We spent two weeks and a half in Turkey and we slept in quite a few beautiful hotels, but I have to say that Han Garden was truly the best one. Gülden, Özgür and Billy are wonderful hosts and we are missing them so much...! Before reaching the south-western area of Turkey, we were not that sure that choosing Kayaköy as destination was the best choice. The town is on a hill and you don't have a direct view on the sea. But despite this is much more authentic than the close towns of Fethiye and Ölüdeniz, that we perceived as really turistic and overcrowded. Kayaköy is a rural town with some restaurants and a few pubs and markets, and with a car you can easily reach all the beaches around (by walking it takes at least 30 mins - but as alternative there is a dolmus connecting Kayaköy to the other towns). If you look for the most natural and isolated beaches (but still easy to reach) the guys will reveal you all the secrets of the area. Talking about Han Garden, the rooms are big, clean and comfortable, but you can also sleep in bungalows or bring your tent. The garden itself is huge and full of fruit trees (as we were there in the good season, they were always telling us to catch some cherries before leaving the garden), plants, vegetables and sofas everywhere. From the swimming pool -- always super clean - you also have a view on the abandoned Greek houses, important part of the history of Kayaköy. The breakfast is amazing, mostly made of home products (as vegetables, jams, fruits, eggs, spices...) and prepared in a few minutes whenever you wake up. However, the most beautiful thing is that we felt at home from the very first time, and that when you are there, after breakfast, you don't actually feel like leaving the garden and you take all your time before moving up and go to the beach. We enjoyed a lot listening to the stories and tips of Gülden, Özgür and their friends passing by to chill out on a sofa or to drink a tea and eat some fruits.
