Everything. You have to see and stay in this place. This is one of the life time experiences. Beautiful rooms, location, people... If you ever visit Konya go and stay at HICH.
The location , service, staff , and food.
First, this is one of the best hotel experiences we have had. The staff, the breakfast, the concept, the room layout all worked together in this hotel that felt like an easy chair. The building is old and like an old house the inhabitants discover her ways. This might not work for everyone. A shower stall that needs no door, or a high towel rack are offset by an expresso machine and healthy snacks. The housekeeper might not speak your language, but she was quick enough to understand from our examples to arrange the room quickly with no fuss. It was definitely worth the eight hour bus ride and long minibus ride from the station.
near Mevlana Museum and city center by walking maximum 10 minutes.
The location is the absolute best in Konya! Our room's large windows framed the Mevlana museum! Yilmaz was so generous with his time and great suggestions. The building is beautiful and historic. Breakfast was excellent. We left very grateful. And full! Truly wonderful!
we got upgraded for free to the beautiful suite. The breakfast is amazing. and u r basically living right next to the great Rumi. We loved everything about it and we are definitely going back.
The decor, the location, the breakfast and personalised service was excellent. Convenient location and staff are ready at hand to help with whatever they can.
Staff was great, design was perfect.
Room was a little but warm, needed to use air condition in winter day
Hich Hotel is absolutely gorgeous - juxtaposing old with new. The staff are really helpful and friendly. The location is perfect. The breakfast (and the downstairs breakfast room) is fabulous. They have thought of everything that could make you comfortable - even an espresso machine in your room!
I have nothing negative to say.
The staff were welcoming and helpful, as well as very generous. We thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality and the extra touches in the room, such as the coffee machine, daily nuts and apricots, and bottles of water. I felt at home and would definitely stay at Hich when I visit Konya again.
Comfortably situated, walking distance from all major attractions and activities. Yet, the hotel feels like a quiet sanctuary in the midst of bustling tourist district. The delicious traditional Turkish breakfast was composed as a delicate Japanese Bento Box. The hotel General Executive, Murat was kind and helpful in arranging our itinerary. We highly recommend it.
The room was huge, comfortable. The concierge was helpful with information. The breakfast was a Turkish feast.
On arrival, we had to wait for a long time, at least half an hour while he was checking in other people, to check into our room. We were hungry as we hadn't eaten lunch, but the concierge insisted we wait at the hotel until he could check us in. He suggested we sit in the cafe and have a coffee, but there was no-one serving in the cafe and so we just waited around.
Wonderful hotel, beautiful and with very helpful and friendly staff. The manager was extremely helpful and supportive and gave us very good advice. The hotel's breakfast is famous in Konya and the location is right in the heart of the city. Very good value for money for an excellent hotel.
One week was really too short... We'll have to come back for more!
Our room was literally "roomy" and with modern fittings. The breakfast was excellent and served in an attractive room
I can't fault anything! Everything was amazing!! From the moment i booked the hotel till the point i left the hotel. This is my second visit to Konya in a space of 8 months and both times i've stayed at this hotel. Its yards away from mevlana museum, 10min walk from the cultural centre and walking distant to visit all attractions. The hotel itself is has a lovely boutique look to it. White, natural colours with a touch of class. It offers breakfast and room service for lunch/dinner. There are plenty of eating places around and if you're home sick then there is a high end shopping mall 10mins drive away. The staff are very friendly and happy to be of service 24hours. This hotel is perfect for anyone who wants to truley experience the true beauty of Rumi's RA World. You wont be disappointed, i wasn't.
Decor, large bathroom, beautiful apartment, excellent service, great location
Good service, friendly staff, strongly recommend
We were given an upgrade and the room we had was very large and fantastic. Enjoyed the location, was an easy walk to everything. Breakfast was delicious.
Hich is tucked away like a secret gem opposite the mystical Mevlanas turbesi. This hotel is full of culture with kind personnel who are enthusiastic to tell the history of local mosques and Mevlana. There is a mystical atmosphere especially when the prayer call begins (ezan), you can hear so many at the same time, amazing! Wake up early to hear morning ezan and experience peace and tranquility in your heart.
I didn't like to leave Hich hotel :(
The staff on arrival were very welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and spacious. Real value for money. Would definitely recommend this hotel
Having travelled through Turkey for almost a month, I never expected to find a hotel quite like the Hich in Konya. What a hidden gem! A boutique hotel like no other. The staff, the service, the rooms, the breakfast...everything was exceptional! I would highly recommend it.
The friendly very helpful staff the location the breakfast the restful décor The Sufi ambiance The garden Café No tipping (they want to serve) Our wonderful room EVERYTHING - clocks over reception from many holy cities - Mecca, Jerusalem, Varanesi, Vatican etc and clock in the center runs backward showing timelessness
mattress was hard (for me) not as hard as our last hotel
Water pressure in the shower was weak
Location to the Mevlana Museum was perfect. The hotel was clean. The day manager tried very hard to please.
The queen size bed advertised is an European queen which means it is a full 12 inches narrower than a North American queen size bed which is a huge difference. The night staff spoke no English so when we had problems like our a/c not working, he just said "tomorrow" as if we wanted to sleep in a hot room or even could sleep in a hot room for the rest of the night. Not a good experience after a long day of traveling. The breakfast was fine, just as good as most Turkish breakfasts but simple things like having HOT coffee, plates out, things refilled did not happen. I didn't like having breakfast in the basement with very loud music. I don't care for the décor style of the hotel as it is all Ikea furniture instead of the beautiful Turkish furniture that we so love.
Location, overlooking Mevlana museum. Staff. No tipping policy,. Lovely breakfast room and unique but good breakfast .comfortable room and good bed
