The hotel is average.
There was dust covering a bedside table and some brochures left on the table from the previous occupant... There was a misfortune when we were there. We booked a balloon flight in one morning but the staff told the agency a wrong room number. In the end, no one picked us up that morning because they went to a wrong room. We went up to ask that staff and he said he didn't know what was wrong and didn't seem to care. We had to go to the agency to get it solved.
The hotel room is very small but clean and cute. Not far from town center. The restaurant's and shops is just walking distance. The breakfast is yummy. The terrace has amazing view.
Triple room is a little bit small but we like to decoration.
Everything was perfect. The owner excellent. We had to leave very early in the motning and he solved evething opening earlier the room to breakfast.
the hotel holder is really nice. we booked balloon tour through an untrusted agency, and met a lot of problems, he helped a lot.
Perfect location for exploring Goreme and we loved our room.
good location,good price
card payment is not avilable, and one the web page show we could pay by card very inconvenience
rooftop terrrace good location staff can arrange tours for a good price
Gultekin has a very good position in Goreme, with traditional "cave aspect" rooms. The terrace has a great view over the splendid surroundings, you can enjoy your breakfast and admire the balloons.
The breakfast could be a bit more rich, diverse
The owner of the Hotel was nice. The hotel was close to the mean places.
The room wasnt look like in the picture. The bathroom was more Than small. But the worst was the recepcionist. He was very rude, doesnt know how to act and behavie with the guests. I travelled a lot, im not suggesting anyone this place.
The receptionists were very helpful - made airport shuttle bus pickup and balloon trip after reservation was made. Hotel Terrance has great view of the fairy chimney. Facilities are clean.
Good and abundant food for breakfast. Excellent view of Goreme from terrace where breakfast tables were located. Rooms were clean and bathroom facilities were good. Staff helpful only if you ask. The most friendly staff was the room cleaner who appeared to actively engage in some kind of helpful dialogue, in particular with my disable mother in law. Thank you to her.
We arrived with my disable mother in law and my partner having booked 2 rooms, a single and a double. Got there and only one room was reserved for us. A mistake they said. Manager eventually found a room in another newly built hotel wing 5-6 minutes walk away, just outside a dusty car park where building work was still in progress. The room was good but still smelling of some kind of gloss paint or varnish. Had to keep all windows open to breathe. Spent 3 nights there and eventually another room was freed in the original hotel. This was clean and simply but graciously decorated, but too small for a double room. We could not fully open a large suitcase on the floor. Half leaning against the wall and it was blocking the passage. My mother in law room was ventilated only by a small window near the door, so air circulation was limited and we could smell stale air. Staff were not unfriendly, but didn't show the pro-active initiatives I've found in other Turkish hotels. Overall I think they could do better.
Room was beautifully decorated, semi underground. Location was very central Upstairs terrace Levent the office manager was extremely helpful, he booked a transfer for us to the airport. The basic breakfast was fine.
Other guests talking loudly outside our room after bedtime Fellow guests interrupting while I was in the middle of transacting business with the manager. One guest harassed the manager for over half an hour trying to get a special deal. If I was him I would have asked her to leave. So the point here is that some people are expecting way too much from a budget location and have bad manners to boot.
The staff was supposed to pick me up from information center at 5:30am and the i called from info center and the staff said ok on the phone and will come by for picking me up. ,,but 5 mins later called back said can't come because they don't have car. And in the dark early morning i carried all my heavy stuffs looking for this hostel from all similar looking caves. When i finally got there they were sleeping deeply and couldn't hear my knocking sound. And the breakfast was terrible terrible , all very staled and not fresh nothing to eat. I have never seen this bad breakfast in Turkey. I don't understand why they don't have shift worker system. Usually people leave early and come early in cappadocia, they should have some care about guests instead of sleeping and ignoring guests.
Beautiful room and bathroom. It was not a "cave room", but a room made by the same rocks found in the caves. If you already made the check-out, they allow you to leave the bags there and take a shower when you come back from the tour, before leave the city. Good breakfast, with a wonderful view of the city. Very central, close to restaurants. Easy to walk to the sunset point to see the baloons, but you can see also from the hotel's terrace.
No air conditioning nor fan in the room, what in the summer is a problem.
Friendly & helpfull owner, arrenged for us the cappadocia tours. We Sure Will come back to this place on our next cappadocia trip!
The views from the terrace were amazing
It has not got air conditioned, although you dream in a cave it is neccesary and also a fridge
Kind staffs, no pressure about the tour, great location. I visited on 5th of Jul and stayed for 2 days. I had great sleep there and the room was adorable. I would love to re-visit this hotel.
the roof top where the reception and cafeteria located were really nice
the room was so hot and there was no A/C
Very nice breakfast served on rooftop terrace. Excellent location, in walking distance of all the sights and bus station. Friendly staff.
Clean rooms, great service and helpful staff. Trips booked at the pension were good value and not overpriced.
Friendly personnel. Fantastic view from the terrace.
Isac, so kind Perfect location fantastic breakfast cute cats
Located within 5mins walk to town centre. Free pickup on arrival. Very hospitable & flexible staff, eg they accepted my request for a towel to shower even after we already checked out, offered us free breakfast when we arrived early. They also ensured all my tour bookings are in order.
The staff was very helpful at the hotel and made excellent suggestions with many alternatives. The breakfast there doesn't look like much but, it was tasty. The rooms are cute.
