed us and went out of his way to make us feel at home.
A safe in the room would be nice although the area felt extremely safe, you could almost leave your doors unlocked.
Very friendly and helpful staff, they did everything to make us comfortable, and had even some very fine details as spreading rose petals in our room or inviting us with a glass of local wine at sunset.
Entire hotel staff was extremely warm, helpful, took care of all our needs. Suberb. Must mention that Elif, Bahar, Emrah were like family to us. Their recommendations on everything was marvelous. Samit, their travel consultant took us to some of the nicest places. Great place to stay, great location and value for money. Thanks for taking care of us.
The service was impeccable. The location amazing, cleanliness was great and Emrah the manager was so amazing.
The hotel manager was very friendly and accommodating. We felt right at home and he was willing to help us out with anything we required. He and his staff was very kind and hospitable. The lobby and kitchen area are cozy and we felt very comfortable relaxing there and using the WIFI. The rooms were built into a cave and so that provides an interesting and unique experience. The hotel has a two story balcony with beautiful views of Cappadocia's caves and fairy chimneys. The breakfast was filling and excellent and any request were happily provided. It was served on the balcony which made it very special. We were able to park our car on site which was very convenient, and with our car we were able to visit many places of interest within any where from a few minutes to one hour.
That the bedrooms were on two different levels and away from the main hotel. The first floor bedroom was very small and seemed cut off from the room above. The bathroom was very small and that made things challenging, but that is because the size is constrained by the cave walls. There was construction going on so we had to ruin our suitcases to get them through the construction debris to get to our room. The WIFI connection in the room is not good, but again it is because you are in a cave.
We liked the price and the location. We found the staff superb. there was a nice mixture of nationalities: travelers from the People's Republic of China were friendly, with a variety of background experiences.
It ended too soon.
Reception guy is very kindly. I am not sure , His name is embra Especially breakfast was so good. If i want more bread , he gave me lot of bread and drink. I recommend him.
But wifi signal was so weak and slow. And water strong in the bathroom was weak. I think that there were big problem specially Wifi.
Great location, fantastic views form suits from a huge tarrace. Emar the hotel manager arranged all the tours incl. fantastic balloon flight and was so attentive. Thanks Emar and Thanks to Bahar and Elif for super service. Jacek, Poland
We chose to stay at Goreme Suites based on the reviews, and were not disappointed. It exceeded our expectations, while the staff Emrah (at reception), Elif and Bahor were fantastic. They arranged our Balloon Ride, our Green Tour and served the best breakfast we have experienced in Turkey. The fried eggs were delicious and very welcome. Our Cave room (and bathroom) were very spacious while the view from the private terrace was fantastic, especially when the Balloons were outside at 6.30am. The Hotel was easy to find and only a 10 minute walk (although uphill) from the Otogor. The Hotel comes highly recommended although a little bit more expensive than your average Turkey Hotel.
Nothing to fault.
Staff so friendly and helpful in getting us truly great guides and signing us up for activities. However, we did find and negotiate (well) our own balloons and got something just as high end, with Kaya Balloons, for less. Very pretty rooms and furnishings. For all of us, Cappadocia was our favorite part of Turkey and for many in the group (3 generations, 2 rooms, 6 people), this was their favorite hotel. Very comfortable, pretty, great views just outside the door.
Suite (3 adults) description very misleading -- is one Queen bed (not one Queen plus one King) plus one twin bed. But staff set us up a super-comfy cot for our second daughter, and didn't even charge us extra. So this could go in the "what I did like" column just as easily! I do wish that breakfasts had been a bit more varied (some fresh fruit or juice would be welcome). It seemed a tad overpriced, and I might rather try a hotel actually in a real cave or fairy chimney. But perhaps those are even MORE overpriced -- it may just be the going rate for this area is high. Note that it's a big walk down/up the hill -- but do-able if you're active.
Really good location, it's near the downtown and the view is fantastic,it was my second time in Cappadocia, the first time we paid too much for a nice Cave hotel, the time I choose carefully, end up its even better than I thought!
Everything is good!
1) Hospitality from staff, Mr. Emrah Zorlu is beyond comparison. He's always pleasant, attentive and made perfect arrangement for our tour and airport transfer. If I have to rate his service, it is 20 out of the scale of 10. Highly recommended from me and all of my family members. 2) The view of our rooms is fantastic. Enjoy watching balloons flying by in the morning.
This is not a dislike but a comment. Goreme Suites is a cave hotel so it is unfair to compare its facility with a five star hotel. However, rooms are clean and do satisfy all basic needs.
Everything was perfect. Staff very helpful. Mr. Emrah and Ms.Deniz booked for us Green, Red and Ballon Tours. You can trust them, they offered the best. Hotel has fantastic location- a little bit out center with great view over valley, you can watch sunset, very quiet at night. Super breakfast served on tereace. Highly recommend for nature lovers.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Aysegdl, Emrh, and Jacob were extremely helpful and friendly, they made us feel at home. Great location! We really enjoyed the hotel.
This is located on the edge of town so is quiet, with great views of the fairy chimneys. We got a great breeze in the room. Nice room for a family, it was a loft situation which gave the kids and parents some privacy. Very cool bathroom carved into the rock. Very comfy bed. We also could sit outside on the roof and the balcony table. We had gotten food poisoning so ended up sleeping/recovering in this room quite a bit. The hotel was super about letting us check out late so my son could recover. The breakfast was really good (this is not where we got sick!). The staff was very helpful about getting the balloon rides and tours set up ahead of time, and this was our favorite part of our trip to Turkey.
We didn't mind but it's a hike up to the hotel. There was this dog across the valley that barked constantly. I mean, *constantly*!
The hospitality of staff was great. Göreme itself was unforgettable place We had one bus tour and ballooing booked by our hotel. Both trips were exellent
