Location and staffs, rooms, views from terrace excellent
The hotel owner was fabulously helpful and kind. Beautiful views throughout hotel.
We had two rooms, a double for my husband and me and a single for our adult daughter. The double was huge with a couch and a king sized bed and lots of open floor space. The room had air conditioning, which we needed as it was August. The bathroom was fine with a good sized shower. The single was small with two single beds. Both were located on the outside, that is, they were not cave rooms. There is a nice terrace where we had breakfast and the breakfast options were generally pretty tasty. Staff were very helpful and it is nicely located not too far off the main drag.
I had thought when I booked the room that the single was going to be a cave room. It turned out not to be. This was slightly disappointing, but honestly, not really a problem. I would say in general that if you really want to sleep in a cave room in any Goreme hotel, you need to be very careful about booking it as it is often not clear whether the rooms are true cave rooms or not.
friendly staff beutifull view from room and terrace great room
no cleaning for 3 days, even when we put the door sign (no towels, toilet paper, garbage bag, .. nothing.. )
Nice room where you can feel yourself inside a cave but with some good privileges. It is confortable and people helpful.
Breakfast is quite improvable in quality and in the possibility to use the terrace.
The staff was so nice and helpful. We liked the location, it is a block or two off the busier area so it is quiet. Nice patio. Very clean.
The rooms are small but they were sufficient for two people who don't mind not spreading out too much.
The staff were excellent for everything
Nothing were happy with everything
The stay was Overall nice. The staff is also cooperative. A special mention for Mustafa... he makes sure that guests are Happy with the stay. . And goes an extra mile (with in reach) to attain that.
Staff were super nice and helpful, bed was really comfortable, sorry walking distance from many places, good price, nice decor
I didn't like the shower. Many places in Turkey don't have closed shower stalls...this is one. The bathroom floor looked clean but it still feels gross to take a shower the same floor as the toilet.
Mustafa - the hotel owner - was extremely helpful in terms of providing information so we utilised our short stay in Cappadocia. The hotel itself was clean, accessible and very cool inside the caves. Breakfast was delicious and a large selection (including cereal/muesli!) Mustafa also was the pilot of our hot air balloon and made it a very memorable experience!
Location Staff Cleanliness
WI FI is poor and would need to be improved
102 - Lovely room, large balcony, views across Goreme, nice staff. Breakfast nice. Views from terrace lovely.
The passages & stairway echoed, so woken up at 4am by group leaving hotel for balloon trip, then again at 5:10am when they returned from the cancelled flight, then again at 6am when staff sat & talked in reception area at start of their work day. Next morning bang on the door at 4am to tell me balloon ride cancelled and I wasn't even booked on it. Also street noise, as vehicles passed only cms from balcony.
The staff are extremely kind and always willing to help. The location is great; just at the town centre with everything you need at less than 10 min walk. The room service is good and the breakfast was nice. They very well and conveniently organised our transfer from and back to the airport at the usual shuttle charge. The view is superb overlooking the breathtaking natural rock formations and valleys of cappadocia.
The bathroom had a strange uncomfortable smell but I think it is in all the area and not just this hotel because we smelled it at other places. It might be related to the stones and lime in the area. The toilet seat is put at a small corner making it very tricky to use and to sit comfortably. I think this particularly needs to be fixed.
Excellent hôtel. Very good location. Clean and quiet. Very Nice room. And above all very Nice welcoming and amazing staff, particularly mustafa who is very helpful and Will give you the best information! I highly recommand this hôtel!
Friendly staff and cozy, clean rooms. There was also a terrace right outside our rooms with a lovely view :)
The bathroom had a funny smell at the beginning, but after airing it out the smell wasn't so bad.
Guven cave is a very friendly and lovely place to stay...the staff are so helpful and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The hotel is in a great location!
Excellent hotel, the staff were very helpful in giving us advice on daily activities, fantastic location and good breakfast. Would stay again
Great location. Near to Göreme city center, but not in a crowded and loud place. Mustafa, the hotel manager, is a great guy with the correct attitude to his guests. The Internet connection was very fast and available in the whole hotel.
The room had very basic furniture. A small fridge and a telephone in the room would be nice. In the room, there were two cups with tea bags in it, but no kettle to get the hot water for them :)
Great staff, good location, very good value for money. Breakfast was ample and Mustafa was really helpful. The bed was very comfy, and the toilet/shower is just the right size.
The only downside is that you can hear steps (going up and down the stairs), and people talking along the hallway.
the staff is soooooooo kind and helpful!!The location is good as well as its breakfast.
A flyer was always in our room.
Great, helpful staff: Mustafa was wonderful. Also, Mustafa was our balloon pilot. Nice breakfast. Good location.
Not surprisingly, cave room was dark!
The stuff of this hotel is very very friendly and helpful. The hotel manager, Mustafa, gave me a plenty of travel information and didn't push customers to buy the daily tour and balloon trip. The hotel was very cozy and clean. The Turkish breakfast is awesome! I'm happy to stay there for two nights. Highly recommend.
The location was great, staff spoke plenty of English, the room was comfy.
It was not actually a cave, but still a nice hotel.
The staff of this hotel is simply FANTASTIC! Especially the young boy Omer Aslan! Please stay in the hotel if you will spend time in Goreme, because you won't regret it! And yes, the breakfast (included) is outstanding!
The owner, Mustafa, upgraded my room which very nice of him. It's a family-run hotel and the attentiveness is superb, so unlike the large characterless hotels. Mustafa's direction to the walks around Goreme was spot-on. The hotel has rooms that face the hills. The decor on the passage way exudes quiet personality. The restaurant at the top offers a good view of the valley. The hotel is only 2 minutes walk downhill to the village center which has many shops and yet retain an old-world charm.
