Only 180 metres from the beach, between the hills and the sea, this family-run hotel overlooks fruit orchards and beautiful, lush gardens, creating the perfect family destination.

With a beautiful Mediterranean beach only minutes away, the Grand Aygun Hotel prides itself in offering great hospitality and activities for its guest, with a focus on ecotourism holidays.

There are 16 bedrooms, all with en suite bathrooms, balconies and air conditioning. The ground-floor bedrooms have direct access to the gardens. Rooms on the first and second floor have views of Cirali and the Mediterranean Sea.

The substantial gardens and orchards contain traditional Turkish sitting platforms, hammocks, a green house, rabbits, pigeons, table tennis and mini-football. The hotel is great for families, thanks to its friendly atmosphere and good facilities.

The beautiful, tranquil setting also makes the hotel an excellent choice for those seeking peace and quiet and nature. Many guests find themselves returning again and again.

Food & beverage

With onsite gardens and a greenhouse, the hotel grows its own organic vegetables and greens for use in the kitchen.

Breakfast is a selection of breads, cheeses, tomatoes, olives, jams (made from their own fruit trees) and honey (from a local village).

Main meals - mother Muazzez prepares all the main meals - usually to Turkish and local recipes, but not limited to them.

There are many places you can choose to eat your meals - under the palm trees, by the rubber or citrus trees, under the grape vine arbour or in the informal dining room. If you like the idea of lunch on the beach, picnics are easily arranged.

Area information

The hotel is situated in the village of Çıralı, a one hour drive from Antalya, and boasts a beautiful 3.5km secluded beach, and is a protected area by the WWF for the nesting of Loggerhead Sea Turtles.

In close proximity of the hotel are a variety of interesting sites, including the ruins of the ancient city of Olympos, and the fire-spitting Mount Chimera.

For Hikers, there are various hiking tours, such as the one from Çıralı to Tekirova along the coast, or to the summit of Mount Olympos.

Daily boat tours are also organised to the surrounding islands and bays. A drive along the beautiful coastal road takes you to Demre, with its famous church of Saint Nicholas.

Weekly markets and unique shopping opportunities also exist in the village centre and surrounding areas.

Jill Young couple Brighton, United Kingdom September 21, 2009	The family that runs the hotel were absolutely lovely. Its very close to the beach (best beach ever) and there was plenty of hot water. The breakfast was a bit limited for our liking. There was only white bread and vegetables (and jam) if you dont like turkish cheese and eggs. Veg was home grown and lovely however. Could have done with some cereal and juice.	7

Le site booking.com indiquait une vue sur la mer pour ma chambre dont le prix était par conséquent plus élevé que les autres mais ces chambres n'ont pas de vu sur mer, juste un petit carré bleu minuscule au loin au milieu des feuillage. Si j'avais su je n'aurai pas choisi cette chambre dont le tarif était plus élevé que les autres chambre avec vu sur jardin. L'information "vue sur mer" est pour ma part incorrecte.	5.5
