We stayed at the hotel for two days last week and it was all around a fantastic time. Most impressive was the kindness of the staff. For example: We had already checked out and gone on a winter walk and returned with soaked feet (it was snowing at the time) - the manager allowed us to use another room for free to get showered and dried before we left. Thank you for the time!
Nice boss and nice view with good price ! How can u find such kind of cave hostel in this price in Goreme!
The location ,not easy to find really From the bus stations by walking up the hill with backpack
Our first floor room was entirely in the cave. Very hot inside so we had to open the door to make it cooler. Clean sheets, amazing interior, clean bathroom with toiletries. Very good breakfasts with amazing view! Stuff is very helpful and speaks perfect English, helped us to book green tour in Cappadocia.
Location is far from the bus station and up the hill. It also took us another half an hour to find it because of poor guidelines on the way.
We are a young couple from Istanbul, we stayed in Göreme 7 nights and we are very pleased. Hills Cave Hotel is situated in the center of Göreme which is the most beautiful place of Cappadocia. You can be sure that it's a fantastic hotel, very clean, fresh, relaxing and most important welcoming! You don't find that often in other hotels. The price is not expensive at all and all the staff people are extremely friendly. We really thank Mr. Mehmet and Mr. Göktuğ for having been so gentle and kind to us. Düzgün & Hande
Nothing is any trouble. Everything perfect.
Although we booked the double cave room I believe we stayed in the triple as they could not find our reservation at first. In the end our room had 1 large bed (queen) and 1 single bed. Minimally but tastefully decorated to not take away from the cave setting. The en-suite bathroom was really gorgeous. Everything looked like new from the toilet to the furnishings on the sink and cabinets. The shower was large with hot water and decent pressure. Wifi worked in the room and in the terrace where you eat breakfast which was delicious.
The service was a catastrophe. Not a single person could speak English. The two people in the reception were sleeping both times I arrived and were not bothered to try and help. Once I got wifi I was able to translate some things but as soon as there was a problem he would call his boss and even his boss did not really understand me or vice-versa. The location is very poorly indicated. The address given on booking.com indcated a wrong area for us on our map. We got lost twice trying to find it and had to ask another hotel and even they had trouble finding it. It takes about 8-10 minutes to walk back down to Goreme but heads up if you have lots of luggage or a heavy backpack as when you go up to the hotel there is a bit of an incline and lots of stairs in addition to lots of construction (at least in the winter there is construction).
Beautiful room, WiFi signal was fine in the cave, good Turkish breakfast with nice view, very helpful staff for making the best of our visit
Garbage was never taken out (minor). Also not easy to find on foot. Use their signs (Hills Cave) or the signs for Fairy Chimney, and on the Hills sign with no arrow go right through the archway, then take your first left and you're there.
Staff friendly and helpful, great breakfast, amazing cave room, not very far to walk to goreme bus station, staff went out of their way to return something to me I left behind
We loved our stay in a 3 bed cave room, it was cozy and very unique. Some of the details are still being finished but overall it was a wonderful stay. The staff were very helpful and kind, made us feel so welcome. Best place we've stayed in 4 months of travel. Excellent value with breakfast included, great view of balloons over Goreme from the terrace. Thanks from New Zealand!
+ comfy room, like it
- wifi signal is not good in some area
Awesome cave rooms to experience Great free breakfast Outstanding staff-I left my sword behind and realised while on bus, they raced a taxi to meet the bus with it in Nevsehir b4 it left for Istanbul! Very thankful Let us check in at 830 and have free breakfast as came on night bus -my boyfriend couldn't walk anywhere else to eat as sprained his foot night b4 Great view from terrace Staff helped with information and bookings
It is a very clean hotel. And we like the breakfast very much, fresh and local. Ali is a shy person but with very warm heart and careness. With his help, our trip to Goreme was a pleasant one. We were worried about the transportation from and to the airport, with his arrangement, we had smooth and worry-free transition. Should we go there again, we would definitely stay at this hotel.
Very good room and bathroom. Good breakfast. There was a problem on booking my baloon flight (maybe with the baloon company) but they worked hard to book another one and, also, to compansate the earlier stress, picked me up in city center after a Dervish show at night. Very good staff, specially Ali. He does anything to make you comfortable and happy with your trip. Very good value for Money.
You have to go up for +- 500m ... but it can be a little exercise, rather than a boring/tiring way back to hotel.
Ali and other staff are very nice and helpful. They can help you too book any event and give you a reasonable price. The breakfast is really not that bad as other has comment, cant say amazing but as I have lived in many hotels before in Turkey, their food is quite the same. Even some hotels may offer more cheeses and olives but it wont meet Chinese people's taste, i can say hill cave's food is good enough and you can eat as much as you want. Lovely and enjoyable stay.
nothing to be complained about. Thank you again.
Staff, service, assistance, very useful information for area, view, location of hotel.
The hotel is not directly in the centrum but it is 5-10 min walk to the centrum, which made our stay even better. You can sleep with open windows, without to hear the Worcester of the Main Street. The hotel is located in a valley with a nice view from the terrace, where you also can have the breakfast. The breakfast is a buffet and was good to start the day with olives, cheese, fresh tomatoes and jam or honey and more... The room we had was very nice. More then enough for 2 person. The jacuzzi in the bathroom was amazing. The staff of the hotel organizes also any kind of tours. We made a balloon flight, recommended by the hotel owner. Something what everyone should do in Cappadocia. A wonderful hotel in an amazing town.
the cave room is unusual, you can see the baloons from the terrace.
breakfast is quite poor and 4 cats are joining you
Friendly service. Somewhat authentic cave-style room. Value price. Was given early checkin & late checkout so that was awesome!
The walk uphill to the hotel especially in summer heat. Wifi is 90% good but occasionally lost signal when inside the "cave" room.
- Helpful staff - Huge room with jacuzzi - Very quiet place
-There is no aircon in the room. -Location a bit far from city center.
The position is good and cave hotel is interesting. Kind staff.
The wifi was not good in the room.
It was a wonderfull stay.clean and wonderfull personel.
I really enjoyed que Hotel because everything was very nice and cleaned. Outstanding personal. I felt at home. I strongly recommend it.
Amazing location - clean, new rooms hollowed out of the rock, great hotel, beautiful view, perfect service, delicious breakfast (all drinks for free!). The best service we've ever had, manager Sahin is welcoming, friendly, helpful and funny. They arranged for us the cheapest balloon flight in Goreme. On 100% we recommend this hotel. It is just a pity that there aren't so many hotels with such friendly people like in Hills cave Hotel. When driver from airport lift us to the wrong hotel - they picked up within few minutes without any problem. We spent nice time Hills Cave Hotel. Hope to back there agian.
No towels that day
Friendly Staff Clean and big rooms Sitting area in front of every room Good breakfast Quiet area
