INTERNET IS FREE AND VERY FAST
I would like to inform that Grand Durmaz Hotel's location is excellent, very close to Aksaray metro station and just a few steps away from the tram station. We enjoyed our breakfast at the terrace as open buffet was quite rich and very tasty. We also eat dinner at the hotel restaurant and was so delicious as well as good value of money.Ask for a daily fix menu..Recommend! The room we stayed was spacious and nicely decorated, very much clean. Thanks to friendly Grand Durmaz Hotel staff ! See you very soon as we will be there in a month time or so for a longer stay with my family ..
I like the location also the hotel has no alcohol
The internet so poor
We enjoyed our stays there and everything was good and in order.
staff, receptionist :(
Near too sultan Ahmet Easy too use tram and metro Safety too come back late because near too actuary tram station. Not far from airport 40 min, around 50 lure by taxi.
Only they need fast wi-fi
so far it is good
there was one guy from reception was not talk nicely especially he asked me to pay more for some materials of Mini Bar I never use it also cleaner was entered to the room without any permission
Location.fair to good
Staff need improvement.bathroom and room as well ad beds small.small wndow with poor view.
I liked the cleanliness and tidiness of all the facilities. I also liked not having alcohol in the minibar (respect for that). The staff is friendly, and helpful once asked to help.
The room is a bit small, barely a space to pray. The bathroom main door wouldn't lock. Shower drain doesn't drain water well, u have to stop the shower from time to time so as not to over flow.
The children in the Grand Durmaz were noisy, and behaved badly, especially in the Breakfast lounge, 6th floor. Rinning, shouting, playing with the lifts. Parents should be informed beforehand that they should discipline their children, and that a hotel - like a home- has basic rules of respect for others. This spoilt my stay at Grand Durmaz Hotel. dren
The location was a little scary..
staffs very poor tyo guest needs and totally non cooprative . the location is too noisy to someone need a quite place in istanbual and if someone histate to take this hotel I advise him to ignore it as an option
Location, proximity to old city, nice room, nice view.
Restaurant staff were lackluster and did not speak English well.
the position facilities, the room had enough space, TV, the bed was comfortable
the lightning of the room was not for reading.
Nothing actually i couldnt sleep
Everything were dirty worst reception ever except the tall skinny guy he was very polite he tried his best. Poor wifi. Disgusting area it was a mistake.
Good position, near the metro station and tram. Excellent for transfer for and from airport. Good breakfast.
It's a bit "grey" like all the city arround...No plants, no flowers.
Same breakfast every day.I stayed at 1st floor, in front of the road, and the noise was a bit annoying
The hotel is great ... It's like 30 seconds walk to aksaray tram station and 3 mints walk to aksaray metro station If you take the tramway ... U can reach the grand bazaar and sultan Ahmed mosque between 5 to 7 mints.. It's very clean and the staff are friendly and great...
The hotel is good but the area at night time not suitable to take out your family and to walk there ... The are a lot of prostitues
Clean hotel. Helpful staff and in a good location. Close to main tourist attractions.
Nice stuff, good breakfast, good position.
All was ok.
The manager himself lied to us!! We originally booked 7 nights, after our first night we decided to reduce the period, and after talking to the manager he said we can as long as we inform them 1 night before (no fees). The next morning we decided to reduce the period to 3 nights, but after we talked to the reception the say we have to pay a change fee of 1 night (or inform them 2 nights before). The manager was not available that day and also the day after (what a suprise!) the reception was also rude to us I will never come back nor recommened anyone
I like the pepole in the hotel & Mr mehemed on of the best there he support me allot
