Gulhanepark Hotel  

Et hotel med god beliggenhed lige I "smørhullet" tæt på de store turistattraktioner, fantastisk personale, der nærmest "står på pinde" for gæsterne, altid med smil og venlighed. Vi var 10 personer og alle var meget tilfredse med hotellet og personalet. Pæne store værelser, gode senge, badeværelser med kar eller bruser - bare godt. Fin og rigelig morgenmad, og middagen var også rigtig god. Vi havde en fødselar blandt os, og på fødselsdagen havde personalet dækket et utroligt flot morgenbord til os. Det er ikke sidste gang vi bor på det hotel. Vil til enhver tid anbefale hotellet til andre.

Just location.

Poor mantinance, bad air condition , some times the no hot water on the toilet and shower, the room area for trouble beds very small .

The staff were very helpful and always available to offer advice on anything and everything we asked about. The location was excellent and children (son aged 11, daughters aged 9 and 8) had an absolute ball to the point where they were feeling like the neighbourhood was their "home" by the time we left. Would certainly stay again if we were ever lucky enough to go back to Istanbul and would definately recommend the hotel to families with children of similar ages. Main plus for us was the location.

Two downs: 1. First night we had to call down to reception to "complain" about the noise from the room next to us. However, no sooner had we phoned than we heard reception calling the other room and they immediately ceased the noise. Another "family" in that room with roudy children who perhaps did not realise how easily the sound travelled between rooms. Every other night (including two more with them next door) were fine. 2. Size of the room. Extra bed was put into room that was really more suitable for 3 or possibly 4 making it a bit of a squeeze. However, as we were only in the room to sleep it was not really a bother but if you were looking to spend longer in the room with 5 it could be a concern.

Location - everything can be reached by foot, breakfast is fine but only if you stay for not more than 3 days otherwise...))

When we asked for a taxi to airport the day before they told us not to worry as it can come in 5 minutes after they call. As a result next morning the reception didn't even warned us that there is a problem with traffic due to marathon and just told us go outside and try to get a taxi there... So it spoiled our impression about this hotel. Be carefull!

The hotel is very good located, the rooms are large and clean, personnel is kind and polite. You can reach everything by foot. The hotel has more than enough city guides and maps for free. Breakfast is rich, although a bit uniform. Special thanks to the most polite stuff Veysel and to the most friendly one Irfan!

everythin was top fine : which include breakfeast, wifi connection, comfort in the room , location, staff .. I saw the nice gymnastic room but did not try the sauna or massage services .. so nothing to say in this regard

Location, very close to main city points and tranaportation

The location is very good to the old city and for shopping , and for historical places .

Excellent location

1. Poor breakfast - bland and lacking variety; had to pay extra for expresso coffee and fresh juice 2. Air conditioning working but inadequate
