Hotel Gulec  

Me han gustado los tramites de reserva y recojia en el aeropuerto con Internet que funcionaron a la perfeccion, la amabilidad del dueño y el barrio pintoresco donde se situa el hotel, la bouguinvilla del patio y la limpieza general.

Los colchones son mas que regulares.

Está muy bien situado. Tiene un jardín precioso, en el que desayunas y supone un verdadero lujo. Las habitaciones son quizás demasiado sencillas, pero dado su precio, adecuadas. Están muy limpias, y el trato del personal ha sido estupendo.

Yo mejoraría algo el diseño de las habitaciones, sin que por ello tengan que dejar de ser sencillas.

We were visiting Bodrum for the weekend during our holiday Turkey. The hotel was perfect for our needs, and its locations is great, being just off the main strip. The staff were very friendly and heplful.

Only two small things to say are, we got an early alarm in the morning by way of the local mosque, which is located very near, and second was the pillows in the bed were very thin, had to ask for a second.

Nice little hotel. Clean, tidy and simple. Great location between town and the bus station and close to the beach, shopping, supermarket, internet and so forth. Our bed was a bit hard but lovely breakfast in the garden nonetheless.

I liked the friendliness of the staff who were very welcoming and helpful, including helpfully keeping bags after checkout. The hotel itself is located very centrally close to the centre and waterfront but has a little oasis of tranquility within a central courtyard.

Clean , comfortable , brilliant location just minutes from the castle ,harbour and beach but in a very quiet street ,no noise at all . Lovely peacefull gardens where you can eat a lovely Turkish breakfast ( served till 11 o clock , The Gulec is well run by the family that own it . Excellant little bakery and Taverna opposite are highly recomended they cost a fraction of what you pay in the harbour and beach area .

The location is excellent - in the middle of Bodrum and literally 3 minutes from the most famous street and beach by walking. It is also very clean and comfortable which makes it a great value for money at a quite reasonable price. Additionally, Kemal Bey (owner) and the staff of the hotel are always smiling and very helpful with all of the arrangements you would like to have in/around the city- as if they are your private concierge. I strongly recommend this Hotel to anyone who wants to get great value of money and would like to be close to the town center while also would like to travel around the Bodrum peninsula with convenience.

We like : 1) the location of this hotel (not far from the sea side, in the town center, in a calm area...), 2) its nice and well maintained garden where it was pleasant to take the breakfast, 3) the home made aromatized oil and olives served at breakfast, 4) the owners (Mr & Ms Gulec) who welcome us very gently and to whom it was very interesting to have discussions.

Super clean. Super simple. Very friendly staff. Close to water. Quiet.

The breakfast in the beautiful garden was very nice. The owner was pretty friendly.

The room was poorly furnished and very dusty. The bathroom was dirty and the drainage was poor. We had to wipe the surfaces with anti-bacterial wipes before even using the bathroom.

1. Staff - The owner was very helpful and spoke good English. The rest of the staff were nice too. 2. Room - Rooms were clean and had decent furniture. Pillows could have been better though. Hot water was available in plenty. 3. Breakfast - Basic turkish spread. In an orchard of orange and pomegranate trees. They serve on the table. 4. Location is excellent. Less than five mins from the bus stop and marina. Located in the market. Multiple places for food and drink closeby.
